I can't wait to be rid of BottlePOS
I can't wait to be rid of BottlePOS. The software shows different sales numbers depending on how I run reports, it doesn't figure discounting into margin numbers--and tech support is terrible. They don't know how the software works. They don't return phone calls (even when they drop phone calls). It is unbelievably stupid to have software that doesn't figure discounts into margin--they obviously don't know much about what a retailer needs to measure their business. Last thing, their credit card processing is way too high. After re-negotiating with their merchant services, the agreed-upon changes were never made. RUN FROM THIS COMPANY.

Crystal found the solution to our problem and was excellent. The problem is that it took multiple weeks and a handful of techs until we finally got to Crystal who ACTUALLY fixed our issue. Hire more people like Crystal, get better initial programmers, don't over-promise and under-deliver on your Point of Sale. We'll be done with PoSNation and BottlePoS soon.

Bait and Switch Marketing Sales Tactics
I had a very disappointing experience with BottlePOS due to their bait-and-switch tactics. Initially, I dealt with Dan, who assured me that if I placed my order immediately, the company would provide an $800 rebate. He also promised that they would honor a billing authorization to charge me in February, understanding that I would be away on vacation until September.
Trusting Dan’s assurances, I went ahead and placed the order, making the necessary credit card payments. However, shortly after, a supervisor called me and informed me that they could not provide the additional three-month billing extension as previously agreed. This left me feeling misled and frustrated, as I had relied on the original terms to make my decision.
The lack of consistency and transparency in their communication is unacceptable. It's disappointing to see such unethical practices, and I would caution others to be wary of promises made by Bottle POS representatives.
