Needs better management and planning

Didn't deliver our order even though we ordered a Thanksgiving meal weeks in advance. We filed a complaint, but Boston Market said they could do nothing about it. I understand that people are overworked and understaffed, but at the very least to make things right with those who ordered ahead of time.

I pulled up to the drive through at…

I pulled up to the drive through at 11:08 am. The associate told me to hold on. I sat in the drive through until 11:40am. Before pulling up. The associate explained that the Mentor Ohio location doesn’t open until 12. I asked why didn’t explain that before having me sit in the drive through for almost 40 minutes. He shut the window on me without a care in the world.

Boston Market does NOT pay their sub…

Boston Market does NOT pay their sub contractors for service work done. They hired S Star Electric out of Littleton, CO to do work at several of their locations in the Denver metro area and have not paid their 8 invoices amounting to $12,000. We have submitted paperwork for liens in each county. If you are a contractor, DO NOT do work with them, as you will NOT get paid for your services. Better yet, stay far away from Boston Market Corporation as they don't answer their phone, have their doors locked at the corporate office in Golden, while employees are inside, and have zero contact information on social media. Hopefully this review will help them understand how hurtful they are to other companies that have provided services for them.

Boston Market Catering-Don't chance it

1 hour before my Christmas themed wedding I received a call that the credit card I had used to purchase my wedding food was declined. I had used gift cards to purchase all three of our orders. We owed Boston Market $0. To ensure my guests had food I paid on my credit card. After talking with the local shop it turned out that they had also cancelled one of my orders. It was already paid for!!!! and now a good bit of what we had ordered was unavailable. I let the local shop know I was due a refund but a month later I am still out 1000+ dollars over this and now am going thru the aggravation of Credit dispute and with my luck small claims court. Stay away!!!!!!

SCUMBAG THIEVES. Do not spend your money with this shady corporation, they will straight up steal your money and not provide the goods and services you paid for.

Bad choice for turkey catering

I had an early Thanksgiving dinner and decided to try the catering menu. I first went there a week before and got a single turkey dinner to try it out and it was great. I ordered 2 trays of turkey breast, one tray of chicken, and a tray of mixed vegetables. The only thing that tasted like Boston Market was the Chicken. The Turkey breast tasted and looked weird, like it wasn't fresh and microwaved from being frozen. It was dry. The mixed vegetables were undercooked and loaded with black pepper, which was not the way they tasted when I had the single meal. The chicken was great. Very little of the turkey was eaten, and it wasn't cheap! On another note, the parking lot is a trip disaster with potholes and stones everywhere. The appearance of this market needs a lot of love!

i went to Boston Market in Homewood ill and fell in the parking lot where there is a sewer cover that i stepped on and the top flipped over causing me to fall the manager Marsha came out and helped me up. The company never called to see how i was doing.

Never get what I pay for

I get delivery from here a lot because I love the food. Unfortunately, they've managed to mess up my order every single time. Something is always missing or wrong. Last time we ordered a sandwich combo but we didn't get the side or drink. They also didn't give us the gravy for the mashed potatoes or the cornbread, the cilantro lime rice was unedible, and they gave us regular chicken instead of garlic parmesan. The receipt had our correct order on it. It always does. We just never get what we pay for. I thought it was a simple mistake the first few times but now I find that hard to believe after it's happened many times over two years.
The food quality isn't consistent either but it's almost always good so it's not a big deal.

Dissatisfied

I placed on order online of half barbecue dark, corn, mash potatoes, with extra sides of mac n cheese, and southwest cob salad. iI usual check my order. I arrived home to eat, to find a empty spot on my tray, where the mash potatoes should have been. The southwest cobb salad came with lettuces, cheese, and croutons only... what a waste of my time and money😡

We went to Boston Market Saturday. I can't believe it was horrible. This is the first time we've ever had bad food in years. The potatoes weren't real they were instant. Macaroni and cheese was watered down and just awful. I was there a few months back the food has always been great. They said stuffing is seasonal Saturday at last visit. I can assure you I have had stuffing there back last time and it wasn't Thanksgiving. I won't be going to the Saugus, RT, Broadway location again anytime soon. What a shame they used to be phenomenal.

Always an excellent experience at your restaurant. Boston Market is definitely one of my utmost favorites. They too love it when customers are happy. During my pregnancy my daughter mostly loved your food and so did I. We still love your food. I say less oil use for every restaurant is usually the best.

HORRIBLE CONDITIONS AND FOOD!!!

I recently dined at the Boston Market in El Cajon, California and there CLEARLY been a change in management! I could. It believe the lack of flavor, poor quality of the food, and despicable customer service. In times past, I always order my food to go and have no problems when I get home. That was not the case my last visit. EVERYTHING ordered was poor quality: the meatloaf was dry and without flavor, the sweet potato casserole recipe was modified to a heap of mush with no sugar and no richness. The food looked like it hadn’t been turned over in quite some time and the corn muffins were brittle and dry. There is NO reason I should have to spend my hard earned money on overpriced food just to get low quality and tasteless food!!! I! AM! APPALLED! I was a food inspector in my precious career and could tell from the unkempt employees that the quality of food had diminished!

I ordered our dinner on…

I ordered our dinner on Bostonmarket.com 1/5/19 from our local Boston Market in Marietta, Ga. I went to pick up our meal and it was not ready. I was told that the online ordering was not working and that I would be refunded the $46.09 that I had paid online automatically for the meal. I went ahead and ordered food there again. I was charged $57.00 there in the store for our dinner. I went back the following day because I was double charged according to my account. I was told that I would be refunded in 3-5 business days and if I wasn't refunded back to come back at the end of the week. I go back the following weekend 1/12/19 to Boston Market because I still had not been refunded yet. Boston Market is gone. The signs are gone, the store is now empty, and I have been left without a refund or any place to go to in order to get one. I have been a loyal customer for years and completely left hanging. If a location is going to close, turn off the online ordering. Otherwise people get screwed. There is nowhere to turn. You are just out. One family meal for 5 cost $103.09. Sadly, it didn't even have the gravy. I work hard to provide for my family too. I don't appreciate the lack of respect and integrity.

Never Again

This year was the first year my siblings and I have all been together for thanksgiving. Now because I was scheduled to work my brother (who drove up from south Florida with his wife and three kids to Central Florida) suggested we have our thanksgiving catered. I made the arrangements and online with boston market for a hot holiday meal which included.

So as you can see with the information I copied and pasted everything I ordered should have been enough for 12 people with the option of seconds. This was booked to be picked up by myself the morning of thanksgiving between 7am-7:15am.The day before Thanksgiving I called to have the pick up time changed from 7am to 2:30pm and also varied that this was a hot order. So when the voice on the phone confirmed it I was please especially when he told me he was the manager and would have it already for my brother to pick up and that he could pay in cash at pick up. On thanksgiving day however I learned through my brother that the order was going to be cold. So I called the location while at work and spoke to 3 people before speaking to a guy named Quam. He told me that my order would be cold not hot and i missed the pick up time as well. I explained what all took please the day before and to whom i spoke to and he placed om hold while he verified with the manager. With no apologies given he then asked me to review what was supposed to be on my order. I couldn't understand why I had to repeat what should have already been in there system already but I complied by going over my receipt that was emailed after I placed the order. And still after all that I was still missing food. I than called the store again and Quam picked up. Immediately he knew who I was and he simply said there was nothing that could be done but to come in and show him on the receipt where the it stated it was a hot meal not a heat and seat meal as it says on there website because he said there system said otherwise. I told him I was at work and that the day after I would be in to see a manager and he hung up. After I received an email stating I had asked for the original order to be canceled. At this point I was so poorly treated that I decided that I would never order from Boston Market again. Wether it be for an every day dinner or holiday catering I was better off getting McDonalds( less headache and better quality of food.) Because my original order was totaled to be $182 with enough food and desert to feed 12 people but with whatever Quam did I ended up with a $179 bill where 4 people had no desert because I was missing 2 pumpkin pies, had only 1 32oz cranberry walnut relish for 12 people instead of 2, 1 container of gravey instead of 2 to be used on 2 containers worth of mashed potatoes and turkey, and dry ham because there was no ham sauce or glaze. All in all with a $3 savings from the original price that I didn't ask for I got less food, a headache, and a ruined first thanksgiving tradition. Thanks to Quam and Boston Market.
