Also not getting any updates on my map, and no reply from the company when reached out for support.

Does this company still exist? App doesn't update sand website maps not functioning...

I have had my Boomerang for about 5 years. I had a problem with the charging port about a year ago, so I contacted them. They had me send in the device and they promptly fixed it and returned it. I recently was having issues with communication with the device. We set a time for a phone call and Kevin spent about a half hour helping me to understand how to work with it. Really helped and I appreciate the great customer service.

Boomerang V.2 brings the noise to any potential bike thieves!! The trip mapping and other extras on the app have proven to be helpful as well!

I noticed my Boomerang App was not communicating with the server and I called Kevin at Boomerang and he responded quickly and corrected the problem. I use my Boomerang and utilize the alarm function often which has saved my bike twice.

I have 7 unit fleet account for my rental scooters, and have already had two stolen and recovered successfully !!!

My beloved endurance bike has expensive accessories, lights Garmin and the boomerang. It only took one episode when the alarm sounded and I got a notification while I happened to be dining on a balcony overlooking the bike, I saw a would be thief’s backside as he turned to find an easier target. The easier target without boomerang. As my father said: It’s much easier to avoid trouble than get out of trouble. Boomerang helps avoid trouble you don’t want.

I am thankful to have some peace of mind when using this device. The alarm is loud and will definitely get people's attention. I also really like the GPS tracking part so that if my bike is stolen I can locate it. They are continually working to improve the partner application as well.

We had a great time riding with the kids. We weren’t sure how to hire the bikes and called the guy who was super helpful.

I have two devices, one that works and one that doesn't. So, in principle, great idea. Alas, the company won't help me fix the faulty device (or replace it), and are ignoring my emails.

Do not buy this device, you are likely wasting your money unfortunately.

Kevin Fahrner, the owner of Boomerang Bike Corp, is not to be trusted.
He has been reaching out to me for almost a year trying to buy back the two units I purchased in 2020, that I could never get to work. He offered me $45USD each and said that was all he could afford for the buyback (I purchased them for $120USD each). I finally agreed and he pledged he would send me the money via paypal as soon as they were returned.
I packaged them up, purchased the tracking and sent the two units to Kevin. I confirmed the units arrived 10-days later to his shop. It has now two months in, he still has not forwarded the buyback funds, nor has he answered my emails since the units arrived at his shop.

In concept it’s great. Sadly, the alarm is difficult to turn on and off. The device stops charging after about 6/9 months of use. The subscription is impossible to cancel. Don’t waste your money on this device. They just took the money (mid October) when I asked to cancel in August. Device hasn’t worked since May (2023).

I bought it long time ago but I don’t use it after trial couple months.
He contacted me to return my boomerang device because I don’t use it and they don’t want to manufacture additional devices.
He offered me if I send back the device, he will sent me gift card. So I sent my device back to them but they stop responding my messages.
Of course I didn’t receive any gift card.
I hope people find this page before buying the device.

If I could give minus stars for this company I would, so they should think themselves lucky with me giving one star. I've had this unit for quite a few years now, and all was good until I couldn't ride my bike for a year. I have tried for the past month to reactivate my Boomerang, but it is nigh on impossible. The company have happily taken the monthly subscription from me.

The customer service is totally non existent, and I think you would have better luck finding Lord Lucan still alive than finding a representative.

Please, please, please stay the Hell away from this piece of crap, unless you like messing about chasing down non existent personnel.

It’s such a shame, this product has the potential of being amazing but is unfortunately let down by a buggy application and poor device firmware.
The company are pretty bad when it comes to customer service and appear to have given up on any further development. (2 years since last updated.)
I haven’t used mine on my bike for over a year now as it’s just too unreliable.
Don’t bother unless there is no alternative.

These people are rip off. Artists do not buy from them! BEWARE!

The device needs good conenctivity to operate.
The mobile coverage for the operator they chose is very limited in Scotland, so the device is unusable.
Cannot arm the alarm and at times cannot disarm, so you may end up riding a bike with a siren going.
It is not the odd chance, it happened a few times to me!

I bought a boomerang bike alarm in April 2021. Although it took a couple of weeks to arrive from the US, it was easy enough to set up and the device worked fine until a few weeks ago, when I had difficulties installing the new firmware. It appeared to me that the device and the app were not synchronising. I contacted customer services, (without great expectations) and I have been incredibly impressed by their response. Between us, we tried some troubleshooting, but when that failed to sort the problem out, Boomerang offered to send me a replacement unit. It arrived in less than a week and it is now set up and working. I also renewed the cell plan without any difficulties. The sign of a good organisation is their response when things go wrong. For me, Boomerang's customer service has been exemplary.

I bought from them over a year ago. They always made excuses by saying that the shipment was late. I've never received anything. They are scammers

Has had my order and money since May. One story after another. This company takes your money and just tells whatever. Bad people.
