OK, I have to admit, after 4 months of constant barrage of ads on Facebook, I signed up.
Quite frankly, I find this cumbersome and clunky to use, with a lot of things that could be automated. I purchased 4 modules and still wonder what I bought. I just found a video on how to set up my bookstore. The download simply brought me to one book. I have hesitated to do more since it is so cumbersome. I am a writer, not a techie, and I'd hoped everything I needed would be in one place, so I wouldn't have to spend time searching for a simple how-to for each task at the outset. I would have been happier to leave a Trustpilot review. To be honest, I have not tried support. I will continue to struggle when I have the time and capacity to learn this, but I have a book from another app to get to Amazon. I am a little disappointed; I had high hopes.

The company is very responsive to suggestions and they suggest workarounds when the software doesn't provide a ready answer to a problem. I am very satisfied with tech support and the program as a whole. Well done!

i purchased the BookyAI app from a facebook ad and ive been using it for the last 2 weeks pretty much non stop although im only using local models my local models are designed specifically for long form story book writing. The support team have been great and the updates come almost daily which is great as it shows the team behind BookyAI are really trying to make a great app and they also take suggustions from the users which is rare these days and i really hope they continue

They respond quickly to your support questions. I had a small problem with a billing question. Alexander solved the problem in less than five minutes.

I wasn't impressed at first. I got on a chat complaining to their chat support (it's AI but helpful). It tried to help me, but there was one thing that was really irking me in the app. It said, "If that's a deal breaker I can just refund you." I asked if they intended to fix it and it said yes but he wasn't sure how soon. Honest answer. I figured for the low price for unlimited books I'd hang in there, because it did show some promise but it needed some work.

I posted on their roadmap/wishlist board, requesting 4 different features. They implemented them all, one within 12 hours. They've been posting updates nearly every day, bug fixes, new features, etc., actually two updates on 9-1. I made another suggestion on the roadmap/wishlist yesterday, it's already listed as "In Progress."

BookyAI keeps getting better. I'm glad I didn't back out of the deal. I've cranked out 5 pretty good books (and one reject, lol). There are now 10 custom ePub styles and a design your own option. That alone is worth the cost.

It's not perfect, but they're on it for sure. I paid way more for 3 other apps, one of which was a total rip, the other wasn't impressive. Even the good one can't export as well crafted ePubs as BookAI.

The reason for the 5-stars is simple. Though the app needs some improvement, they're tweaking it daily. They take suggestions and run with them, implementing them faster than any developer I have ever encountered.

UPDATE: To date, I have posted 15 requests for features, improvements and a couple of bugs (most of which were caused by my requests being fulfilled), and only one remains to be implemented.

from day one the support is super responsive and the software is super easy to use. it generate books like a wizard. I am so happy it saves my tons of time. i created 15 books within a day which was not that easy before. I don't need to formate. everything is automated.

I hope it allows users to directly post on KPD and automate the listing process using this software. Thanks alot.

To be honest after 2 or 3 days i requested a refund and all i had was the run around with ai telling me thet submitted a ticket went on for days and i was pulling my hair out. I thought reporting them to uk authorities and contacting my bank for a refund . Something made me hesitate and i though to hell with this lets try working it and produced a couple of books but then realised the images were pay walled, but none the less i carried on AND i produced a few more books paid for image generation and carried on .WELL HERE I AM 72 BOOKS LATER. and realise if you perservere it works i have 72 books on kdp and last month had 1800 plus views . I am over the moon I didnt get refund and I will say this clearly it is one of the Best prog. I use and i got them all from videoexpress to who knows what . i will give them 100 out of 100 No question

It was an awful experience for me!
I contacted support so many times when I was a customer. I was patient, but I kept on receiving the same generic responses. After two weeks of having no luck with the software - by the way, there should have been guidance for people who are absolutely beginners with API keys, as this is needed with this software - and going back and forth, I had to obtain a refund.
It was a waste of time, and I was truly upset with support’s generic and inauthentic support.
The software was buggy. There were hardly any descriptions, and the dashboard was minimal with hardly any guidance.
I received my refund, because I only had it for a couple of weeks, and I was unable to use it at all. It was a complete waste of my time.

Earlier today, it seemed I received an email from the CEO, attempting to explain the lack of support and how some people were slow in receiving their refunds.
I wrote back and informed them I had a negative experience. They then responded with another generic email (of course I'm no longer a client, but why did they write to me?). I then informed them that I had been sent an email. Subsequently, my message was blocked.

In hindsight, it was a one-star experience for me, and it looks like they're trying to clear up their image. No wonder a Reddit comment accused them of being scammers.

Proceed with caution.

I have just started using Bookyai, but so far I am very pleased. It helped me organize my chapters, and I am about ready to publish. I plan on using it again and again. It made turning my Word document into an authentic book very easy.

I've been using BookyAI for a couple of months now and am pleased with the results I have had with the service. I recommend it.

When I purchased BookyAI I was rather skeptical. Upon installing the program it seemed to be another just another idea machine. I had several rough starts trying to get it to assist me with my partial chapters. After contacting support a few times and not giving up I finally got it to work. I actually did a small 10k word short story and it came out great. Since then they have added Audio which again had a few glitches but is working well now. I have not tried the cover generator yet or the newest addition series.
My main concern is continuity between chapters. I find a lot of times if I have not created an ending already or if I allow the writer to go it alone it will repeat parts of the previous chapter in the current chapter. I also find that at times if you ask for it to expand a chapter it will borrow lines from the chapter before or after.

I just want to be clear the program will self write and it does a good job besides the continuity issue above.
I am glad I decided to join when I did and watching this grow has been great. If you want a good program that is getting better and better this is the one.

I have uploaded my own manuscript several times trying to learn BookyAI and other things as a brand new author. I only have one book so far on Amazon KDP and IngramSpark. I wanted to see how BookyAI handled an uploaded manuscript and if it would make my publishing process easier. Every time I had an issue the BookyAI team jumped on it and fixed it and immediately created a new Update. I am pleased to say they have been pretty successful of most all of the problem corrections and deserve credit for currently having much better customer support now and do their best to understand every single issue.
