Total scam. Advertising states next business day dispatch. Incorrect! Received Product, completely unboxed and requested return for the advertised 100% refund. It took multiple emails and images to get a response on how to trigger a refund. They then claimed they could provide a 30% refund, “I’d like to offer you a 30% refund of your purchase price. This way, you won’t need to go through the hassle of returning the product, and you can choose to keep or gift the unused items as you see fit.”

The next email said:

“I've forwarded your order to the Refund Team and once I hear back from them, I will follow-up with you immediately. We appreciate your patience and understanding on this matter.

Reimbursement of funds will be allocated back to the original form of payment used for purchase.”.

It’s been weeks of follow up and now they won’t refund at all.

Watch out for their dodgy advertising.

The product is cheap, plastic, heats up to the point it burns your hands and fingers.

I strongly believe this company is a fraud and a scam. They suggest they are an Australian business/company by referring to an Australian address on their website, using an Australian website and using "Sydney" in their name.

The charges to my account were made internationally (i.e. i was charged international transaction fees) and the items (hair styler and case) were dispatched from China.
The site says express tracked shipping.
An ordinary person would expect the items to be sent via Australia Post (if Aus Company right?) by express post and received in the normal time frames.
Nope. Sent from China and took over 3 weeks to arrive.

Caution - DONOT open the items if you want to attempt to get a refund.

Do NOT comment on their socials negatively, unless you want to be blocked. They deny this, suggesting i need to update the apps or there's a technical issue, but this is a blatant lie.

The reviews HAVE to be fake. I strongly believe all reviews have been selected (negative or neutral reviews excluded) and likely include fake reviews.

I was fooled by the reviews and the appearance of the website. I don't want anyone else to waste their money.

Box came in a plain black box. another false advertisement.

I have taken this to ACCC and informed them of fraud/false advertising.

THE ITEM ARRIVED AND IS EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED. PROMPT SERVICE AND DELIVERY. WORKS WELL AND GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY.

I purchased Two of the airwrap curler styler. And i have to say that I’m impressed. Especially for the price compared to the Dysen airwrap. It does a great job curling your hair. My daughter absolutely loves it. Long lasting curls as well.

Easy to deal with, shipped quickly and price is affordable.
Would have liked to give it as a present to someone but the box comes crushed

This product is not fit for purpose & is not branded Bondicurls Sydney. This is very deceptive & misleading conduct. Save your money & do not buy as the 5-in-1 styler is complete rubbish. The reviews & website are also probably fake or bot generated. I have reported it to the authorities & will take further action if I do not receive a response & a full refund.

Cheap crap direct from China. No branding on product or box, took about two weeks to arrive. Very misleading advertising. You do NOT get exactly what is advertised and when I questioned it they said oh it’s “limited edition packaging” I.e the no branded packaging! Haha. The one thing they ARE good at….deceiving people which is just wrong. Save yourself some money and get it from Ali Express for half the price.

THIS COMPANY is a SCAM!!! Product is terrible and they don't do returns! Don't buy. I'm in the process of reporting them. If you do your research you will see the multiple reports of this company being a scam. Terrible product, does not work!!!!

What a cheap load of rubbish!!! Arrived yesterday, I was excited to use. Well.....nothing rotates!!!!!! Fake curling wands, horrible....I want my money back.

Item isnt what is being advertised. They also dont honor their return process, EVEN IF THE ITEM ISNT USED and still in the box. They ask you to send a video of you using it, after you send photos of the item in the box, but this is so it purposely voids the return policy. But they wont accept a return without showing a video of it being used, so its a catch 22.

They are using fake advertising of being listed in magazines when they actually haven't been mentioned in. You can buy the same item for $40 on aliexpress. The item doesnt even come from australia, and no customer service. its shipped from china.

Product lightweight and feels very cheap to the touch. Immediately started breaking my hair. Nothing on it tells me is a Bondi Curl product. My hair is very thin and easy to style. However Bondi curls didnt curl my hair AT ALL. I have experience with similar products that were easy to use. This product is a waste of money and efforts. I'll be sending it back.

The product was shipped direct from China. It had no "Bondi curls" branding. The product is cheap lightweight plastic, and the fan speed cannot be changed. The returns policy is stringent (DO NOT USE), and customer pays return shipping (not great for a 14-day money back guarantee). Find similar on Temu etc. DON'T BE TAKEN IN BY THE WEBSITE AND BRANDING!

This is a scam company. It says on their website 30 day money back guarantee. Don’t be fooled. The product is made cheaply. And to get your money back, you can’t even touch the product- hygiene purpose! What a scam!!!

Cheap, feels like plastic and very very noisy. Product overheats quickly and fits not work like the videos. Also did not hold curls. Does not come in advertised package and has no branding at all. Product shipped from China and very misleading. Customer service is extremely terrible do deal with and will do anything to not have you return the product and then will tell you that you cannot return the product unless it hasn't been used at all.

Cheap plastic rubbish.Does not curl as the videos would have you believe. The curl actually drops by the time your have done your 3rd or 4th curl. Even using setting spray doesn't work. Product comes out of China, nowhere near Bondi. LOL! I got caught, don't waste your money.

5 in 1 ordered 17th December 2024. Advertised next day express shipping. I am still waiting for product. They are unable to tell me when it will be here or where it is coming from. The site allows you to assume it is coming from Sydney. I think not now. Totally missed for Christmas present. I must say that my emails have been replied to but hasn't got to me any quicker. Won't be buying from them again. I do hope that the styler is a good one and worth the wait. Anyway I think Bondi Curls suck.

The item arrived promptly. The item was packaged well and Bondi Curls updated me regularly throughout the delivery process. I am happy with the product

I was sceptical when it arrived as no company packaging and though oh no scam, but I find the product works really well. I have fine hair. I have never used the Dyson but as a cheap alternative I think this is worth the money. The company is definitely not from SYDNEY.
