Die Installation ist vergleichsweise einfach, das ist positiv.

Leider überwiegen für mich die Nachteile deutlich. Besonders kritisch ist, dass bei entladener oder defekter Batterie das Risiko besteht, dass sich das Schloss von außen nicht mehr öffnen lässt. Für ein sicherheitsrelevantes Zutrittssystem ist das ein gravierender Schwachpunkt.

Auch der Support und die Zahlungsabwicklung sind enttäuschend. Selbst manuelle Überweisungen funktionierten nicht sauber, und statt klarer Lösungen erhält man teils eher Vermutungen als echten Support.

Zusätzlich gibt es derzeit offenbar noch keine Jahresverträge, und das vergleichsweise teure Portal wird monatlich verrechnet. Das macht das Ganze noch unattraktiver.

Im Vergleich wirken Alternativen wie Nuki deutlich professioneller und alltagstauglicher. Unterm Strich für mich leider kein überzeugendes System.

De service is goed, maar het product.. Keer op keer mesjes binnen gekregen waarbij mijn huid (vrij snel) geïrriteerd raakt en wondjes ontstaan. Voorheen altijd een goede ervaring gehad met het product alleen dat is als maar afgenomen. Ik raad dit product niet aan.

Het is een geweldig systeem perfekt Slot anti inbraak met een goede app een clicker die perfekywerkt en met een systeem van afstand bestuurbaar oftewel via de app iemand u buiten staat op afstand openen
Geen sleutel meer nodig want die heb je er niet meer bij alleen met een app die als je in de binnen een korte straal van de cilinder automatisch openend

I am satisfied customer of the bold lock. This lock is clever solution for smartlock, because you do need a key on the inside of the lock and you have to turn the knob yourselves with results in long life time of battery.
We like the notifications of the use and the sharing of door access with family based on time slots.
To my opinion also safer then key, because more difficult to drill the lock from outside.

They are an enthusiastic young company. Questions were dealt with very smoothly. Ordering and shipping went fine. Very good service.

Reason for just 3 stars is that what you buy is not the same as they advertise for on their website. Their promotion movies are made at an earlier stage and talk about options which are currently not available and a remote that doesn't exist.

What does exist is a good product. It works perfectly. Though their website doesn't fully inform you about the pros and cons. I ended up returning my 10 locks because:
1. I expected shiny chrome knobs (read it somewhere) while it turned out to be somewhat rough stainless steel (it didn't match with the door-handles I bought elsewhere)
2. I needed the backup remote control that doesn't exist
3. With half the locks I expect the use to be without a mobile being involved. Up front it was unclear to me that the online registrations do not include activation done from only the doorknob itself. Another minor disadvantage is that it does not register a difference between locking/unlocking.

Very promising though if some improvements are made. I might come back for a version 2 or 3.
