Legit products???
I have been using Sodium Butyrate for many months now, far longer than the minimum 6 weeks that gets mentioned on other replies on their own website and then I read that butyrate absolutely must get to the colon intact to do its job.
There is no mention on the product labelling that this capsule can survive that gastro journey so I asked a question and posted it.
Weeks later my question about the integrity of the capsule has not been posted on their website.
That tells me all I need to know and won't be buying this or any Body Bio product again.
When companies ignore simple, factual queries about their products it is a huge red flag to me.
Update:
So, 2 days later I received an email from BodyBio stating that they have no record of me contacting them etc etc etc.
I didn't "contact" them.
I asked an onsite question and clicked "post".
The question wasn't posted and my 1* review has also not been posted on their website.
The last 1* review they allowed onsite was from 6 months ago!
They explained in their communication to me that the butyrate molecule is encapsulated to survive the stomach and is released into the duodenum.
This is actually an admission of it being released into the wrong area.
It needs to pass through the duodenum to be released into the colon where it feeds the colon cells called colonocytes.
So in their own words their product does not reach the colon.
