I’ll be honest

I’ll be honest: I was about three months away from closing my doors for good. I’ve been in this industry for thirty years, and I was just exhausted by the 'race to the bottom' that the big national wire services forced on us. I was tired of fulfilling orders for $60 that actually cost me $70 to make once you factored in their massive commissions and 'membership' fees. It felt like I was working for them, not my community.
Switching to BloomNation changed the entire math of my business. For the first time in a decade, I’m keeping the vast majority of every dollar that comes in. There are no predatory 'splits' here. But more than the money, it’s the transparency. The 'BloomSnap' feature—where I send a photo of the actual arrangement to the customer before it goes out the door—has basically ended the 'it doesn't look like the picture' phone calls. My customers feel connected to the process, and I feel like a respected business owner again instead of a fulfillment drone.

I was ready to quit because the wire…

I was ready to quit because the wire service fees were eating all my profits. Switching to Bloom Nation was the best decision I've made in twenty years. No more 'split' commissions where I do all the work for half the pay. I get paid what my work is worth, and the 'Bloomsnap' feature has virtually eliminated 'order not as described' complaints. Honest pay for honest work.

Bloomnation = don’t do it - just make a Shopify

Unfortunately they promised the world and fall flat. Their customer service is outsourced so no one you speak to has any capability to really accomplish anything for you. They’re just patronizingly polite and tell you they will get back to you on every inquiry you have. There’s no direct account managers. There’s no direct contact with promenade themselves. I open an account with them and got locked in for 299 a month grow package for a year and I’ve seen absolutely no use or traction. They claim that the websites are SEO optimized but conveniently forget to tell you that you do have to pay/do an abundance of marketing to establish a footprint online so that the SEO optimization can even work to begin in with. They have three packages. It’s basic for 199 grow for 299 and then their social media for 399. Their social media just has them using premade templates from CapCut that just look atrocious and would probably damage your reputation more than help it. In contrast, I know a florist that has been with them for over 10 years now and their experience is much better. They get a bunch of business from them and on their website but if you’re a new florist, you have no shot.

I’ll be honest, I was terrified of the 'digital age.' I’ve been running my shop for twenty years with a pen and paper, and every web company I talked to made me feel like I needed a degree in computer science just to change a price. I was so tired of the old way of doing things—paying huge fees to wire services that didn't care if my business survived or not. Joining the BloomNation family changed that. It’s more than just a website; it’s a community. I love that I can connect with other real local florists for out-of-town orders, knowing the quality will be there. Finally

Finally, a platform that doesn't force me to sell those generic, dated wire-service designs! BloomNation lets me showcase my style and my unique floral art. My customers love the sleek checkout process, and I love that I don't have to deal with those crazy high commissions. It’s given my little boutique a national-level presence without losing the local feel. If you want to sell your own designs and keep more of your money, this is the only way to go.

We made the switch to BloomNation’s POS and website platform last year and the ROI has been undeniable. The most significant game-changer for us has been the SEO. We used to spend a fortune on Google Ads just to compete with the big order-gatherers, but now we’re ranking organically for our local area. The 'BloomSnap' feature is also a huge hit with our customers—sending a photo of the actual arrangement before it goes out has virtually eliminated 'it didn't look like the picture' complaints. Do not trust!

Ordered $80+ worth of birthday flowers. Never delivered. Come to find out the florist is out of business and has been for months! Multiple people have complained about this issue. Very poor business practice to charge money to customers for a closed business. Are you kidding?
