Black Tulip Studio is a founder-led premium footwear brand designing elegant, comfortable everyday shoes for real women's wardrobes. We were founded in 2023 by Sonam Joshan, a fashion designer who married into a family with three generations of shoe-making heritage — and still couldn't find a pair that was elevated, comfortable, and honestly priced all at once. So she made one herself. That combination is what sets us apart: a fashion designer's eye for how women actually get dressed, paired with decades of production knowledge most brands can only outsource and hope for. Every pair is designed around real wardrobes and real days, not catwalk trends. Our core collections — Arbi, Willow, and Cassava trainers and sneakers — are built on three things we won't compromise on: quality you can feel immediately, design for real life, and honesty about what things cost. We'd rather you buy one great pair and wear it for years than three average ones you stop reaching for. Any unsold stock goes to Smart Works, a UK charity helping unemployed women prepare for job interviews. We operate as a slow-fashion, direct-to-consumer brand out of our design headquarters in London, with drops released on a preorder system so we produce only what's genuinely wanted — reducing overproduction and overconsumption along the way.Leggi di più
