Exceptional GPU repair work – they achieved what others said couldn’t be done

I genuinely cannot praise Blackstone highly enough.

My RTX 5090 suffered a serious failure involving fire damage. Given the value of the card, I initially sent it to a specialist repair company in the UK. They dismantled and assessed it but ultimately told me that it could not be repaired.

I wasn’t prepared to give up on such an expensive GPU, so I started looking further afield and eventually found Blackstone.

What they have achieved is remarkable.

Rather than simply attempting a conventional board repair, they carried out an extremely complex transplant using a donor card. The GPU has now been successfully brought back to life and is being correctly recognised as an RTX 5090, with the full 32GB of GDDR7 memory, 512-bit memory interface, PCIe 5.0 x16 connection and the correct shader configuration all showing properly.

For context, this was a card that another professional repair company had already written off.

What impressed me most was their willingness to take on a genuinely difficult repair rather than simply saying it was uneconomical or impossible. The level of technical skill required to diagnose the failure, source or use a suitable donor board and successfully carry out this type of transplant is far beyond normal electronics repair.

If you have a high-value graphics card that has suffered serious damage, especially one that other repair companies have rejected, I would strongly recommend speaking to Blackstone before giving up on it.

Businesses with this level of specialist knowledge deserve to succeed. I suspect they are going to become very well known in the GPU repair community if they continue producing results like this.

Absolutely mind blowing experience, I am lost for words how amazing this service for fixing cpu pins was, so my back story is a friend of mine 2 years ago gave me 3 x faulty bent pins AMD Zen 3 cpus, the 5800X3D, 5700X and 5900X, the multiple pins were really bent on each CPU and I tried my best to straighten but could not fix them, so I gave up and put them away in a bag stored, then I started a new online venture in the last few months of building gaming pcs and selling them on ebay, so I went through my bag and found these cpus and was wondering if there is a service to fix cpus so funnily I asked Chatgpt and it recommended Blackstone Repair, so I sent an email with picture of all three cpus so to see if he can fix them, he said he should be able to, anyway i sent him the cpus and he got all three working, this business works miracles, the service was seamless in sending the cpus and receiving them back, top service and customer service was on another level, they were responsive and answered all my questions and concerns, I have now put the 5800X3D in a build and it works perfectly fine, this business has real expertise in what they do and within less than a week of me talking to them sending cpus they fixed them the same morning they received it and posted them back to me. I cannot emphasise enough how good they are. I hope they are a huge success and best wishes to them.
