It’s expensive and is (usually) worth it.

We go to the one at 5447 W Loop 1604 N, San Antonio, TX 78253 and we usually have a great experience. There is a server at this location who really notices when the kitchen messes up my food. Having MCAS, this is so very important to my entire day.

The food quality is not as reliable on my stomach as it once was, so I deducted a star.

Some of the meat and dairy has been tasting off lately. My biggest gripe about any restaurant is when they start making changes to save money but do not tell their customers. People can get sick from the substitutions and that is an issue.

I’m not saying that’s what they are doing but it most certainly tastes like it. That and I’ve developed the inability to eat some of the foods I used to there a few months ago.

Terrible experiences with Rewards Services team

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience regarding a bonus gift card from BJ's Restaurants. The gift card did not work when I attempted to use it, which was both embarrassing and frustrating.

Multiple emails had been sent to the Rewards Services team explaining the situation.

Despite explaining the situation and providing the necessary details, no meaningful resolution has been offered. The lack of accountability and urgency in addressing what should be a straightforward issue is concerning.

If this matter is not resolved within the next two weeks, I will have no choice but to pursue legal action.

High priced

Very high priced. The service is not so bad but prices are too high. I tried nachos and drinks taste is satisfying but priced too high, we really became disappointed.

Colleen is the BEST

Colleen is the BEST! We have been to BJ’s three times, I was hesitant to return as the food and wait staff did not call to me to return. Colleen got you another returning patron! Of course, asking for Colleen!
She listened, answered questions and service was 150%. She was not only kind, but helpful. She is pure joy for Golden’s BJ’s!
Wait staff at BJ’s in Boulder could really use lessons from her on how to make the patron’s dining a delightful, engaging experience while giving full top notch service!
She walks the talk with energy and a smile.

Nachos were bad

Nachos were very, very sad. One of the worst dishes I’ve seen. Two cubes of chicken obviously not fresh but definitely manufactured in bulk.

Got the boneless chicken wings. more like chicken nuggets, food, and debris all over the floor
Won’t be going back anytime soon

Sunday dinner date

I took my son here for our Sunday Mom, Son dinner date, and initially everything was going well. After my son admitted he didn't like the pot stickers (which were doughy), I suggested wings, and our food came looking delicious and ready to eat. However, once we received our food, minus the condiments my son asked for, arrived, it seemed our waitress suddenly checked out on us. I sat patiently tried to gain the attention of any staff members for boxes, the bill and to check that my additional to go order was placed unsuccessfully. When our waitress returned she informed me she forgot, and would place it then (never mind I asked her to put it in when our food came). We sat waiting on our to go order, boxes and the bill for over 20+ mins unnecessarily. It seemed once we were served, her job was done, and although I feel as though she had unconsciously checked out on us, I don't know what could have distracted her, and we were attended to by other waitstaff. I gave a generous tip as I ALWAYS do, nonetheless, I won't be returning to this establishment anytime soon.

Sat at the bar for happy hour

Sat at the bar for happy hour. Ordered octoberfest beer and bartender told us they were out. My wife ordered avacado rolls and the came back and said they were out. We ordered the sliders and took 45 minutes after a few inquiries why it was taking so long. They answered in a couple of minutes which was not true. Staff standing around taking

One Of Our Favorite Spots

Irvine, CA location is one of our favorite dining spots. The food is delicious and the staff is friendly, professional and efficient. We’ve been customers of this location going on 8 years now and have had no complaints or problems. Standouts are Riley, Bradi, Alex, Amber, Kiley, Kera and Cam just to name a few. Until anything changes this will remain one of our frequent eating establishments. I recommend the French dip and their pizza is fantastic; plus it’s a great place to catch a game.

What an amazing experience

What an amazing experience. Jake M, our server was amazing! Very happy person and smiles the whole time! Food was hot when we received it and he kept the drinks full. Also a shout out to the Kitchen Staff...the food was amazing! Thank you for a great evening!

Disaster Meal

We made a reservation for Mother's Day and it was a disaster. First off, I get that is a busy day and completely understand delays. BUT, ordered drinks and then our food. After waiting over an hour, the first 4 plates came out. After another 20 minutes all of the remaining except 2 plates came out. The waitress was super nice and kept apologizing for delays. After another 30 minutes of waiting the waitress walked out and quit. Then we had to chase down a manager to get our remaining food. She offered dessert on her. We ordered 4 desserts and waiting another 30 minutes and they never came out. We just walked out and left since we had already paid the full bill for our meals. It was terrible and not a pleasant experience at all. do know that other tables walked out because they never got all their food either.

Bad experience

we arrived 12 me wife grandson and son birthday lunch are menu was dirty food left over stuck on it were had to ask for drinks to order it took ten minutes to get it we order ask for high chair then order nachos with steak it took over 20 for app come out and steak was raw sent back we ask manger came to table was argue with me about steak not raw I’m cook I know my temps bro dude had attitude you’re manger don’t eat there and I still paid my bill waste money

My Coach prescription glasses and case were stolen off the table on Christmas Eve 2023 at BJ's at Shackleford Crossing in Little Rock. Worst dining experience of my life. We spent $240 and received absolutely awful service with the server constantly coming by and saying "gotta get out of here. it's Christmas Eve, and never even refilling my water or other drinks, and I had nothing to drink the whole time I ate. Asparagus was skinny like spaghetti and very tough and impossible to chew. My husband couldn't even eat but 2 bites of his Philly Cheesesteak. They brought out our appetizer long after we began our entrees. They drowned my daughter-in-law's salad with boiled eggs making it inedible. Because the service was abhorrent, for the first time in my life I believe, I refused to leave a tip. Someone left a few dollars on table. The server was aghast when he looked at the charge with no tip left for him. I immediately missed my $400 glasses when I got to car, but the door was already locked. I called back in 2 days when they reopened...and every day since...to see if my prescription glasses were turned in to no avail. Beware there is a thief working there, the worst service I have ever received, and mostly very sub-par food. I have offered an $80 reward for the thief to come forward and return my glasses or for someone who knows about it to report it. I have a very good idea who stole them. None of us will ever set foot in that place again unless it is to pick up my stolen glasses. Watch all your belongings if you do.

I came into BJ’s with a friend a…

I came into BJ’s with a friend a couple weeks ago for the first time and we sat at the bar for happy hour. The service was horrible. The pizza was good but it didn’t have enough sauce. The bartender bought me more sauce, but it came out cold. He was in a hurry to leave And didn’t give us good service. I came in today and I met Denise. She smiled and welcomed me and told me my carryout will be ready shortly. We had a really nice conversation and I appreciate her talking to me while I was waiting. My pizza came out so amazingly good. I ordered sausage and onion and she asked me what kind of onions. I thought that was awesome. She is an asset to your restaurant. Seriously I’ve been in the restaurant business for over 40 years and Denise is definitely one of the best in biz. Thank you for having her at the front. Her smile is contagious too. I will be back because of her.
