Over Two months of asking for a price on two velux windows black out blinds. I was phoning landlines and mobile. Left many messages and spoke to someone twice who would always say we will call you back but never did. I GAVE UP. John in Bray.

Hi John, apologies for the delay in getting back to you. I want to give full context for anyone reading this. The pricing for the Velux blackout blinds themselves is already available on our website, so this wasn’t simply a case of not providing a price. Your query was specifically about whether the motorised blinds could integrate with your smart hub, which is a more technical compatibility question. To answer that properly, we had to check what RF signal the blind motor and remote system uses. And whether that could connect directly to your smart hub or might need a third-party bridge or router. That’s why we reached out to our motor supplier and other third-party vendors. We haven’t received final confirmation from them yet, so we weren’t in a position to give you a definite yes or no. That said, we should have kept you better updated during that wait, and I apologise for that. But I do want to be clear that this wasn’t a straightforward pricing enquiry. The delay related to additional technical checks for your specific smart hub requirement.

Ordered blinds, very good price in comparison to window manufacturers option - blinds arrived very quickly, exactly what we wanted, installation of blinfs onto the skylight was quick and straightforward. Recommend this supplier!

Amazing Customer Service!!!!!
There are honestly not enough words I can write here to show my gratitude!!! We ordered 2 large solar blinds for our extension and as promised they arrived by the due date………then the amazing customer service kicked in even more. I was confident I could fit the blinds myself as it was only 4 screws per blind, but I just couldn’t get them to fit.
In a panic I WhatsApp’d Neil on Sunday evening asking for help & offering to pay for the installation.
Neil was at our house the next morning, fitted the blinds with ease & totally refused to take payment for the fitting!!!!
He was just happy that we were happy.
In a society where people don’t help other people it was a totally brilliant thing for him to do. 10/10 for amazing customer service……..Thank you Neil!!! (Dave & Karen)

Gerat velux blind and very easy to fit
I bought a velux blind and it arrived very quickly, I was able to fit it in less than 10minutes thanks to the video on the website and the instructions it came with, and best of all it looks great.
