I am using this service since 5 months my experience has been great. Overall the Birmingham payments is good providing fast service. Its a Touch Pax A920 Pro Payments card machine its fast processing with payments.

My overall experience is great with this software as it uses data driven approach which helps me in taking my decisions on basis of evidence and make me confident enough. The team is patient and supportive in all cases. I can keep check on my sales on daily basis. 5 star for this and highly recommended, Specially for Retailers.

My overall experience at Birmingham payments is great whenever I have contacted the support team they cooperate with me so well, And I always receive my deliveries on given time. Its very reliable and good Quality product.

No customer service support or care

No customer service support or care. Avoid this company. I want to speak to someone and never get any call back. Do not use its a poor company with no customer care. I want service not inconviance. They trap you in a contract even though they say you can exit.

Stay clear of this company

Stay clear of this company! Customer service may as well not exist and they will take more money from your account than agreed.

I cannot express how unpleasant this company is to deal with.

There are many other options out there just do some research.

Cowboy Setup

Our experience with this company has been extremely disappointing. We waited almost a month for our first payout after switching to XEPay in December with Xonder as the merchant. The second payment took another two weeks, which is far from acceptable for any payment processor.

We originally signed up on a 1% transaction fee with no monthly charges, but over just five weeks they suddenly increased fees to anywhere between 1% and 7% without warning or justification. That alone is a major red flag.

Customer support is practically nonexistent. They only offer WhatsApp support, which they never respond to, and they also ignored our email. For a company handling payments, this level of communication is unacceptable.

In short: unreliable payouts, unexpected fees, and zero customer service.
My advice: avoid this cowboy setup.

Very poor service

Very poor service, customer service is a joke to get through to someone it can take days. You call waiting for someone to answer waited like 15mins and call dropped. You msg on WhatsApp and you just get passed on that msg on this number msg on that number. Managing the system can only be done on till not on laptop not even back office so not good. Rubbish system cannot wait for contract to end. Epos now is the best used them before and are much better then this Xepay

XE PAY is dishonest crook deceiving cow boy company, who employ third class dishonest sale team who to get contract lie to you. they tell you your contract is monthly and any time with month notice customers can cancel it but when customer like to cancel with month notice they been told sorry you can not cancel because without you knowing it becomes 18 months contract,,,,,.lie .... lie.... shamful

Scam company

I signed a 12-month contract with XEPAY on 16 July 2024.

In June 2025, I sent them a message asking when my contract would expire. They replied that my contract would end on 15 November 2025, which I already found confusing — I didn’t understand why they said it would expire in November when the contract I signed was clearly for 12 months.

Then, in October, I informed them that I intended to leave. However, they told me that my contract had already “expired” and that the correct end date was 15 July 2025, requiring at least 14 days’ notice before termination. They also claimed they did not receive my notice, so they automatically renewed my contract for another 18 months.

But I have proof that I contacted them in June to confirm my contract end date, and now they refuse to acknowledge it.

Honestly, I feel like XEPAY might be running some kind of scam, because their explanations keep changing, and they seem to use confusing terms and renewal conditions to trap customers into longer contracts

Now, I’m genuinely worried that when 2027 comes, if I want to leave them again, it still won’t be easy for me to terminate the contract.

Not sure they are the best choice anymore.

After many years of using the service I have finally needed some assistance and I cannot get any help.
eMails get ignored and when I call they either hang up or it is such a poor connection I cannot hear them.
Does not sound like I am calling the UK.

I have had a malfunctioning card terminal and not used for months, they have been taking double payments from me every month that I would like justified and have the nerve to say my account is overdue, it appears to me they owe me money.

I am now looking in to closing my account and even that doesn't appear to be easy.

There is Zero options to do anything on their portal and I cant even unlink my own bank account.

Poor customer service and there has been many times I can say this has been the case.

Sales went through every card terminal and all the systems they integrate with, helped me select one and helped me choose a plan that suited my financial needs, received it within 1 day, helped me set it up the next and haven’t had an issue yet, also they done me a tasty deal on receipt roll! Splendid!

The card terminals are great

The card terminals are great, good quality and processing speeds are more or less instant.
The sales team were very helpful and great support team to assist me.
Great feedback on my side and i would order another through xepay if i need in future

I've had a great first experience with…

I've had a great first experience with xepay 😃
From start to finish the staff have been great at their job and made me feel very comfortable with ordering with them.
I have my card machine set up in my cafe and it is working perfectly. Transactions go through very quick and I get paid out into my account the very next day.
The rates are also very good compared to other providers I asked.
Overall I would say I made the right choice for my business for going with xepay and hopefully it carries on like this 🙂
