I received an offer for the car I wanted to sell. After agreeing with Bilhuset Danmark by mail on the price, I was requested to bring the car to a 1st garage, where the car was assessed. I was then requested to bring the car to a second garage, 35 km away. This process took more than a week. The garage (Hillerød AutoCenter) then used a false pretext, that the car was using a bit of engine oil (which is normal in limited proportions), to propose 25.000 kr less than the agreed price.
I tried to reach out to Bilhuset Danmark but the person did not reply for more than 1h. I tried to go to the address on the website: nothing there! Finally the person called me and denied any responsibility, arguing that there might be an issue with the car. I have reported this website to the Danish police, as it is clearly a coordinated scam to force buyers to decrease the price last minute.
