First off, the game we bought was really good (Herd Mentality) but the reason for this review was the customer service. I had an issue with one of the parts in the game (the pink cow to be accurate) but this wasn’t the products fault but mine (long story). Contacted the customer service to see if I could get a replacement and they were brilliant, fast response and sure enough, a replacement was sent. I love great customer service, support this firm, they deserve it.

This is my first experience with this company. I had an issue that I felt would potentially affect their reputation so I e-mailed to explain the situation.
I had a very quick response from Kenna, which in itself ,impressed me. It transpired that the mistake was mine and within a few minutes everything was clarified.

Feeling really disappointed. I placed an order over a week ago — my first time buying from them. I was going to use a big online retailer with free next-day delivery, I’m sure we can guess which one, but I thought no, I’ll support the business and buy direct. Honestly, I wish I hadn’t now.

I was impressed at first with the ordering process and the confirmation emails, but once my parcel didn’t arrive, it was frustrating. It’s been difficult to get any follow-up, and the only way to contact them is by email.

The order was a birthday present and it still hasn’t arrived.
Such a shame, because this experience has completely put me off ordering again.

Bought 'P is for Pizza' game on 26th August. Was informed the delivery was first of all going to be late, then notified that it was not being delivered at all as it was damaged in transit! Trying to contact Big Potato Games is difficult. Submitted a complaint several times on their website & by email, but no idea if they are receiving the requests.

To be fair to BP, they followed up quickly to resolve my issue and have listened to my consumer feedback, so I am happy with them now.

From their ads to their customer service, online support and products, this company delivers!!!
The best of all are the games! Fun, travel friendly, engaging, great for all ages of the family and an entire night of great togetherness playing their games!!
I've bought their games over the last few years for my nephews, parents and friends! I've travelled with their games and used on holidays, planes trains and automobiles. I can't like them enough! Excellent customer service that more than exceeded our expectations!! We requested replacement cards for a game that we use often as they had accidently been damaged. We were grateful to be told a new set of cards was on its way to us at no cost to us at all. When the parcel arrived it was a complete new game, not just the cards. Thank you so much, we are very grateful and the game has already been played since we recieved it a few days ago.

We have loads of Big Potato games and every one is awesome. Our favourites include Chameleon (Best Game Ever!), Chicken Vs Hot Dog, Obama Llama and Tilt and Shout

I think I own around 30 big potato games with my favourite one being “don’t get got” - the game can last DAYYYYS and you forget your even playing the game which makes it even funnier. Favourite family game would have to be you can’t say umm… this game has us all dying of laughter. Love the creativeness of BPG 💖

Anyway, I recently purchased some expansion packs for don’t get got and some other bits such as the cards against gravity game. I emailed customer service shortly after I’d placed my order to state that I had forgot to add the new turtle game using my discount - resolution provided however I didn’t end up placing the additional order. Few days later, Amazon delivery confirmed my order was lost - I reached out to BPG customer service who offered me a replacement - LOW AND BEHOLD, the replacement included the turtle game - they’ve read my history and sent it out alongside my replacement. What a customer delight moment 💖

I order a card game that i had enjoyed with friends. Amazon was the delivery service and they completely messed it up. Big potatoe games have now sent out another card game free of charge to me. Great customer service!

We had bought chicken vs dog awhile ago and have so many laughs playing this game, unfortunately my little one lost most of the game cards. I emailed customer services to see if I could purchase replacement cards. They were fantastic in replying quickly, said they would be sending some free of charge. A few days later I got a parcel, it was a whole new game and a potato plush!
Customer service is 5* and we love the games. Also recently purchased sounds fishy 🐟 the whole family have had so much fun playing these over the holidays. Would highly recommend these games.

Updated: We had a lot of shipping and communications issues. After a couple weeks I did receive a refund and they are shipping the game free of charge due to the trouble. It was a frustrating experience, but probably not their norm. I'm not sure what happened with my order, but I will give them the benefit of the doubt that it was a fluke!

We bought the Riddle Pics Food Edition game but encountered an issue with the scratch off panels. I emailed the Customer Services team to explain and they were so apologetic and offered to send a replacement.
3 days later we received a package, they had not only replaced the game but upgraded it to the puzzle version alongside 2 'Potato Club' badges and 2 cuddly 'tatas' for the kids, which they love!
They can't wait to get started on the puzzle. Great games as always and 5 star customer service. Thanks guys!

I bought the 'Ransom Notes' game. It looks really fun, but I haven't played it yet because it's going to take me forever to separate out all the magnetic pieces and I've actually already managed to break one when trying to do so. The game should come with the pieces pre-separated - would have been pretty embarassing if I'd brought it to a friend's house without realising it wasn't ready to play.

Edit: updating my review because this game is SUPER fun.

Silly me managed to lose a piece for my game of What Next?. Contacted their team and got put through to Gustav. They sorted it so quickly. Asked me what piece was missing and has go it out to me in record time!

My daughter bought us Ransom Notes as our Christmas game. We played it so much over Christmas that a few of the words parted company with the magnetic strips. We lost a few too, but we enjoyed the game so much we contacted Rosie at Big Potato to see if we could buy some more words. Replacements turned up today! Brilliant service, thanks Rosie & Big Potato you are definitely our first choice for games in the future.

Have a few of Big Potato games titles in our gaming repertoire. They are the go to games for a laugh and a good time. Never been let down by them. However. Experienced some issues with the new online games over Christmas. Wrote an email to them to explain the issues and our surprise of the poor execution and there response has been absolutely amazing. It’s refreshing to see a company that takes the opinions of its customers seriously! Hope the issues are ironed out soon!!

Game city didnt work, keeps throwing you out. Completely unusable.

We own a fair few of the Big Potato Games products and I have always been pleased with my dealings with the company. This review is a shout out to Gustav in their customer service team - very impressed by the prompt reply and options to deal with the issue I raised. In an age of weak customer service where companies seem to employ customer service staff to put hurdles in your way in the hope that you will give up and go away (yes Virgin Media and John Lewis you're on that list) Big Potato games deserve a gold star!
