My review sounds similar to those preceding mine. Went through sales, put a down payment, and then was sent to the "Success Team". Could not get a building license number from them, which is required in my state. The website said they build in my state when I plugged in the zip code. After months of leaving messages and given the run around, I started over with another company, and requested a refund for my deposit. After another couple of months of waiting, someone in the Cancellations Department emailed me (there is no phone number, of course), and said I could not get a refund, but will allow credit. I asked them why would I want credit from a place that gave me the shaft for the last 5 months? My new building was already up.
Still haven't heard anything from them. They never answer calls, and never return calls when you've left messages.
Total BS.
Zero stars if I could.
There are much better companies out there that won't rip you off. Wish I had read the reviews before proceeding.

After months of back and forth (and price changes) I finally put down my deposit. BBD chose an installer (American Steel Carports) that was unqualified and difficult to work with. After both parties refused to show proof of liability insurance, I had no choice but to cancel my project. Currently waiting for my refund, and I'm extremely disappointed in the entire process.

The salesman manzela Fleming can't give you a straight answer about anything. Do your homework to find hidden or non disclosed charges that could be added to your initial low quote. Things like you will possibly need to púrchase drawings of garage at a cost of 1600.00. To 2000.00. and possible equipment rental not included. And also sales tax they don't tell you about

BUYER BEWARE! My wife and I put a deposit of around $4000 down with Big Buildings Direct to have a workshop built in our backyard. After speaking with our township, we did not meet impervious coverage requirements to have the workshop built on our lot. We sent Big Buildings Direct a cancellation request, sent them our denied government permits as they required, and we were within the 90 days cancellation window and they fell SILENT. Zero communication since then, because they feel entitled to our money when no resources were allocated to this project, no project date set or reserved, and we received NOTHING from them. Our Rep Bill Alexander told us on the phone it was easy to cancel and we'd get a full refund if for any reason we couldn't move forward. Of course they only care about the sale and not helping their customers. As business owners ourselves, Big Buildings Direct's actions are shameful and negligent of their civil duties.

Excellent from sales to installation.
Tucker Fine, sales rep. was superb from get go, and he stayed with us the entire process.
American Steel, who processed the order was also professional and great to work with. Pricing was reasonable and upfront.
The installation team was prompt, professional and disciplined from the moment they arrived. It took about 5 hours to complete the project. Juan Jose, and his crew deserve a special shout out for a job well done.
After permits were pulled, the entire process went flawlessly. Our building is 16x22 with a 4/12 pitch, and a 10’ roll up door. The structure is solid, and also nice looking from the road. We highly recommend Big Buildings Direct to work with as they deliver what they promise!!

My building was completed in may 2023
its has leaked from rain since day 1 on all windows and doors , doors where scratched and dented from construction .
I have been asking for help or repairs since May .
I spoke with a woman named Laura that said she would get back to me and never has and wont take or return my calls now !
about 2 month ago the 14 ft door came off the tracks from wind , I called and asked for help from them and again no help . I have had to handle all repairs my self now as i have to complete my project . Big build direct has been no help at all ,not even with touch up paint .
I am building 2 more property's with buildings but I will not use Big buildings direct ,thats for sure !!!

The building leaks from the window and all sides and under the door.
The owner suggested it the concrete wasn't level and we should seal it. Part of the agreement before they installed was that concrete pad be level which was verified by their crew and I have pictures of the floor with a level on it and there are no uneven points. We sealed it yet it still leaks. Water runs down the window when it rains and has soaked everything in my garage. Don't buy these buildings, they ARE NOT WATERPROOF!
