Totally done with this cheating site, wasted 353 bids on a 300 item that went for 26.17, when items costing over a 1400 went for 1.42

There was a reserve of 9.00 that one name reached virtually by themselves, once the reserve was reached that name dropped out and the bidding started with different names including me,names changed apart from 1 other one and me, soon as i dropped out that name did as well and 1 of the new names that had come in won straight away.

So yes its rigged and its not the first time i noticed it.

I was surprised to see the quality and size of the jewelry. Not at all what I expected.

Couldn't be better than Winning! You accumulate points even if you are losing (or lost) the auction item you want! Your points add up until you have enough of the correct amount you desire to purchase an item you want from the online store....and no shippping fee either! I used some of my points for Christmas Girfts from well known companies, and the shipping was fast and the items well wrapped. It's a no lose ....so take a try at it....you won't be disappointed!

I have a mixed feeling about bids.com penny auction. On one hand it is the hazard junkies heaven, a little addictive site with a possibility to win big. On the other hand, it's impossible to win big, so you would be left with the prize money to choose from very unappealing, but expensive items.

The prize money should not be called the bidspoints, because there are NOT bids points. Actually one prize money point is equal ( or close to) $1, while a bid point is equal $0.33. This is not explained clearly on the site.

Also, in one of my bidding wars, I noticed that different people have been bidding against me in a sequential matter. In other words, I was always bidding with one person at any given time. Once that person stopped bidding, another person came, and my bids alternated with just one person again.... as though they knew that current bidder just stopped to bid. If they didn't know, I would expect to see at least 3 people bidding. It could be coincidence, but it spooked me a little.

It is great to learn that bids.com management is closely monitoring the reviews. After all, the company image is very important. Unfortunately I have to take another star from my review, because the same management have no time for customer support.

Last week I called twice to ask when my order (placed and paid on January 4) will be shipped. First time the nice customer service representative told me that he needs to contact another departament and he would call me back( or email) within 20 hours. Of course, nobody contacted me, so I called again to learn that the money I won will be shipped on Friday ( January 27th), which did not happen. I try to call today (Monday, January 30th) numerous times with no success.

Incidentally, this is a penny auction, when all the items got at least one bid. But bids.com ( which is part of bidz.com) is auctioning items that are NOT in house, as though they (bids.com ) expect some items to have no winners... I wonder if this is a red flag for the fraud department, which is a part of the company itself anyway.

There are changes that I find sort of confusing because I have to adapt. I am referring specifically to the penny bidding. Prices have gone up, but I guess everything else has also. I still think it's fun to look at the items that are presented

Automatic bidder was quirky and I lost an auction before I could add more bids. I think it would be helpful to be able to set autobidder quicker.
