I got 'scammed', or let's say 'tricked' by using a legitimate QR code on a parking machine to arrange payment for the parking. To be more precise: to download a parking app. Next to the legitimate lin... Leggi di più

Clever Scam spotted by bank
Clever Scam spotted by bank, paid £1 to verify some sort of music membership, next thing my bank calls to say they are trying to take £39.99 out of my bank. Same as everyone else.
Same as all the other folk
Same as all the other folk , seemed to be diverted automatically from the known site I was using . Silly me I thought I was more streetwise. Then like others 39.99 flies out of my bank . My bank sorted everything out for me I’m glad to say
It's a scam
It's a scam. I tried to order a drink on an LNER train using the qr code for the buffet car (I have used this facility several times before and had no problem). I paid the £1 registration fee assuming it would be deducted from my bill. I couldn't get any of the menu links to work, queried it at the buffet car, then found I had been scammed. Assume a dodgy qr code overlaid on the correct one diverted me to this scammers website. I froze my card immediately before they could get their hands on the £39.99 per month for their music subscription service I definitely hadn't signed up to. Criminals!
Wanted to buy a poppy by card
Wanted to buy a poppy by card, site writing very small, hadn't realised the small print implications. £1 went out of my account and I thought no more until a few days later. Then noticed a further £39.99 was taken. Went to my bank and got them to prevent further transactions to this company. Feel bad about RBL who are obviously using this company to front part of their charity collections team.
I too was scammed
I too was scammed. After 3 payments i spotted what was happening and reported it to my bank, who stopped further payments. Today I got an email from Bevod saying they were sorry i had unsubscribed. I replied that they had scammed me, and they claimed that I had filled in an application on line and received a confirmation email, which I very much doubt. They offered however to refund half what I had paid them as a "goodwill gesture".
Complete scam
Complete scam. Got taken in the same as everybody else. Saw transaction for £39.99 stopped my card immediately. Waiting to here if I will get a refund.

Dirty Dogs
They got me and I'm not sure how,I lost my business last yr due to breast cancer I now have minis in my account. How do I unsubscribe when I didn't subscribe in the first place, Halifax fraud are not giving me my money back cos they said I tick the terms and conditions box which I must've but not knowing it was for bevod.
SCUM taking money from old people who…
SCUM taking money from old people who knows nothing about any of it ...asking for them to prove themselves taking £1 out then hitting them with £39.99 scum of the earth ...this day and age when people can hardly pay for heating and food ...this person behind this scam is low life .....
Irritating scam
Irritating scam. It's an overlay scam, you put your details into another service to set up an account and your details are used to subscribe you to this service.
But by now you know this. Hope you get your dosh back.
I bought a smart watch and the BEVOD…
I bought a smart watch and the BEVOD app came up as a part of the registration, complete scam, £1 pre authorisation was taken and today I find a further 39.99 debited.
Criminal
BE WARNEDI
I am the same as other people. They hit me via what appears to be an 'overlay' system. I went into what I thought was a query code to access the caravan club uk. No mention on pages that I wasnt in the caravan club and i gave my debit card details. It starts off with Bevod taking a £1. Within a few days theyve now taken another £2 despite changing my debit card with bank so they are into my bank account. Trying to block them by reporting it to Bank (Nat West) but they cant give me details of how long it will take to investigate before they block these people from my account. Terrible. BE WARNED.
Scam
Scam which caught my mother out while signing up for a parking app. Seems they place an overlay over an official company page when signing up, then establish a charge for £39.99 a month. Contact the bank to block transactions.
SCAM
These scammers are able to have a pop up payment page appear when you open or use legitimate apps.
They scam you into making a payment for £1.00 to confirm your account. It appears that you are confirming the legitimate app, but in reality you are signing up to the scammers. They then give you 5 days free trial to a streaming service. If you don't cancel it's $39.99 per month.
Beware, you cannot unsubscribe. Your only recourse is to contact your bank immediately and get them to block these scammers.
Monitor your account in case they try taking payment under a slightly different name.
SCAM
Was using the App smart switch to xfer phone the App infiltrated the smart switch App. I thought was part of smart switch and paid the £1.00. When I realised what I had done I tried to cancel but the cancel button on the email they sent is greyed out. I Contacted the bank immediately to block these scammers taking any future payment.
Beware of Bevod Club Scam - zero Srar company
I used this service to Check out a company which had taken a £1 payment from my bank account and subsequently sent me an email saying that if I did not cancel my subscription in five days they would claim 39 dollars a month. I tried to cancel using the facility button on the email but this did not work. I contacted my bank who will change my card and put an alert on my account, so any future attempt to take a payment will be refused. Bevod infiltrated my bank details when I was signing up for a Parking App (Ringo). Tell everyone to be aware of this. It is apparently not the only company’s where Bevod Club are infiltrating. Bevod is a total Scam I was giving trust pilot 5 stars not Bevod.
Scam artist
I’m afraid I’ve fallen for the scam, I don’t want them taking anymore of my money.
If you are reading this you must also have been caught out
One star suggests these scammers are actually worth awarding anything to. Truly filthy business practice. My story is the same as everyone elses. Unfortunately if you are reading this you have no doubt also been caught out by them.
SCAM!
SCAM!! Same experience as others have reported. I was signing up for an account on a retailers app, when up popped the page requesting email and payment details. It looked like it was part of the app, I was tired and caught unawares.
Why would payment details request page be the first page anyone sees about a company if it was legitimate (which Bevod are attempting to suggest to me that they are).
I have reported to my bank. Bevod say they have cancelled my subscription (I also requested my bank to put a stop on it), but won't refund because I signed up to their ts and Cs!! What a joke.
Hopefully my bank will sort this ASAP
This is really “theft”
This is really “theft”. Popped up while trying get an app to book a train ticket. asking for one pound and scanned my card. Thought it was part of the train app! Bank has stopped this payment and any future payments. HOW DO THESE PEOPLE GET AWAY WITH IT? 😡😡😡
