Amazing Customer Service!!

My first order but definitely not my last!

I recently received my first homewares order from Beut & I’m so happy with it. The items I bought were well priced, brilliant quality & the questions I had were quickly & expertly answered by Sapphire & Amanda in the office. There are a few other pieces I have my eye on, so I’ll be back.

Zero stars

Zero stars. A previous customer for several items on Beut and never had any issues, always very responsive. However, I ordered an item 2 weeks ago and it wasn’t suitable so I returned it at my own cost (plus insurance). It’s been delivered back to them for a week now but they (aka the bot) have failed to acknowledge all emails and calls, calls do not connect and I actually now think they’ve gone bankrupt and ceased trading. I suspect I have lost my money, which was not a small amount and there appears to be no recourse. All I can advise is DO NOT USE this website. It’s not safe. Go elsewhere. I am seeking chargeback from my bank but that may not work. DO NOT purchase from this website.

Firstly can I apologise for the delay in our response. We are a small, dedicated team (no robot friends here) who all work very hard to give our customers a high level of service & care.

Our team work office hours, therefore any out of hours correspondence is picked up as soon as we're able the next day. However, this week we have had a 3 day internet outtage making our response time longer than we would like. It's not the level of service we want you to receive.

We were very happy that we could send your order to you swiftly & very grateful that you sent us the item for refund swiftly & perfectly packaged, thank you.

If I could give no stars I would

If I could give no stars I would.
The web page says they pride themselves on customer service.
I placed an order in December and still waiting for the item. Telephone calls fail. Replies to e mails are more than likely produced by a bot.
I will never use this outfit again.
Hoping things will be resolved shortly.I paid for the item with a credit card so I’m hoping I have some protection.

No customer service !!…

What an unfortunate experience to deal with this company.
I ordered a Carl Hansen bookcase on 9 February for over £2000 which had to be made in Denmark and then delivered to Beut.
It was eventually delivered to me on 21 May after many calls to customer service and emails. It was delivered in an Enterprise van by one man who said he didn’t work for Beut.
Unfortunately, the bookcase was badly damaged and nobody seemed to know exactly how it happened. It was suggested that I take this bookcase and make do with it until they could order another one for me. I decided not to take this option.
After getting the phone number of the director, Liam, I insisted on a refund.
I have received my refund today 28 May. I was promised gift vouchers but they have not appeared.
This company is being sold and a new director is starting. What a shame they didn’t say this on the website.
I would not have bothered using them. Things may get better but, I’m not impressed.
I would avoid this company at all cost. The prices may seem reasonable on the website but the hassle to get a delivery date is not worth it.
I will now buy a bookcase from somewhere else.
A very sophisticated website which is glossy and appealing, but there is no substance to this company.
Best AVOID at all cost!!

Great product, even better service

I ordered a bar stool from beut. They noticed that I'd ordered an especially high stool, unusual for a residential property, so they emailed me to check whether I'd got the correct height for my situation. A bit of measuring revealed they were quite right, they altered the order and three days later a beautifully wrapped stool arrived that fitted perfectly under my counter. Can't recommend their service, speed and quality of delivery, and products highly enough!

Terrible experience - want to cancel order as still not dispatched after a month! No emails responded to and nobody answers phone???? Owe me £239.30??? Very frustrated customer , would not recommend buying from these people

Order was never despatched and hard to contact

Order was never despatched and it took us chasing to discover that it never left the warehouse and they don't know where it went. They reordered the items and it is now over the 2-3 week lead time they promised. It's a nightmare to get in touch with customer services, they are very nice when you do but I must've called 15 times in the last couple of weeks and no one ever picks up or follows up with voicemails. Via email it is the same story, you have to chase and chase to get any answers. The original order was from October last year and we still don't have the items, I'd expect more to be done to rectify such a delay.

Bad Faith

Long delay in goods arriving and after repeated chases we were told they could not get the items from the supplier. Over two months post order. Odd when we were told they were on their way. Also chasing a refund for a tracked return which they say they have not received. Avoid!

No parcel received after two weeks

I placed an order on 19 January and have not received it. I chased several times and got a couple of replies, but after they sent the tracking information, communication stopped. The tracking has been stuck on “We have received your order details but have not received your parcel” on DPD system since last Thursday.
I reached customer service by phone yesterday. They said they were waiting for an update from DPD and would call me back, but no update has been given. Beut has really good review overall so I am really disappointed.

I purchased the dark metal Audo large…

I purchased the dark metal Audo large salt and pepper grinders. They are by far the best Salt-N-Pepa grinders I’ve seen or owned the black metal and simplicity of the bottle shape come together to give a very sculptural look and feel they also function perfectly. Beut where super easy to deal with and sent my package out in good time thanks very much.

Christmas Gift ordered on 2nd Dec

Christmas Gift ordered on 2nd Dec. Hasn’t arrived. The listed phone number doesn’t connect. No response from customer service email other than ‘sorry, we we’ll check our warehouse’ & no follow-up or resolution., Writing this on 19th Dec assuming it won’t be arriving. And no way of checking. Poor - in every way.

First class service

I deal with interiors and restyling furniture. Beut are my goto for paper and custom sized murals. Dixie in customer services is absolutely amazing, so helpful, my order is always processed quickly and she really does go the extra mile to help if it’s needed. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending ordering from Beut.

The product was exactly what I wanted…

The product was exactly what I wanted as a Christmas gift for my brother in law who admired the ones I have (brandy glasses). The outer box was really bashed and the “presentation” box too to a lesser extent, which is a shame as it is a gift and should look good not shabby! The delivery was delayed several days, which in itself is of no consequences in my case, inachievable delivery dates should not be given, people will be waiting or require goods by the date given.
