I was super impressed with the service that I received from Joe Hadden throughout the whole process of my first house purchase. He was extremely professional, responsive and helpful, putting me at ease and taking the time to explain in detail anything that I wasn't sure on. Would recommend this company (and Joe specifically) to anyone, no complaints!

Have to 100% recommend Joe and his team for their incredible service. Selling my Mum's house as Power of Attorney required extra work and they made it all so easy offering plenty of advice along the way. Very professional. Will definitely use the firm again.

We cannot thank Joe Hadden and Samantha Wadmore enough for everything they have done to help us through our home purchase. DO NOT USE BESPOKE LAW
Firstly, we called bespoke law to enquire about instructing them. The person we spoke to was reassuring about the bad reviews and said if it helps, we can chose who we want to work with if there are some names that have good reviews. He also said the sale should take 6-8 weeks.
Once we paid, we did not get the conveyancer we requested. Our sale took around 5 months.
We were allocated Amanda Rose who did well in getting all of the work completed, and it was our buyers chain who were holding it up. However, Amanda did make a few mistakes, and I felt like I was working as her assistant. She couldn’t call our builders to find out an email, I had to do it. She sent our documents to the buyers solicitor instead of Help to Buy. I constantly had to chase for updates as I felt out of the loop, but was met with rude responses, which I bit my tongue as I just wanted our sale and purchase to go through.

Amanda also dealt with the purchase of our new house which was pretty straight forward. Unfortunately after being in our home for a few days, Amanda emailed to say that she had made a mistake with calculating our stamp duty and that we owed £2500. We had been quoted the same figure throughout and that is what we had budgeted for. Amanda’s mistake has left a young couple with a baby very short for money.
They seem to pass the responsibility back on to us, even though they charged at £75 for this. I also wonder, if I had to do all the chasing and phone calls for my sale, and they aren’t responsible for managing the SDLT, what do you actually do?

We are looking into taking this further, but my biggest advice is AVOID

Edit: I actually can’t be bothered to respond to their response, as I’ve outlined everything I feel above. Only thing I would add is their ‘compensation’ offered was £50.

A very professional company, they handled my purchase with sensitivity and although I was anxious for the purchase to go through quickly I had to realise that in order for the purchase to be sound and secure it takes time going through each process as you dont want any issues after completion so 17 weeks from start to finish was a good result. I used Bespoke Law for the conveyancing of my property. I have mixed feelings about the company.

Initially it all started out well, items being dealt with in a timely fashion etc. After a period the process ground to a complete halt, I was constantly chasing for updates, as there was a distinct lack of communication from the solicitor, when I did ask for an update via phone call as emails took multiple days to reply to, I was told to contact the estate agent, this is surely something that would be done by the solicitor / assistant, not the person paying for the services of yourselves.

The service I believe was poor, slow and added to the stress of buying a property.
Further to that, I was charged an expedited completion fee of £120, if I wanted to complete within 10 working days of exchange, yes this is in the Terms and Conditions, but the fact it took so long and multiple phone calls to chase up the whole process, to then be made to pay this, seems wholly unjustified in my honest opinion.

Not the service I was expecting and unfortunately I wouldn’t use them again or recommend the company.
