My husband and I have just returned from our first trip to India, all arranged by Bespoke India Travel, and can't recommend them highly enough.

From the very start, Himanshu in the booking team was so helpful and prompt at giving us all the information we needed. We had multiple emails and phone calls to go through our questions, and a few weeks before departure we were even sent guides detailing recommended restaurants for each city we were visiting, plus useful information about travelling in India in general. All of the documents proved so helpful during our trip.

On the ground in India, we felt so welcomed and taken care of by everyone involved in our holiday - from the guides and local reps to the hotel owners and staff. In particular, our driver Kartar was exceptional. He was always so friendly and happy to help, and was like a guide as well as a driver! He shared plenty of cultural knowledge - from info about local street food to stories about Hinduism - and was also enthusiastic about helping us spot birds we wanted to see.

Overall, our experience with BIT was wonderful and we're already looking to see where we can go next.

Plenty of personal advice and input from Sanjay, which was very helpful. The holiday was well organised, ran smoothly, and fulfilled out expectations. We were in India for nearly 3 weeks, and had a wonderful time.

It is rare today to find a company from start to finish that provides the ultimate experience and first rate service, but Bespoke India Travel did. Our 10 day bespoke package to India was outstanding not only for the sights we saw in Delhi, Agra and Jaipur but also the care and detail delivered by Bespoke India Travel from compete staff coverage at every point, simply superb hotels, slick transportation and the most informative and knowledgeable guides at each destination. The personal touch was there both in planning and execution, with staff on the ground unbelievably responsive to ensure a faultless holiday. We chose Bespoke India as we have been to India several times and knew what we wanted this time - specifically the major religious sights we had not seen. Sanjay listened to us, steered us away from one or two of our choices (a hotel in Dharamsala) and told us we would love Mumbai which we did and and very pleased we included. The organisation was very good both in the UK and especially on the ground in India where we were really spoiled with excellent drivers and guides, who were always available for us.
We have no hesitation in recommending Bespoke India Travel and Sanjay.

Great second trip for us with Sanjay and the BIT team. As before the planning and execution were exemplary, the handovers were seamless and the people first class. India has so much to enjoy - using Sanjay just makes the experience so easy.

This was our first trip to India and we wanted to see the major sites along with, hopefully, seeing some wildlife and in particular tigers.

Sanjay was instrumental, using his detailed knowledge of India, in creating a personalised tour that was just fantastic.

The ground support was excellent and the communication with them was exactly what we wanted.

We had a fantastic trip and loved everywhere we went to.

We have just returned from our second trip to India, arranged through Bespoke India Travel and would throughly recommend the company to anyone planning a trip there. We felt very well looked after by the team throughout. The office staff kept in regular touch, the drivers were fabulous and there was someone to meet us at transition points to make sure everything went smoothly with internal flights and on arrival in each new area.
A couple of changes were required to our accommodation and activity due to local issues but these were fully discussed prior to our departure and a new plan agreed, which worked perfectly. On this trip we had asked for more free time, which made it more relaxed. However, when something was organised, all the guides were excellent and the planned activities often exceeded our expectations because there was something special included that we had not anticipated.

At our request, most of the accommodation was in homestays or small hotels that offered a more authentic experience. All of these were very high standard, run by people who really care about their guests and who provided something unique, very comfortable and food that was local, often organic and always excellent.

Sanjay listened to what our interests, tastes etc were and booked things accordingly. Every place we stayed in was lovely. We had the same driver for 10 days and he was exceptional. We were met by a representative at each airport and assisted on our way. We loved the home stays and everything went like clockwork. I would definitely use BIT again if we go back one day

This is the second time we have travelled with Bespoke; they have been consistently excellent. There is always a thorough dialogue before we confirm our travel plan and no shortage of ideas and flexibility. On this trip we enjoyed excellent guides and great accommodation. The additional tours that Bespoke proposed were such fun and the in-country agents were attentive and efficient. We are also aware that Bespoke represents excellent value for money.

We really loved India and very much enjoyed the itinerary that Sanjay from Bespoke India Travel had prepared for us. The trip was well planned and we were looked after at every step.

The hotels in the CHG group and the Blanket Days hotel were all excellent with regard to the service, comfort, food, location, facilities and range of activities provided. The staff in all of the hotels were thoughtful, and caring and gave outstanding service. My wife sustained an injury to her leg a few days before the start of our holiday and every hotel arranged for the use of a wheelchair and supported her to ensure that she could do as much as possible.

Our driver, Viswan, was exceptional in every way; kind, caring, courteous, thoughtful and efficient.. He contacted the local guides in advance to advise them of my wife’s limited mobility and made arrangements to park as close as possible to the entrance of the places we visited and even got the authorities to open a road that had been closed because of the Pongal festival so that he could drop us as close as possible to the entrance of the Tanjore temples. Viswan always waited with us until the local guide picked us up and was there to collect us at the end of our visit. He pointed out things of interest on our journeys. The car was always spotlessly clean and well stocked with water, tissues, hand sanitiser and snacks.


All the local guides were excellent, especially the two guides we had at Pondicherry and Kavitha at Chettinad.

We remained well tor the entire trip due to care being taken over the choice of restaurants for lunch and only stopping at venues that could accommodate our delicate European constitutions!


The agents from Dravidian trails who met us at ChennI - Mani, when we arrived from London and Michael Peter (I hope that I have remembered his name correctly) at the end of our trip were also both excellent. Michael Peter even came to the airport at Chennai at 4am to ensure that the assistance that he had booked for us for our flight home was in place.

We enjoyed every moment of our trip and have no hesitation in recommending Bespoke India Travel and hope to book with them again ourselves.

If I could I would rate Bespoke India 10 stars! From the outset when we started to plan our trip, Anil Chauhan couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. He organised our whole trip and everything was thought of - even our luggage being transported by car while we enjoyed our train journey so that we didn't have to worry about our suitcases.
At every location we were met by a local representative of Bespoke India and then accompanied by really knowledgeable and friendly tour operators to experience the amazing sights and sounds.
We had a dedicated driver Dhramapal who was excellent in navigating the madness of Indian roads and our car was always spotless and topped up with drinks, snacks and even wifi!
Each place we stayed had its own wow factor and the most amazing experience was celebrating the Holi Festival at Chanoud garh which is a must place to stay.
We spent 18 days visiting 7 different locations and everything ran like clockwork and we didn't worry about a thing. If you are thinking of visiting India then I 100% recommend Bespoke India and hopefully you'll be lucky to get Anil to organise it for you.

We have just had an amazing holiday in India. We cannot praise Anil at Bespoke for arranging such a wonderful trip. The recommendation of Satpura National Park was inspired by- wonderful accommodation and incredible wildlife viewing. We had not visited Kerela before and the itinerary he organised was great and fulfilled our requirements on meeting people, seeing real life and doing some off beat things.

This was our second trip with Bespoke and once again we had the most amazing time. Last year we did the “Golden Triangle” in the north, this year we did a slightly longer trip (33 days) in the south and everything was perfect, car and driver, guides and accommodation. We are now planning another trip for next year and without any hesitation it will be with Bespoke and their great team.

We recently returned from an incredible 7 day journey through India’s Golden Triangle, organized for a group of 10 people—including 6 children aged 9 to 16—and we were so impressed with the level of care, planning, and professionalism provided by our travel agent, Anil.
From the very beginning, Anil helped us understand what was realistic and enjoyable for a group of our size, especially during the busy holiday season. He managed to secure excellent accommodations, transportation, and guides despite peak travel demand, and every element of the itinerary felt thoughtful and well paced. The hotels were varied in character and style, yet each one was comfortable after long days of exploring. One had a new years dinner included - built in activity!
Our guide and our drivers were outstanding. Bhanu was knowledgeable, engaging, and we appreciated his addition of his personal stories to the history and culture of Agra, Jaipur and Jodhpur. The drivers were skilled and friendly. The three of them worked together to get us from place to place (through narrow roads and center city traffic). We literally would have been lost in a minute without them.
One moment that demonstrated Anil’s dedication came when one of us lost a phone at the airport. Instead of leaving us to handle the situation, he arranged multiple trips back to the airport to retrieve it and then ensured it was sent to our family by courier. This level of personal attention went far beyond what we expected.
Throughout the trip, Anil was responsive, flexible, and proactive—adjusting plans when needed and always staying one step ahead. Thanks to his expertise, we were able to fully enjoy the beauty, energy, and culture of India without worrying about logistics.
Having traveled on my own in India as an adult, I knew that travelling with kids would need excellent logistical planning on the ground to allow us to have this once in a lifetime trip. We highly recommend him to anyone planning a trip to India, especially families or larger groups looking for exceptional service and an unforgettable journey. Just returned from our fantastic trip to India-usual golden triangle followed by a week in Goa.All arranged by Sanjay-the second time we have used Bespoke-and once again he and his company have surpassed themselves.From drivers to guides everything was flawless-we highly recommend this company and will surely use them again-thankyou.

Anil Chauhan did a great job setting up a trip of a lifetime. The structure of Bespoke (I.e., assigning a driver & host/guide) made it easy for us to see and learn about so many wonderful sites & ceremonies. Everyone working with Bespoke was on time, very knowledgeable & went out of their way to help us with whatever we needed or forgot to bring. A special acknowledgment also to Apruva in Delhi. As I was the last in our group to leave she made sure I had her number and checked in with me during that time.Would highly recommend Bespoke.

Our tour of India included Delhi, Amritsar, Jaipur, Ranthambore, Agra, and Khajuraha. We were met at each stop by a local host, who insured that we were properly oriented and settled in each city. Hosts made certain we had our travel documents in hand before each leg of our journey. Local guides were knowledgable, drivers were professional and all cars were spotless. Anil Chauhan did a FANTASTIC job of arranging it all! Apurva in Delhi deserves a shout-out as well. I would not hesitate to recommend Anil and Bespoke if you are thinking of traveling to India.

As first timers to India we could not have used a better holiday company. Bespoke were brilliant throughout, Himanshu and Anshi were excellent organisers and all the BIT reps were exactly where they were supposed to be at all times. The guides were all professional, knowledgeable and engaging and our driver Mr Kartar was a complete delight. His driving skills and calm demeanour enabled us to relax and enjoy the crazy traffic of Delhi! We enjoyed his snippets of information and his engagement with our bird spotting attempts!
We would definitely use this company again and would 100% recommend them.

Our three week holiday, with a complex and unusual itinerary including Kolkata, Varanasi and Lucknow as well as South India, was meticulously planned and executed for us. Excellent locally- owned hotels and homestays, as we had wanted. Splendid and professional guides and drivers, and a mix of lovely train journeys too. The level of knowledge and care which Anil and his team offered, as well as their responsive communication at all times, was exceptional. We would recommend Bespoke India to anyone contemplating a trip there.
