Never have an easy experience

Never have an easy experience. Always over charged or bike fails to unlock. Today I was stranded after trying 8 bikes. Customer support couldn't help me. Absolutely appalling.

Used a few times and there's issues…

Used a few times and there's issues every time. Latest one was a £10 fee for parking outside a bay when I was parked right in the middle of one. Customer services did say they'd refund it but it could take 10 working days.

horrible bikes…

horrible bikes… i attempted to unlock multiple different bikes separately and each one took my money and didn’t let me ride… the only bike that actually unlocked refused to actually move and within a minute the beryl app said i had rode for 5 minutes.. the company takes ur money without a thought and doesn’t care

We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused by the bike unlocking issue. We understand how frustrating this can be and assure you that our team is committed to resolving such problems quickly.

You may see the £1 pre-authorisation card check. This is refunded automatically.

To ensure your card is valid, we complete a pre-authorisation card check each time you do the following:

Add a card

Start a journey

This pre-authorisation card check is refunded automatically. The pending charge is usually cancelled within 7 business days, depending on how fast your bank can process it. In your bank account, the card check is from 'BERYL CARD AUTH'.

This check applies to every user and attempted ride, even if you have a Minute Bundle or Riding Pass or the ride fails.

Your journey cost will be charged separately at the end of each ride.

Please contact our support team at support@beryl.cc so we can investigate and refund any incorrect charges.

Please rest assured that we are committed to improving and providing a better experience for our customers.

The bikes are brilliant

The bikes are brilliant. So convenient for bike rides to/from school runs to use the car less and bike with my son more. They’re affordable and very easy/safe to use! Highly recommended!

I don't often have to communicate with the Beryl team but when I get through they are always helpful and friendly. Sherry, Edgar, Ga-Young have all been brilliant when I have reached out, and many more over the year or so I have used this service.

Lack of bikes in the bays when you do find one they are usually out of service

I reckon I have a 10 precent success rate

We make vehicles unavailable for hire when they need servicing or inspection due to customer and staff reports. This also applies to vehicles out of battery.

If the vehicle is not visible in the app, it means it is unavailable for hire.

Please check the app for all the available vehicles you are able to use. When you click on the Bay in the app, you will be able to see the vehicle number.

Great service and excellent customer service!

I really enjoy using this service. Pre purchasing minutes saves me money on what I’d spend using public transport like bus or train.

Customer services are kind and helpful. Had issues with journeys with vehicles not locking either due to fault or poor cellular service. They’ve been more than happy to help in these situations.
