Best realtor in Berlin for international clients/owners. They helped furnish my apartment and then rented it out in one day! Best support service and perfectly helpful!!!

I've been a client of Berlin99 for a number of years now. Peter initially helped me find an apartment when I moved to Berlin. He was incredibly helpful and always easy to reach if there were any issues or questions I had.

Fast forward a few years and he's helping me find tenants for my rental apartments in Berlin. The entire process has always been smooth and professional. As and when any issues arise he is always there to find a solution. Would highly recommend.

Worst Communication and actual service from a Landlord I have ever had.
Berlin 99 was completely ineffectual in helping me sort out problems with my apartment. I had a serious overheating problem due to a design fault, and they did absolutely nothing to advocate for my rights as a tenant. I had to reduce my rent on advice from the BMV. Our building had no security gate and I was on the ground floor so it was impossible to open windows at night as we experienced regular break ins. On top of that when I moved, The agent Peter actually told the next tenants they could completely move in ahead of time, and all this while I was still packing. And then he didnt tell the incoming tenants of his mistake or the poor replacement agent who had to deal with the problem. This firm is absolutely incompetent, and actively overprices New Builds to work in the rent mirror loophole which makes the Berlin rental market impossible.

As it is they are now refusing to refund my Kaution unless I pay them back the money that was a legal rent reduction, and have refused to formally reply to my requests for information in regards to their legal team, and why they won't refund me my extra key that I bought, that they took and gave to the incoming tenant.

Th saving grace was Mo, who really did do an amazing job after being left in the middle of an actual illegal mess because the other one just left on holiday and didn't think it was important enough to formally tell anyone what he'd done.
Awful. And the crap thing is we are so stressed for rentals we have to deal with this level of wilful negligence.

Berlin 99 war völlig unfähig, mir bei der Lösung von Problemen mit meiner Wohnung zu helfen. Ich hatte ein ernsthaftes Überhitzungsproblem aufgrund eines Konstruktionsfehlers, und sie taten absolut nichts, um sich für meine Rechte als Mieter einzusetzen. Auf Anraten des BMV musste ich meine Miete mindern. Unser Gebäude hatte kein Sicherheitstor und ich wohnte im Erdgeschoss, so dass es unmöglich war, nachts die Fenster zu öffnen, da regelmäßig eingebrochen wurde. Als ich umzog, teilte der Makler Peter den Nachmietern sogar mit, dass sie vorzeitig einziehen könnten, und das alles, während ich noch packte. Und dann erzählte er weder den neuen Mietern von seinem Fehler noch dem armen Ersatzmieter, der sich um das Problem kümmern musste. Diese Firma ist absolut inkompetent und setzt aktiv überhöhte Preise für Neubauten an, um das Schlupfloch des Mietspiegels zu nutzen, das den Berliner Mietmarkt unmöglich macht.

Jetzt weigern sie sich, meine Kaution zu erstatten, es sei denn, ich zahle ihnen das Geld zurück, das eine legale Mietminderung war, und sie haben sich geweigert, offiziell auf meine Bitten um Informationen über ihr juristisches Team zu antworten, und warum sie mir meinen zusätzlichen Schlüssel nicht erstatten, den ich gekauft habe und den sie dem neuen Mieter gegeben haben.

Die rettende Gnade war Mo, der wirklich eine erstaunliche Arbeit geleistet hat, nachdem er mitten in einem illegalen Schlamassel zurückgelassen wurde, weil der andere Mieter gerade in den Urlaub gefahren war und es nicht für wichtig genug hielt, jemandem offiziell mitzuteilen, was er getan hatte.

Schrecklich.
