I bought the shoes 3 months ago. The inside material around the foxing part (above the heel part) pointing out and hurting my ankle and bleeding while walking. Not recommended at all.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I am absolutely appalled at the behaviour of this company. I ordered 2 beds initially that arrived within 4 weeks. I had spoken to “ROB”; whose number is on the web site so I am assuming he is the owner and also states on companies house. He measured for matching drawer sets and stated they would be delivered in 4 weeks. I did all the chasing and was assured they were being delivered beginning of may. They day of delivery they never turned up no phone call nothing. After chasing Rob he eventually stated the shelving in the van had collapsed and a small repair was needed to one unit. This would be a quick fix and would be delivered the following week. I waited in for the furniture but it never turned up, when I eventually got hold of Rob after many calls he had got delayed in Liverpool and would deliver the following week. The furniture never turned up the following week and the excuse was he was overloaded and would get to me as soon as he could. I have called Rob at least 20 times he fails to answer or return calls. He does not respond to texts either. Don’t even bother calling the office, there is a receptionist; which seems to change weekly and the one today didn’t even know what the company did. I have been told every time that someone would get in touch that afternoon but I’m sure you can guess. Avoid this company by a mile they lack integrity, work ethic, customer service and as from Rob shame on you.

Disgraceful company

Disgraceful company. Ordered hoody on 9th April. Still hasn't arrived as of 10th May. Have emailed 4 times to no response and have reached out on socials with the same. They have basically stolen £40 from me.

My parcel has not arrived, afte over a week,

No reply

Bench keep sending me emails to rate their product which is ridiculous as the product hasn't been delivered,

Irresponsible service i bought an item…

Irresponsible service i bought an item ,item is not fit and was dirty on i have try to return and request for return ,when I request return it said we will send you return sheet but I did not received return sheet I've been waiting not been sent to me then I searched this company found a contact number and called to customer service and explained all,the customer service person said im not that department i will mail that department they will sent email to me if not asked me to call next day as she mentioned not received mail then I keep trying to call same number I called before ,I started to call 9am morning till I post this no response from that number so I never ever will buy again from this company.

Deceiving Customers with Inferior Products?

That discovery with Lidl and Bench is wild. It’s shocking but not entirely surprising—many brands manufacture lower-quality products specifically for budget retailers. But for Bench to openly admit it? That’s rare.
It’s definitely not ethical, and it damages their reputation. You’d think a brand would want to maintain a certain standard, even for budget lines. But some companies cut corners to meet a lower price point, assuming customers won’t notice or care. They rely on the brand name to sell the product, even if it’s lower quality.
What’s frustrating is that they could still make affordable but durable clothing instead of using cheap materials that fall apart after a few washes.
I recently bought two pairs of Bench trousers from Lidl, expecting the same quality Bench is known for. However, after wearing one pair just eight times, it looks like it has been through a war zone—stretched-out fabric, excessive wear, and poor durability.
I contacted Bench directly to ask if these were authentic Bench products. They confirmed they were. When I questioned the poor quality, their response shocked me:
🗣 "It is for Lidl, so it is cheaper, so it is worse quality than for other shops." ( lady by the name of A. in DE – refused to put me thru to the menagers)
This means Bench is knowingly producing lower-quality clothing under its brand name, just because it’s sold at Lidl. But nowhere on the label does it warn consumers that these products are inferior. Customers buy them thinking they’re getting Bench’s usual quality, only to be deceived.
This practice is misleading and unethical. A brand should protect its reputation, not destroy it by selling substandard products.
🔹 Lidl customers deserve transparency.
🔹 Bench should not degrade its own brand with poor-quality versions of its products.
🔹 Consumers should be informed if they’re buying a lower-grade product.
I urge Lidl and Bench to respond:
🔹 Will you disclose when products are made with cheaper materials?
🔹 Will you improve quality control so customers aren’t tricked?

This company do not refund!!

I bought a pair of cargo pants in December that were not the right fit. Posted them back to Bench, with evidence of postage. The item was lost somewhere in transit. Bench have not refunded me and have not replied to any message in over two months. AVOID THIS COMPANY!
