The End Of Belstaff!

Yet another order cancelled from Belstaff. Since Castore took over Belstaff the customer service and online website has become dreadful. How has Castore dragged a premium brand to this low level?
Direct intervention is now needed by the Castore board and in particular both Beahon brothers!!!!
Its not all about saving money!!!

Read the T&Cs

So I order two items, one of the items Belstaff sent is the wrong item and the other didn’t fit. I sent it back.

I sent back but when I didn’t get a refund I get told ‘Belstaff has an agreement with returns partners to allow them 20 working days maximum to deliver EU returns back to us’ - that a month when weekends are included.

Also ‘Once we’ve received your items, please allow our fulfilment centre 14 working days to process your return and issue a refund. Please note that after processing at our warehouse, refunds can take up to 5-10 working days to appear in your account, depending on your card issuer or original method of payment’

All of these working days add up to 20 + 14 + 10 = 35 days almost 2 and half months.

Having been a loyal customer through their other channels. I will never purchase again.

I wouldn't buy from this website

I wouldn't buy from this website! They have vintage product listed for sale on their website that has been completly lifted from my website (photos & descriptions). The items are one of a kind pieces and have sold (off my website) so how they can be selling them is beyond me . . .

Shocking customer service

Have bought from the belstaff shop never had a problem, bought trainers online which were too small returned over 5 weeks ago tracking says belstaff have received them but no sign of refund, as others have said there is no phone number to contact them, no reply by email I am now out of pocket and worried I will never get the money back, surely this is illegal

Shocked at the service I have received from belstaff .. firstly I ordered a coat it came quickly around 7 days . On opening the box I found the coat without any plastic covering just put in the box unprotected also it had the sleeves rolled up which I’m shore is not how they should come unless someone has previously tried it on removing the plastic and rolling the sleeves up …

I returned the coat to belstaff on there returns system on the 8th of January.. since then it has been received by them but still no refund no confirmation of them receiving it or that they are processing my refund .. it’s concerning to come in here and see it’s not just me it’s many customers .. first time and last time for Belstaff I’m afraid & not shore why to do about the refund as all there contacts are not working , live chat nope , Email no response & no phone number ! When your spending £600 on a jacket or coat I would expect more

This company has the worse customer service I have ever come across. I have tried contacting them several times regarding a refund via email. I would never had ordered from this site had I read the reviews beforehand.

Absolutely rubbish waited over a…

Absolutely rubbish waited over a fortnight to get a reply to a query. All i wanted to do was exchange an item of clothing which i bought on phoenix day, reply back eventually was no, had to return for refund so now will have to pay full price to buy again. Buy on line at your PERIL.

Don't bother arguing with them just claim the money back from you credit card Company

I bought a leather jacket from them RRP £1870 supposedly luxury high end product.
It arrived and was faulty. I asked them to collect it and provide a replacement, not much to ask you might think, considering the damage was their fault and home delivery was part of the price.
They refused to do so and told me I could become an unpaid member for their staff, driving round to get a box and them to the post office to send it to them.
I refused as this is a breach of the consumer protection act and the Consumer protection from unfair trading regulations. They tried to ague these regulation do not require them to collect faulty or incorrect items without adverse inconvenience and expense to the consumer, just so they could be right and save their company money and administration. They do this to all their customers they told me so.
So I got my bank to do a chargeback under the mastercard rules. This states the customer must make the item available for collection and the merchant must collect it.
Belstaff continued to refuse to collect it so my claim went in to get the full refund.
Belstaff challenged it time and again trying again to intentionally misinterpret the rules that applied to the transaction in their own favour.
The bank was clear all along as Belstaff had refused to collect the item as required the had failed to abide by the Mastercard rules and I go all my money back and they never did collect the jacket.
I have asked them if as a result of them having had it confirmed they are required to collect faulty or incorrect items from customer homes, but I doubt they will do so or even respond, as refusing to comply with these consumer rules costs them money and time arranging it, but you would think this sort of customer service would be something a company selling high end expensive products would so as standard instead of having to prove them wrong by using their bank!

I cannot recommend them at all

I cannot recommend them as their customer service is atrocious. The clothing might be great but if you have a problem, and you're unlucky enough to have email back and forth with Ugochi you'll regret it. I count 22 emails back and forth trying to get them to refund me for a package they knew they'd received but couldn't work out what the next step was. A clue... it's a refund. It took a month to get a refund and that's only because I pestered them.

Centenary moto overshirt

This is a lovely jacket: well made, quality materials and a great design. Logo is fairly discreet and therefore avoids the tackiness exhibited by some branding. Sizing runs a bit large and consequently I had to return my original order. I was quite put out that they refused to honour the 10% discount on first purchases, hence the 4 stars. Return and refund were timely.

£325 spent at Belstaff- nothing to show!

I ordered a gift from Belstaff 2 weeks ago for my nephew’s birthday. I requested the parcel be delivered to a local parcel point (my Coop) but when I attempted to pick the parcel up last week (within the designated uplift time), the shop staff told me it wasn’t there. I attempted to contact Belstaff to complain - I wanted to speak to someone but that is impossible with Belstaff because when you call, you are told no one available - no one is ever available! I had to resort to ‘live chat’ and email. I received a response from Belstaff telling me my parcel was back out for delivery and I could pick it up. Once again, I travelled to my parcel pick up point but guess what? The parcel wasn’t there. Incidentally, the courier company used by Belstaff for this delivery was DPD. I once again messaged Belstaff who informed me they were looking into it. That was 2 days ago and I’ve heard nothing since. I am down £325 and I had to attend my nephew’s birthday party yesterday evening empty handed. This is shocking customer service from what is supposed to be a luxury high street brand. I have bought lots of items from Belstaff over the years but this will be my last purchase.

Horrible experience!!!

I would give zero stars if possible!
I had to return an expensive coat (1k) and started the return process on *10/11/2022* !!! I still haven't received my refund. When you reach out to customer service you'll just get standardized answers. No help at all. They are sorry...bla bla bla. First my return was lost at their warehouse location in Jersey... now...it was just loaded on a pallet..and is still stuck in transit. Whenever my return leaves the US and arrives in the UK... it will take another additional 10 days until I might get my refund. They have had my money for way too long.
I am out of patience and furious about the whole experience.
The return process is an absolute joke, no transparency to the customer and all you get is a hollow "sorry" mail.

Never thought I would say this about a well known brand like Belstaff...but:

DONT ORDER ONLINE FROM THEM IF THERES A CHANCE YOU NEED TO RETURN IT. JUST DONT DO IT.

NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Update: my return reached their warehouse in Poland 2 weeks ago. To this day no refund!

Poor service

BELSTAFF USA sent an expensive t-shirt in completely the wrong size. Chat line representative apologetic but unable to assist because of "procedures". The parcel has to be returned for a refund and the correct size reordered. What a faff !!
Requested a call from their CEO , but his/her contact details were not, apparently, to hand.

Stay away from their online store.
I asked for a refund, and they made me print a useless returning code with DHL, that che courier wasn't able to take /Waybill code was missing). They still couldn't solve the problem, after weeks.

Took literally 5 weeks to get my…

Took literally 5 weeks to get my refund. They used the slowest return shipping method imaginable and had it shipped to different warehouses. So the shipping of the return took 2 weeks for them to receive. Then, it took them another 3 weeks to process the refund. This is even after me following up with them 5 times and each time I was told everything is on schedule and to be patient. 5 weeks is unacceptable in 2022. Products are 5-star so buy from a 3rd party and avoid at all costs buying direct. Hard to believe a high end company that charges as much as they do could fail so miserably in customer service. Don’t believe me, look at all their negative reviews about the exact same horror stories of returns. The CEO or executive I’m charge of returns needs to be fired for letting this go on for so long. Unacceptable
