Hi Gemma, sadly the images you sent us showed lots of little piercings on the groundsheet as you have mentioned. This is very obviously the sort of damage you would expect if the tent had been pitched on hard standing with stones or gravel. Grass pitches without stones would not make the holes as grass cannot pierce the 540 gsm groundsheet. The groundsheet had marks in the places where sharp objects have rubbed and made impressions. These are often made when walking on a groundsheet pitched on hardstanding gravel with the campervan. We explained this was not due to a manufacturing fault, but offered a cost price replacement of £67.97. to help get you camping again this season. We're sorry to hear this does not feel like a helpful solution to what was obviously unfortunate accidental damage. The purchase date was Apr 12, 2025 not 6 months ago.
