It has been a amazing doing the Bela Beauty Course. It's great how I can study at my own pace. I highly recommend Bela Beauty College. Emily has been such a great help and always lovely to talk to.

The Bela beauty college is great I really loved how I could log in anytime and post my pictures and get the feedback from the tutors I needed to do better and continue my lashing with improvement whenever Ive needed, I’ve completed two Bela beauty courses now and plans to complete more in the future with the amazing guidance of the Bela beauty team.

I love how quickly the tutors grade the assessments and get back to you with any answers to questions. Super fast and kinda people. Absolutely loving Bella beauty collage

Have had an amazing experience with this college! I have completed my classic, Russian lash courses as well as my eyebrow wax and tint course! I found these courses so easy to get through and the support is amazing. Nothing is to big or to little to ask :)

Absolutely terrible.
Sustained an injury a few months ago that caused me to not be able to continue in the course I was enrolled in, spoke back and forth for months with multiple different people till they came to telling me the only way they can now refund me is by having someone take over my course (they were to pay full fees and I would only get back part of my money) this meant they gained money off my payment and a full new payment if I was to get someone else to take over.
They seem to be very money hungry with little compassion.
They will not message back to emails even when you start the course and need direction with it also.
A lot of excuses from this company and have heard nothing but bad reviews on them now that I have checked it out further.
Would definitely research before starting with this so called company and place money in to a course elsewhere.

I suffered a severe allergic reaction to the Acetone Nail Polish Remover that is an essential component in false nail removals.
I had a numb tongue, numb lips, spinning head, heart palpitations and my sense of taste was affected. I was frightened and I have never experienced this before.

Acetone Nail Polish Remover is an essential product in removing false nails. Not everyone wishes to have the drill to remove their false nails. That is damaging to the nail matrix,(structure) especially when the glue is only recently infused and you want to change your false nails again. Better to use the Acetone Remover rather than the drill.

My Doctor advised me to never work with these products again, therefore I cannot work as a Nail Technician in the Industry.
The Course is now useless to me and you would think the Owner would be more reasonable. Tafe has a policy whereby those that are allergic to products get a refund on their course or course fees completely wiped on compassionate grounds.
Expecting the same level of professionalism I was horrified that they insisted I continue on, just using non acetone nail polish remover.
Anyone that is accredited in this area would be aware Non Acetone Nail Polish Remover is only good for removing nail polish not for glue infused false nails and stronger polish - Acetone Nail Polish Remover - is required.

Therefore, they are charging me $3660 for a Course I cannot complete due to a key component that could make me sick or next time the reaction could be worse and I will be dead.

Not a Registered Training Organisation. The entire Course Content hints at a rehashed version of whoever the Owner learnt from previously, an overly priced kit and poorly projected voice over audio in training videos with people doing nails. As there is no in class training with this course the audio issues mean you have to focus extra hard. One of the videos was a wonderful example of Nail Art.

Please don't be fooled. Bela Beauty College do not treat their students well.
Having paid for the kit and weekly payments and then being unable to complete due to an allergic reaction to a product that is a key component to completing the Course the least they could do is waiver the remaining course fee.

Not everything is about Money 🤑🤦🏻‍♀️

Email sent Tuesday 5th of March 2024, informed this week I Am being charged for a course that I cannot complete due to a severe allergic reaction.

*In response to Bela Beauty College's Reply: My Job Network paid for the Course Materials. You need to acknowledge this as the proof will be sent to the Ombudsman. Combine this with my payments to the course, why has this no been applied to the alleged account? I cannot complete it now due to the allergy. You never mentioned changing courses to me either. This needs to be sorted.
