Terrible Quality and Service to Match

Seems like they build their product to fall apart after 1 year. My glasses had an anti scratch and anti reflective coating. I purchased in December of 2023 and in March of 2025 those coatings starting disintegrating or corroding or something on the lens. Very difficult to see out of my right eye and an instant headache. Turns out, there is no warranty on the lenses, only the frame. Won't be purchasing again.

Got them in 2 Weeks!

Well, I found out I have cataracts and the operation is scheduled for two months away so I needed glasses to get around. I was excited to see Befitting would send them in two weeks! And they did! many thanks to Daniel!

Beware

I was excited when I found befitting through a list of retailers provided by my vision insurance, as they seemed to offer good prices in comparison to other retailers. I ordered my contacts on March 17th. No problems. I receive an email the same day saying: "Just a quick note to let you know we have everything we need from you to begin processing your order. Your order has now been sent to our lab to begin manufacturing." I wait expectantly for my tracking email. A week goes by. Nothing. Then, on March 24th, I receive another email from the company- this one says: "Before we proceed with your order, we will need a photo of the complete contact lens prescription." A whole week went by before this was an issue?? Now I have to wait even longer for my contacts to ship, under the impression this entire time that they would be delivered soon. If my order cannot be fulfilled without a prescription, I should've been asked to submit it BEFORE I paid. Very displeased because now the timing is off, and I will run out of daily contacts long before my order arrives. Beware.

A mixed bag

Recently bought my second pair of glasses from Befitting and it was a mixed bag of results. Even though I used their online tool for measuring my PD, they said they didn't have the measurement which delayed my order. After contacting customer service, they were able to refer to my previous order to get the measurement. At that time, they put a rush on my order and I received the prescription glasses within about three days. So I found the customer service very satisfactory. However, I wasn't entirely pleased with the glasses themselves. I ordered a pair of designer frames and, when they arrived, they looked as if they were made for a child. I went back to the website and, indeed, the frames were obscurely labeled as XS. I hadn't noticed that. I had used the virtual try-on feature, which I really like, but wasn't able to pick up on the fact that the frames are so small. In all honesty, I feel like the frames would fit a child better, though they were in the women's category. I did not try to return them but did let Befitting know I would have benefitted from reviews of the frames from others. I myself wanted to leave a review warning other buyers of the tiny frames, but there is no option on the website to review frames. So, like I said, a mixed bag.

Poor communication but Nice Glasses

Poor communication. Email on March 6 said shipped but tracking never updated. A week later I emailed asking for an update. I heard back 5 days after that (so 12 days from shipped email) letting me know my order was delivered that day. Which I knew because at that point I had them in hand.

Still giving a 4 star review because glasses were nice. Came with a nice hard case and cleaning cloth. Easy to use my insurance. I just didn't like all the unknowns.

Great Quality and Price

First time ordering and very happy with the quality of the glasses. Started with sunglasses only, then bought 2 pairs of normal glasses. Couldn't be happier! Price and quality is great.

Cancelled my order after no communication

Cancelled my order after 11 days of no communication. I waited for an update after my order confirmation but did not hear back for 11 days. When I reached out they said the prescription was verified on that day, conveniently. They told me it would take another week or so for the glasses to be made and with shipping I was looking at another 10 days of waiting, at least. I chose Befitting for the ease of process and quick process in the past, but it is no longer what it used to be. I would probably not use this company in the future.

No communication for a week since I…

No communication for a week since I placed my order. No acknowledgment that I sent in my prescription for my contacts. My email to their help line bounced. Their competitors are far superior in communication and speediness. Who knows if I’ll ever get my contacts at this rate.

I was a bit hesitant to order online

I was a bit hesitant to order online, especially because I have only ordered in person. Befitting was one of three in network I checked out so I could use my insurance. Befitting had the best prices, was easier to maneuver, find things, and find out exactly what your cost is. The purchasing was a breeze too. There are steps with prescription glasses. I called customer service to make sure I had done everything correctly. Daniel was attentive, polite, knowledgeable and helpful. My first interactions with Befitting have been all positive. Glad I picked them for my eyewear company. Thank you.

Excellent customer service and shopping…

Excellent customer service and shopping experience by Befitting. I love shopping online because because you can easily compare frames and lenses. The custom experience was great from making sure my prescription was correct all the way to the support time. I will be returning to Befitting for my future Rx and sunglasses needs. If you don't get it right, they are there to help with your order AND returns!!

Defective Glasses, Quick Replacement

I experienced a defect with my year old glasses. Befitting was extremely responsive when I reported the issue. They asked for photos to understand and diagnose the issue and used the photos to quickly diagnose there was a defect. Befitting immediately determined that a replacement pair was warranted and I had my new glasses within about a week.

After I submitted my order

After I submitted my order, the staff members contacted me and showed how to save more money by using my insurance properly. The customer service was outstanding. Emily O and Becky in particular were top notch advocates for their clients (my wife and I).

Amazing

I went to a lot of different online stores for glasses and beefitting is by far the best selection and brand I like their try on tool it's accurate and I enjoyed it everything's done online I mean it's amazing The prices are good except multiple insurances can't go wrong with that. Customer service is amazing I had to call and do chat online on my questions were answered.
