Excellent service very friendly staff and made to feel very special

Looking for a birthday gift for my wife so went back to same store we bought from last year.
We were looked after by Helen, who just happened to be the same person who served us last time!
Helen was wonderful, a real star.
She was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, nothing was too much trouble.
I ended up spending more than planned, but got a beautiful diamond necklace at a very good price so very happy with the whole experience.

Just been to have a new watch sized and fitted. We were looked after by Louise and she was amazing. She was so welcoming and made us feel valued and appreciated. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she made the visit really enjoyable. She is a credit to the company! 🤩

I had a disappointing experience with Beaverbrooks where I was given a damaged watch and had to do a lot of chasing to get the replacement delivered.

The watch had a small but significant ding on the bevel of the clasp and was noticed when unboxing it at home.

Experience below:

- when collecting the original watch from the Metrocentre store, there were no pleasantries. Any time I've picked up a purchase from other retailers, I've been at least offered a coffee and there is some acknowledgement of a purchase being made. Previously when I went in to try on the watch before buying, I was at least offered a coffee.

- When sizing the original watch, the sales associate didn't listen properly or take notice of what I was saying, they took extra links out when I clearly needed and asked for one put back in.

- The watch was sized and handled without gloves or being wiped down before being given back to me and was handed over with fingerprint smudges all over the dial and bracelet sides.

- The watch was damaged as outlined above and mostly de-stickered before being given to me.

I then contacted customer service to flag the issue and arrange a replacement...

- The watch was marked as delivered back to Beaverbrooks on Monday 14th September, I then had to chase 4 times for an update on getting a replacement (15th, 17th x2, 18th). One of these time I chased was because I had been sent a link to review Beaverbrooks. I feel like this delay was unnecessary and not acceptable. It also wasn't acceptable that I was left chasing an update, on one occasion having to follow up the following day as there had been no reply. This is not in line with the experience I've had from other companies.

- I had to ask multiple times if the watch I had been given was a display model. I have been assured that it wasn't, but that doesn't explain the lack of stickers on the watch, and how it was available within an hour of ordering if it came from the warehouse.

I raised these issues above with Beaverbrooks customer service in a bid to sort things privately and they offered me 10% off a future service. I told them this was a disappointing offer and asked if there was anything else they could offer in line with what a colleague was offered when they had a similar issue with a damaged clap but they declined.

While I’m happy that watch was exchanged without quibbling, I do feel the overall experience could have been much better and took the shine off what should have a great moment buying an expensive time piece.

My husband and I buy all our jewellery from Beaverbrooks. The customer service is excellent,the staff at the metro centre branch are so friendly and very knowledgeable. Huge thanks to Phoebe for helping us buy our son's 21st birthday watch and also my birthday present this weekend.

Very pleasant salesman, not pushy just very helpful

Good selection of jewellery. Friendly staff, not pushy. Found what I was looking for asked to see the item and purchased it. I was able to use my blue light card so got a 10% discount which I am very happy about.

From the moment I entered the store I was attended to in a first class professional manner. The service was second to none and all of the staff, especially Pamela who looked after me from start to finish. An excellent shopping experience. Many thanks again.

My Planet Ocean 600 lost its helium escape valve. The watch is under warranty until December this year. I took it into the Omega Boutique in the Metro Centre Gateshead. I was dealt with by a very nice guy called Ed. No drama, took all my details and told me possibly upto 23weeks. Then a week later confirmation it had arrived at the repairers and would be getting repaired under warranty. Two more weeks and it's back on my wrist 😁... And to make a great experience even better, Ed even resized my bracelet as it was a little big after loosing weight. Over all an amazing service from start to finish. Well done Ed 👍

Lovely shopping experience at Beaverbrooks in the Metrocentre.

I reserved my watch online and collected it the same day as it was in stock.

Harriet was lovely, she greeted us when we entered the store, offered us a hot or cold drink and showed us to a nice comfortable seating area where we were able to take our time looking over the watch.

Harriet gave us time to chat whilst she checked a few things with her colleague Rob and then explained the functions of the Chronograph and then adjusted the bracelet to the size of my wrist.

The whole buying experience was very easy and nice and relaxed.
