Definitely sweet enough without the added sugar. Moist and full of cherries and nuts. Nothing like the hard bitter fruit cake we have all had. Love these cakes!

Even without added sugar the cake was much too sweet, which I was concerned about when I placed the order and reason to order this one. Reduce sugar from confectioned fruits by about 50%
