bCast is an amazing platform that is just like any other struggling business. Podcast is BIG BUSINESS to daily commuters! They have been running this company and doing an amazing job for sometime now. There were very few complaints until the hardship letter came out. That means that this is a good service and good company striving to do their best to pay employees and keep the lights on! It is easy to get angry and throw a bunch of nasty words & comments to express how you feel about the possibility of loosing a lifetime deal. Have you considered that the staff and employees at bCast are going through some tough decisions and hardships that must be dealt with. Under pressure it is hard to think clearly when your back is against the wall. What would you do in the same situation? There will be no lifetime service, if they go out of business anyway! Be kind, when people or businesses are trying to figure things out! Since you LOVE what they do so much, start telling your industry buddies and work family about what they do! Get their affiliate link and tell people about them. That can keep them growing and providing this service to the millions that need it! Have you thought about lending a helping hand to a fellow business so that they can survive, grow and scale? Please consider being kind and supporting them further with your action to spread the word about the quality of bCast's podcast platform! Businesses and people need to know how you feel about what they do. I am happy with bCast and from what I hear, they have had a change of heart and are not ending the lifetime deal. I loved this product and a company that is willing to listen to their customers. Thank you to bCast for continuing to offer lifetime support for those of use who took up the offer when the company was starting out. I do recommend this podcast platform for those that need it. The podcasts function great and the user experience is very good. Simple and quick to post new podcasts.

The product and service are great. The support team follows through and even a feature request was honored. This team really cares about making this product one of the best podcasting platforms.

Sure, they messed up with some messaging but don't believe all of the bad reviews. If you're looking for a solid podcast hosting platform bCast.fm is it.

Sometimes you have a company that is almost TOO good. That is bCast. You’ll find some reviews here that are low, but it’s not because of the quality of the service, it’s because of an announcement to end a LTD, that many took up. The announcment was QUICKLY reversed.

Hey, let’s be real… bCast is a great service. They helped my podcast launch EASILY and I never had a problem with it. NEVER. The service was spectacular.

Perhaps they simply gave away too much in the beginning, but they are working hard to keep those promises. The service is so good that I have absolutely no desire to try any other.

I recommend bCast. Try them out and see how easy it is to use there service. Don’t be swayed by the low reviews. The truth is, when we buy the AppSumo LTDs, it’s always a risk to be one of the first customers to buy a service. That’s a risk we gladly take in order to get a good deal. Sometimes, it’s a FANTASTIC deal. BCast is one of my favorite AppSumo deals.

I was looking for a Podcast platform and found bCast on AppSumo last year, it was a fledgling company but seemed to have the right enthusiasm and drive. A year down the road I have to admit, due to business pressures, I haven't used bCast to the degree I intended or hoped, however based on my limited experience the platform has been excellent. New features have been added, the support desk exemplary, the drive and passion from the proprietors unrelenting. Would I recommend bCast? Without hesitation.

There has been a recent business decision "brain-fart" which you may have heard about? I won't bore you with the details, suffice to say it was a poor decision, however the situation has been resolved and that resulted from the Business listening to their customers and showing a level of integrity rarely seen in the corporate world. I take my hat off to the owners. But enough of that.
Allow me to indulge you in the delights of some facts & figures that give an idea of the scale and commitment of bCast that I only recently became aware of to give some perspective.

This is a serious setup and one I would wholly recommend. If you need a Podcast, put your money where your mouth (audio) is and buy into bCast.

The platform is easy to use and has good features which allow for good SEO and people finding and downloading your podcasts. Analytics built in to see where podcasts are being listened to which countries.

This is a great platform for podcasters. I have 3 podcasts, all hosted here. The customer service is timely and very helpful. Highly recommend this service.

I have to say, that the recent experience has been less than stellar as it seems to be a company with management issues - but the product is steller and my son's podcast producer loves the platform and the service offered - so the word I would say is management get better and be as good as your product

I have been using bCast for 2 of my podcast. The platform is great! I am able to have it transcribe all my episodes so I can use the text on my website. The hosting service hasn't had a single issue. The user interface just got updated and looks great. I would recommend this to any podcaster looking for a hosting solution they can have complete control over.

I'm going to talk about the product itself, not the subscription fiasco that you'll read about in many other comments. I like the clean interface. I really appreciate the ability to add pre-, post-, and mid-roll audio inserts to any of my episodes, no matter how old. Their customer service has been responsive whenever I've had a question or problem.
The fifth star is reserved for when they make it easier and more convenient to change inserts for *all* episodes with a single click. As it stands, I have to scroll through almost 500 episodes, and can change only 25 at a time. So that's over an hour's worth of work every time I update an insert.
I hope the company survives, because I like the product a lot.

I highly recommend bCast. I bought bCast right at their beginning and I really love the effort they make. There are ongoing improvements and I appreciate it very much.

TLDR: They screwed up, but they fixed it quickly and it's a great product.

Yes, bCast screwed up with their announcement to lifetime deal customers... but they fixed it quickly. I was also angry when they did this, but within 3 days they reversed their decision, and decided to honor their initial deal.

I use bCast for my podcast every week. Great product, the ability to dynamically insert content is great... and it's been reliable for over a year since I started using it.

I chose bCast over a bunch of other podcast hosting platforms, after research and lots of recommendations for the others. Why? It's easy to use (great for a solopreneur!), it's got all the reach I need, tech support is friendly and superbly helpful. The only little tiny issue I have is their voice-to-text conversion for transcripts is not great (and sometimes hilarious), but I have Otter.ai to make up for that.

I've been using bCast for just over a year and the platform is easy to use, looks fantastic for my listeners and has great features overall.
Customer support is awesome, I always get a reply back quickly and they've been super helpful with answering my questions. I definitely recommend them!

Great platform for getting started with podcasting!

I gained lifetime access to Appsumo and I was happy. Now I bought a Legendary account. I like bCast for its simplicity. It is an application from the marketer for marketers. Everything works great and I even kept their logo in the player because I like it. Although you can read negative reviews of bad corporate strategy, the app is great.

I have been a loyal user for a few years now, and have been grateful for the support Bcast has given us and my two podcasts. Despite recent updates which have left me quite startled at first, I am glad to say the team has been open to admitting their mistakes and supporting their customers and overall listening. As a small business owner, I have also had to make difficult decisions, and understand that recognising and rectifying mistakes is not easy. Thanks for the support and for providing a great product.
