I have a mortgage with Barclays
I have a mortgage with Barclays. At close to the last minute my solicitors were
dropped from Barclays panel as a result of errors at the Barclays end of things.
My completion went through OK but a second firm had to be instructed to look after
Barclays interests.
From what I can gather, Barclays will not answer calls or respond to emails from my
solicitors.

We have thankfully been reinstated on the panel following on from the error made by Barclays, which resulting in our temporary suspension. We couldn't let you down, and are happy that we could still complete on your purchase.
Not everyone has a printer
It would be more helpful if you only deal with one person. Also if things need to be signed or you need a written statement from someone. You should print and send them my mail with a return envelope. Not everyone has access to a printer.

The best recommendation we've ever been given
They were recommended when we decided to take equity from our house. They kept us in the loop all the way through the process when we explained we had no printer they provided hard copies, from start to finish I couldn't fault them on and a single thing. A special thank you to Monika O'Donnel we completed in a just a few weeks .

I found it difficult doing it online and requested to have all paperwork sent by post to read and sign , this was agreed to do this but never happened , so had to go to my trinity finance to get them to print off all the paperwork and explain what I needed to do ,
Other than that it was a good service
