I ordered remnants on line.No problems ordering and the items arrived within a couple of days with no hassles. I was updated regularly about my order’s progress - which I really appreciate as I live in the Highlands and sometimes have problems with deliveries.

I bought 4 x reels of Egyptian cotton…
I bought 4 x reels of Egyptian cotton to spin into miniature rope for a colleague who is a professional model-shipwright. His particular requirement is for a soft finish to wrap around belaying pins- using the material to simulate 'running rigging' on a fine-scale model ship. Normally cotton is unsuitable for this purpose, but the exceptional quality of this product makes it ideal for the purpose. William Mowll .Hon Member of the Guild of Master Craftsmen UK since 1984

Calm and inspiring.
The workshop was exactly as described. The shop is a very calm and inspiring setting and Bevan's delivery of the session matched the place perfectly. It was a generous and thorough introduction to a huge subject in a short time. I had a great two hours absorbed in a simple thread.
