Highly recommended!

Richard and the team came and created a small porch over our front door and we love it. The team were efficient, friendly and very tidy. We're now thinking about what we can get them to do next!!

We had a wonderful experience contracting Barnwood to construct a new timber outbuilding to replace our very old Marley concrete garage. From start to finish Richard and his team impressed us with their craftsmanship, attention to detail, their commonsensical approach to solving all the problems that inevitably occur with any work of this nature. The result is a stunning structure. We simply could not be happier, and will definitely be engaging Barnwood again in the future for our other projects. I heartily recommend Richard and his team.

I had the existing solid, cheap stair banister in my house changed into spindles.
Initial quoting for the job was prompt, friendly and informative with advice and recommendations for the job. Richard & his team were then able to fit us in quickly soon after the stair parts got delivered. Fantastic job done, all neat and high quality work. Thrilled to see the new spindles in place after all these years!

Richard and the team have just built a wonderful green oak pergola in the most difficult of circumstances - sub-zero temperatures and having to work around an ancient vine. They were everything you could hope for - enthusiastic, courteous and very skilled.

We have used Barnwood Carpentry for the first time after reading some of their great reviews hoping they are true. And indeed they are! We are so happy with the service provided (fixing a rotten door frame, replacing the cat flap in glass door with clear glass). Richard and Gus have been amazing, very knowledgeable, skilled, hardworking and genuinely nice people. We will certainly use them again!

We have known and used Barnwood Carpentry for various tasks for 10 years. In that time they have designed and built us a bespoke summer house (we call it a 'Pavilion'), built oak bookcases for a library, constructed and fixed doors and windows, as well as taken on a variety of other smaller tasks.
