Excellent service
The service provided was courteous, friendly and done within timescale. The work carried out (some paint scrapes and a small door dent) was so good, I couldn't see where they had been, the paint match was excellent. They kept in contact as to what was happening and the final bill was as agreed. Excellent service. Have no hesitation in using them again if I need to.

Barnet Motor Medics carried out a 30,000 mile service and diagnostics on my Range Rover Evoque at a MUCH more reasonable price than the main dealer, without any compromise on main dealer expertise. Everything was explained clearly, and their friendly approach and clear communication made the whole experience stress-free. Highly recommended for anyone who would rather spend their maintenance budget on the vehicle itself than on flashy premises and “free” coffee.

Took advantage with astronomical prices
Had an issue with my van.
They performed a diagnostic test to unearth the issue.
After less than 20 minutes the mechanic told me the water pipe was loose/detached.
He reattached the pipe added 2L of radiator water and 2L of tap water.
Whole experience with Barnet motor medics was 20 minutes and they charged me £180 for simply reattaching a loose pipe and 4L of water.
I would not recommend taking your vehicle here if you would like to be charged fair/reasonable prices.

While the repair may have appeared straightforward, our pricing reflects more than just the physical fix—it also includes the time, expertise, and use of diagnostic equipment required to accurately identify and resolve the issue.
We would also like to clarify a few details. As you mentioned, you had previously taken the vehicle to another garage, which was unable to identify the source of the overheating problem. When you brought the vehicle to us, we took all the information you provided and passed it on to our technician, who began by performing a full diagnostic scan. A report of this scan was given to you.
The stored fault codes found in the vehicle's memory were unrelated to the cooling system, and this was explained to you. Once the technician determined that the issue wasn’t electronic, they continued investigating manually. The coolant level was found to be low, so the system was topped up, and the engine was run to test the operation of the fans and other related components.
During this process, the technician noticed a fluid leak. Upon closer inspection, they discovered that the overflow pipe was ajar from the expansion bottle. This pipe is located under the wiper scuttle trims and is not easily visible, which is why it wasn't immediately obvious. Once identified, the pipe was securely reattached, the coolant was topped up again to the correct level, and the system was tested to ensure sufficient temperature protection.
All systems were rechecked and confirmed to be functioning correctly. We advised you of our findings and recommended that you monitor the vehicle. We also informed you of our 3-month warranty on diagnostic work, during which time you're welcome to return should the issue persist.
When we mentioned the loose pipe, you indicated that someone else had recently inspected the van, and it was possible they may have left it disconnected—suggesting that the issue may have existed before the vehicle was brought to them.
We always strive to be fair and transparent with our pricing, and we take feedback seriously as it helps us continue improving our service.

Barnet Motor Medics: mechanics you can trust
Barnet Motor Medics did an AMAZING repair job after I scratched both offside doors and handle really badly and also dented the bottom of the rear door.
I am speechless at the fantastic job that was done in the body shop: the car looks BRAND NEW, you couldn’t tell that it had been scratched or dented at all. I took the car in at 4pm on a Monday afternoon and it was ready for collection by Thursday morning. I also arranged for a re-gas of the air con, and it’s brilliant now - such cold air on an extremely hot day. My car had also been thoroughly cleaned, inside and out; it is now spotless.
Hitesh took care of everything for me and I cannot praise him highly enough for his professionalism, competence, reassurance and kindness. The price I paid was less than half of that quoted by the dealership from which I originally purchased the car.
You’d be mad not to come to Barnet Motor Medics; I certainly will be back for my MOTs and services - it’s an absolute no brainer!

I can honestly say this is the most helpful garage I've come across in the UK. First of all, they really take the time to listen to you and thoroughly go over the issues with your car. Their customer service response time is very fast—something you rarely see, if ever, at other garages.
My car, a BMW 330i, went through extensive maintenance. They used Castrol oil and very professional-grade equipment. They also give you options when it comes to parts—whether you want original or aftermarket—depending on your budget, which is great. They don’t come back to you with nonsense like “we have strict rules” or anything like that. Instead, they’re confident in what they do and it shows.
I definitely recommend them—great team and genuinely good people.

Impressive, honest and highly professional customer service...
I greatly appreciated the highly professional approach to customer service from start to finish i.e. properly listening and taking onboard my concern about the car, recommending a diagnostic and stating the cost then explaining what happens next and what the potential options could be. They messaged me with pics and video of what they discovered and gave me an accurate quote of what the final cost would be incl VAT (I am accustomed to garages upselling and adding things on without appropriate consent). They also completed the work a little sooner than they originally envisaged and kept me informed along the way. Final touch was finding a thoroughly cleaned and valeted car when I arrived to pay and collect - that's great service!
