My first order and wasn't disappointed lovely meat pack 😋 can definitely taste fresh products came well packaged and delivered by a lovely bloke caint wait to order again 😊 thankyou so much to all the staff ❤️

Produce excellent, packaging not very clever putting eggs (4 broke)in box with tinned items ,also asked for delivery Thursday arrived late Friday night,,,,possibly the best black pudding ever xxxxxx

steak pies but just mince meat.
bought 2 both the same.
wont go back as the quality and ingredients have gone down hill.

Was ordering this morning at the counter by a young dark haired girl,not been in before and because i ordered meat randomly from memory she says “can I order from the same end of the counter “so she doesn’t have to go back and forth 😂 the shop is only small,good job i don’t take things personally,not good for business though 🤷

The staff help me as I came 2 days early for my order but they still fulfilled my order

Purchased a lamb and mint pie for my parents only to find out when served that it was shredded chicken !
Unfortunately they don’t usually like chicken especially the pure shredded type😞

Always great meats and customer service. The website is way to use and the prices are good too.

Barlow’s turned a normal day at the office into a wonderful day filled with festive food for our staff by serving us a delicious Hog Roast with sides for our annual Christmas staff lunch. Thank you for the fantastic meal and service! We will definitely be getting you back.

I feel the quality of the last two topside joints were not up to the standards I expect from Barlows. The beef was tough and had a high fat content. Very disappointed will be trying another butcher.

Our small order just for two arrived on time, delivered by lovely friendly chap. Everything was perfect, the Gammon to die for, Pork Pie delicious (best we've had) Lamb very very tasty. Highly recommended. Thank you Barlows

Have used Barlows since it was recommended to me over 10 years ago! Always stocked up on the trays of chicken breast but we love everything and never had anything that wasn’t the best quality - whether that’s pies, cobs or meat it’s always the best! Staff are so lovely and welcoming too it’s always a pleasure

I would never have my meat delivered from this butcher. Why? Because then I would miss the fantastic display of all the many ways they supply meat products in that gorgeous display counter., but mostly because of the excellent customer service by such lovely staff. I am very picky about my meat but everyone in the Nuncargate shop do all they can to see that I get just what I want in top quality produce. I am more than happy to travel the 7 miles each way. I have done so for several years and will continue as long as I am able.

The quality of the silver hamper at Christmas was fantastic. The turkey crown was big enough to cut in half and freeze as was the pork joint. Brilliant value for money.

First time we have ordered the Christmas meat bundle and we weren't disappointed- everything tasted beautiful. We queued outside the shop to pick our order up, but staff came out and asked for our names who had ordered online and they fetched our order straight away. We will definitely have the Christmas bundle again, but we will also have the BBQ packs in the Summer.

Everything I ordered arrived and the meat was delicious.. order arrived a few days before expected but luckily someone was home. Would definitely recommend Barlows Butchers .. this is our 2nd year of using them.

The lasagna that they make is way too sloppy and not enough pasta , the pasta that is in there is cooked too much before it is made , so when it is reheated the past just disintegrates, certainly won't buy it again.

Shop here almost every week. Best quality meats and a variety of prepared meals at good value. Have to recommend Ashfield Sausages as our new favourite sausages.
