From my first conversation & consultation I felt listened too and all my questions were answered with all the information I requested.
I decided on a breast lift & enlargement which I’ve wanted my whole life. I have Tuberous breast deformity, which the very wonderful Dr Baris explained to me.
I decided to go for the procedure on my own from the UK. This was a brave decision, I was nervous about this.
However I never once felt abandoned or without support, from been collected from the airport, taken to the hotel from the hospital or any questions I messaged day & night to both Emre & Umut my coordinates.
The hospital is so so clean, with my own private room that had everything I needed for my over night stay after surgery.
Yes the language barrier at time was difficult but through sign language, myself and all the wonderful nurses managed to somehow communicate.
Dr Baris is truly a very talented surgeon, he had a big task basically reconstructing my deformed breast. I sitting here in tears of joy how this amazing man had transformed my life, my confidence with the results of my breast.
With each of my questions he explained in much detail so I understood everything that was going to happen before, during and after the operation. Dr Baris also no matter how busy he is takes his time during each check up after the operation. I had a slight worry about a red mark and txt Emre and within 10 minutes I was told a driver would collect me so Dr Baris could see me. The Red mark was nothing to worry about but the reassurance meant everything to me.
Emre is such a positive person, and his English was outstanding. He kept me clam before the opp and translated so I had a clear understanding of what was happening.
All the nurses were so caring, kind and professional.
If you are looking g for a fantastic surgeon and great medical care from all the nurses Vanity is the cosmetic hospital for you.

at Vanity with Dr. Barış Kanık. The facility was great . Everyone was very attentive and helpful. Dr. Barış was such a nice person. After introducing himself, he listened to my concerns and expectations carefully. Then he explained the details I need to know. The procedure didn't take longer than a few minutes. He then told me dos and don'ts to get the best results. He literally spent more time informing me about the procedure than doing the procedure itself which clearly shows that he cares about his patients. Just got back from a follow up appiontment with him. Very happy with the results already and I'm so glad that I chose him as my doctor. Totally recommended and I will definitely come back for more, Dr. Barış!

If you have concerns about travelling to Turkey let me offer you comfort. I won't deny I had my worries but I have to say my experience with everyone associated with this clinic was outstanding. I found them online having been on a waiting list somewhere else. I reached out in WhatsApp and I was answered extremely quickly. Before i knew it I was booked in, exchanging and filling in medical forms. Sending my passport details and booking flights. I arrived in Istanbul with my contact, Umut, responding immediately and had a driver (I didn't catch his name but a really nice guy) waiting for me. Any worries or questions at all, I always had a reassuring message. My surgeon was Dr Baris, he is such a lovely guy and took all of my medical problems into account before surgery and was at the other end of the phone to talk to the nurse removing my stitches when I got home without hesitation. I would highly recommend Dr Baris.. you will be in good caring hands. And, enjoy Istanbul... it's beautiful

My experience at Vanity was really wonderful!! From the very beginning, Gizem Oslu, the billing and procedure coordinator, was so kind, patient, thorough, and supportive. We stayed in constant contact right up to the day of my procedures. At that time, Berfin Alagos, the patient coordinator, took over as liaison. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, and always kind and patient when answering any of my many questions.

Dr. Baris performed all of my procedures, and he was also very detailed, thorough, patient, and kind. I was very happy with the final results.

I also had dental work performed to try and correct or relieve my severe TMJ. Dr. Beril was an extremely thorough doctor and has an outstanding staff working with her. Today, I no longer have any TMJ issues thanks to Dr. Beril.

Vanity housed us at Mercure Hotel, and the staff were very attentive and helpful post surgeries.

I had to get lymphatic drain massages post-surgery, and Vanity set everything up for me. Burak, the massage therapist, was very skilled in his craft, and helped speed up my recovery process.

I don't know all of the names of the excellent staff, such as, hotel staff, transport (drivers), healthcare and hospital workers that assisted me during my stay, but they all deserve to be acknowledged for their dedication to providing superior service. Thank you!!

PICS AVAILABLE ON TWITTER X .I almost died in Vanity Estetik Hospital due Negligence by the hands of Butcher Baris Kanik HIS HANDS ARE HARAM and the team of nurses of the 4th floor room 401.Supposedly to get a neck lift and upper-lower blepharoplasty,the surgery day was scheduled at 11:00 which took place at 15:00,Upon realizing KANIK was running behind I asked the front desk nurses what was happening,they responded that the 7AM patient before me under KANIK was having complications, that is when the nightmare took place.At 15pm they took me into the surgery room. Scheduled for 4 hours took 6 hours of full negligence,then when the nurse came to apply the antibiotic on my eyes pushed the eyeball with the tip rupturing the small vessels and capillaries on the white part of my right eye, later I requested help to get to the bathroom they didn't even bother to help me out to stand so the let me fall right on the floor,hitting my head straight on the floor passing out due a vagal syncope,they were lost as to how to proceed in an emergency like this, certainly THEY ARE NOT PROFESSIONALLY PREPARED FOR THIS KIND OF EMERGENCY. No one even bothered to help me out til PARAMEDICS showed up and decided to remove me from the VANITY PREMISES (smart move from Vanity not to be liable for my death ,if I‘d died I would have died LEGALLY somewhere else out of Vanity)A whole team of useless nurses that even couldn't find my veins to apply some hydration poking me multiple times.I was RUSHED OUT to the ACADEMIC HOSPITAL 20 min away to let me die there once removed from Vanity ,then they sent a"self proclaimed"nurse just to verbally sign documents , disclaimers & waivers where they will not be liable for anything so they can wash their hands and walk away from their negligence.Ayse was nothing but a translator that has no degree or background in the medical field with the sole purpose of pushing me with legalities and useless talk ,as the second day went by I realized my lower eyelids were surgically accessed from the outside eyeline right below the eyelashes, when we had pre discussed it had to be from the inside only, now I have terrible asymmetrical scars with ECTROPION DISPLACEMENT,on top of that the clumsy hands of Baris dropped the electric cauterizer on my Face & Neck twice, the burn created a 8 mm wide tunnel orifice that connects the inside of the internal eyelid with the external skin, now I have a massive crater hole under my right eyelid and neck(see pics and judge by yourself)during communication with Baris ,he ACKNOWLEDGED the DESTRUCTION of the skin and internal tissues,response:"keep using cream "just like that, in regards my neck the disfiguration and massacre of the back of my neck is imminent ,this was out of his hands & control so he RUSHED to stitch all the surgical flaps and edges irregularly overcorrecting it passing the blame on me claiming "I had too much skin”,wasn't he supposedly there to fix it? ACKNOWLEDGING "it will need further revision".After contacting them via whatsapp Ayse decided to STOP communication,when I asked details IN WRITING of the revision and if they were going to be $ responsible for it They STOPPED.On Other NOTE by further investigation the Turkish Ministry of Health has recorded previous malpractice complaints in regards Vanity ( who has been practicing in Vanity Clinic only for a month) in connection with the lack of professionalism and former similar cases of malpractice previously occurred in this Clinic.Case are not given to Public but here are a few Case 8472 8255 USHAS Uluslararasi Saglik Hizmetleri , CALL International Health Services Call Center 24/7 908502883838 THOSE OTHER CASES WERE PROVIDED BY OTHER TURKISH CLINICS to me who WARNED me in regards Vanity. CAUTION: STAY AWAY FROM THIS SLAUGHTER HOUSE ! LATER ON THEY STOPPED ANY COMMUNICATION WITH ME AND DELETED ALL DOCUMENTS & FORMER CORRESPONDENCE VIA WHATSAPP. The dr. Baris made my experience calm and tranquility. I trusted him and he gave me the security about my expectations and help me to chose the best for myself. It was my first surgery I know is really important to trust in your doctor, and he make me feel comfortable, safe and work on the best results to me. I’m happy and I truly recommend it.

Although the post-surgery response team wasn’t as proactive as I had hoped, efforts were made to improve that. I had my surgery on the 18th of August and I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience.

My journey started with Umut, the sales coordinator. He was incredibly patient and answered all of my endless questions without ever making me feel like a burden. Travelling alone for surgery was daunting, but he made sure every detail was taken care of and that I felt supported from the very beginning.

Choosing a surgeon in Istanbul can feel overwhelming with so many options, and I was initially unsure. However, I can confidently say that picking Dr. Barış was the best decision I made. From our first meeting, he was warm, caring, and professional. He took the time to explain the different surgical options available and gave me honest, thoughtful advice. I trusted his professional opinion and felt completely reassured.

After surgery, Dr. Barış personally checked on me to ensure I was comfortable, and again the following day before I was discharged. That level of care really made a difference.

I had breast surgery with Dr. Baris Kanik and I am truly grateful for the whole experience. At first I was not sure if Dr Baris could handle my case well as I didn’t see a lot of similar patients on his Instagram. Turns out he is very very brilliant, just not as Instagram-y. He attended so well to my peculiar case, doing his home work, remembering every detail and suggesting the best procedures and methods so I could achieve the best outcomes for my body type and body goals while minimising any risks. Today is one day post op and when the nurses came to change my dressing I was thrilled at my results. There is still swelling of course but I can see the outline of my new shape. I had belly and waist lipo, and with my medical history including three abdominal surgeries in the past, I am so excited and thankful to Dr Baris. He is very attentive, very experienced and thorough and does his absolute best for his patients. I am beyond impressed.
