COLLECTIVELY CLUELESS & CORRUPT

Just received a letter from Fortiva/Bank of America that says I'm saying something I never said while completely ignorant to what I actually did say.
Backwards idiocy/incompetency to the MAX!

I HAVE THE PROOF,
they offered me a Credit Increase one day with N🚫 mention of a FEE.

I TOOK THE OFFER.

The next day I received another email with the same OFFER BUT WITH A FEE now mentioned this time.

I have copies of both emails.

I contacted for Fortiva to ask them if this wasn't an additional offer or did they screw up and charge me for the first offer.

THEY CANNOT ADMIT THEY SCREWED UP.
THEY CANNOT EVEN SAY THE WORDS!!

Subject: PREDATORY, UNETHICAL, AND DISMISSIVE PRACTICES – SHOW CREDIT CARD / BANK OF MISSOURI

TITLE: PREDATORY AND ABUSIVE PRACTICES – NO HARDSHIP, ONLY HARASSMENT

REVIEW:
This company is a disgrace. I reached out about my financial hardship and made it clear I wanted WRITTEN COMMUNICATION ONLY — my legal right under the FDCPA. Instead of offering help, Show Credit Card (Bank of Missouri) continued to pile on late fees and even tacked on an annual fee, pushing my minimum over $200! I’ve received nothing but harassment texts and canned responses.

This is an abusive and predatory operation that preys on struggling consumers. There’s ZERO compassion, ZERO accountability, and ZERO compliance with consumer protection laws. I’ve already filed with the CFPB, BBB, and FTC — and I will continue to report every violation. Consumers, BE WARNED.

I wish I see 0 stars for this bank I have this bank credit card it’s my 1st month and I make my first payment 4 days before on my due date I put my account number correct I double check I keep calling every day why you guys not taking out money from my bank account they say everything is ok with your side we have a some delay then after my billing cycle closed they returned my payment from they have a issue and put me late fees plus they sent high balance to my credit berau this is bulshit if it’s thier fault why they sent wrong report once I saw my payment return then I pay from my debit card still they are not fixing my report please do not take this credit card

Outrageous Fees and sneaky increases

Outrageous Fees and sneaky increases, not in credit limit either.
Milestone Mastercard.
Have had one card for a year and all seemed great, until I received a notice of increase to the annual fee. Now billed monthly at 19 and change for a total of roughly $240 a year!!
Then a few weeks back, after prompts on their app, when paying my card, I applied for the same card but with a $1000 limit and was approved. Within 2 days and them probably not even printing a card yet Im notified of a $250 fee for it. The annual fee from day one. They don't even give you a year before hitting you with it let alone waiting until you've even activated your account. Greed and I hope they get theirs some day.
Not sure how the editor comes up with a 3 out of 5 rating?!
I'd run from this brand and fast. I'll be terminating my accounts ASAP

highly unethical usury, exorbitant fees

Take heed and don't go anywhere near their credit cards.
Here's their terms:
- Up to $2000 credit limit
- APR is 36.00 percent, the highest I've ever seen on a credit card.
$175 annual fee starting first year
$150 a year in addition (!!!) called a maintenance fee, charged monthly because they know you're going to try to get away from them as soon as possible once you see all these things so they better get with they can ASAP. Thankfully the law dictates they do have to inform people of these terms. What contempt they show their fellow humans, especially those financially struggling. If this were the year 20 AD(CE) a certain carpenter would be tipping over their tables.

Now, the benefits... 2% on gas? Nope, 1% at restaurants? heck no. Your benefits are zero zilch nada. Presumably they don't break your kneecaps but I imagine You get a decent amount at least with the mafia.

Asian hate…

I had a bank account with this company in Fair Grove Missouri. After some time I became familiar with all of the staff. In general conversation the manager found out that I was in a international interracial relationship. She became vulgar profane and threatening. She repeated these nasty comments three times in a row I was going to block my bank account so that I could not send money overseas. Subsequently and I find it very suspicious I became overdrawn and my account was closed. I have since satisfied this payment but now I have a terrible credit rating from the whole incident and nobody will help me remove it or resolve it in my favor and nobody cares!

I applied for a First Phase Credit and…

I applied for a First Phase Credit and it goes through the Bank of Missouri and now the bank is cutting the First Phase credit card from them. And now the First Phase credit Card Company Wants its customers to pay off their accounts. It is not our fault that the bank let the Credit Card company go. And we should not have to off the account we have. I was going to pay the credit card my $80.00 payment but they said they want the whole balance. Bull crap
Effective June 1, 2023, all First Phase accounts were closed. All attempted Purchase and Cash Advance transactions will now be declined. And they keep calling me.

This company lies to people

This company lies to people, refuses to help, discriminates against people and REFUSE to do their jobs!! They are all about profit and not customers!! I’ve been a loyal customer with numerous accounts- that ends today!! I’ve reported them to the CFPB, BBB and attorney general!

Dishonest and shady!

I had a Fortiva credit card through Bank of Missouri and I closed the account last year. They've continued to charge me a $10 monthly maintenance fee because I've been paying it off and maintaining a balance. A few days ago they also charged me an annual fee... for a closed account that I cannot use anymore! I called up and said remove the fee and I will pay off the balance in full right now. They refuse to remove the annual fee. I filed a complaint with the BBB and am also filing a complaint with the NYS AG office against this business.

ALSO: This business has lost it's BBB accredation!!
