Unfortunately, the trip did not adhere to the promised itinerary. While I understand that weather conditions may affect certain activities such as cliff jumping, several scheduled archaeological site visits were omitted without any explanation.

Additionally, without any prior notification or consent, I was redirected to another company and required to follow their separate itinerary. This lack of communication was unprofessional and directly impacted my ability to experience the tour I originally booked and paid for with Banbanjara. The difference between the itinerary of the two companies was around 8-9 spots, which coat around 1000-1200 rs.

When I addressed this concern through the support numbers provided, a representative from your team had committed to providing a resolution and partial refund by Monday, January 26. However, my follow-up attempts on the same day went unanswered. I was later informed that the delay was due to a holiday, despite the earlier confirmation of this deadline from the same representative. The same thing was repeated multiple times. My calls and messages were ignored and once in a blue moon when they did respond, they falsely promised me a resolution by a future date, which again remained unfulfilled. I wish there were a rating lower than 1 for the experience I had with this company.

The trip got cancelled because of them and now they are not refunding the advance and they are not picking up the call.

It was good! But I had a concern that the last day change of plans was a bit disappointing, but the trek and other experiences were nice !

I have taken two trekking trips with Banbanjara, and unfortunately both experiences were disappointing due to poor communication and last-minute changes.

Trip 1 (Kudremukh > Kumara Parvatha):
We originally booked Kudremukh, but on the last day it was changed to Kumara Parvatha. We left our rooms early to reach the pickup point by 7 PM, and while already on the metro we received a message at 6:30 PM saying the pickup time had been shifted to 9 PM.
The bus provided was in very bad condition with almost no suspension. The trek was operated by Native Trekkers, the guides were good and professional. However, for Kumara Parvatha there is only one water source near the starting point, and this critical information was shared only when we had almost reached the trek start, leaving us no way to carry enough water for the 14 km up-and-down trek.

Trip 2 (Netravati > Kudremukh):
Again, we booked Netravati, and once again the trek was changed at the last moment, this time to Kudremukh. The pickup time issue was exactly the same as before: informed at 6:30 PM that the pickup had shifted from 7 PM to 9 PM, after we had already left our rooms.
They provided tents for sleeping, but there was no insulation from the cold ground, which affected many people. I asked for an extra blanket due to the cold, but the request was denied. There is also a fixed hotel tie-up for the last-day lunch, which we are required to pay for separately, and the food served was consistently tasteless.

Additionally, the Banbanjara website is very poorly designed. You cannot easily view booking details, and there are multiple bugs.

Overall:
The trekking guides were good and often compensated for Banbanjara’s operational issues. However, the frequent last-minute trek changes, poor communication, uncomfortable travel arrangements, and lack of transparency make the experience frustrating. When you book with Banbanjara, it feels like they decide where you go, not you.
I would strongly recommend booking with a more reliable trek organizer.

Avoid if you don’t want last-minute surprises. Extremely unprofessional and unreliable service.
We were a group of three friends with a confirmed and paid Netravati trek booking made 16 days in advance through BanBanjara.
On the day of departure, we were informed via a call that the trek was cancelled: with no prior notice, no contingency plan, and no accountability, despite us having already planned leaves, travel, and logistics.
Cancelling a paid and confirmed booking at the last moment is unacceptable. Think twice before booking with BanBanjara.

We booked a evening trip for the amagarh safari and we got the tickets not trlling us what time the trip was. So at 3 pm i wrote them an message asking for the tickets and the time and location.
Five minutes after they called me to ask me where we were as the tour had just started. I argued that evening is from 6 pm but no. I should have looked online.

The vehicle was so bad that we could not take a breath. We could have booked 4 star rating hotels for the trip. The vehicle we were traveling in, we waited for 4 hours in the forest , the night was wasted because of you . No information was provided that said we have to wait for four hours in the forest. When we talked about the refund, no one was talking about the trip, it was not comfortable and we have paid full amount for the trip. There were no snakes provided , if you know that you have to wait for 4 hours in a vehicle that was suffocated. There was no sleep in 1 day, how can you assume that we can enjoy a trip. 
when we did not sleep mat night, how can you assume that we can enjoy the other day. The next day I went to a hotel and asked that we have to leave in 1 hour for all the reasons that include bathing, being fresh, changing dress etc. After traveling for 10 hours, you asked to be ready in an hour. How can a person be ready in an hour who has traveled 10 hours? in the same vehicle.
we did manage the day while traveling,  and the night came with scary moment, we were 14 peoples and room were 2 only. Now you tell me how come we have to manage 14 people in 2 rooms..
and the room you provided, was considered for 2 people only. Now you tell me , how can a couple adjust to that and I have my wife with me. We have to sleep on the floor overnight and with unknown people. 
If that is your service for the people who booked from your website and we booked this trip to make my mind relax and whatever you provided that is insane. Do you do the same thing with your family? 
Now you tell me how I can trust you for further booking. You had mentioned about the refund and now you have not responded to my email. That shows that you are not responsible for any person who booked from the website. 
We tried many times to contact you but there was no response from you. Now you tell me how I can trust your website even after paying more price than others.

Very dishonest business. They will say anything to take your money and then refuse refunds on spurious grounds. I booked a 4 day trek fron Manali with my daughter. We did all the discussions via WhatsApp phone and messaging. Because the monsoon was still happening I clearly asked them about is the weather causing problems. They very firmly said no problems it's all good. However, what they didn't tell me was that Manali busses could not get there. My bus was cancelled at the last minute as the road to manali was impossible for busses. I informed them and asked for a refund. However, despite they told me that there were no weather problems they just refused a refund and kept my monies.
As I had specifically asked about weather it is clear they are dishonest and do not care about their customers. Avoid at all costs if you don't want to be ripped off.

They are running a scam.Please dont go with them.They cancel last minute for trek saying no permits especially for famous treks near Bangalore and the services provided by them is very very bad

Had taken a short trip with them last month. Everything was recently managed. The stay was clean, food was okay-ish but the place was beautiful so didn't mind much.

Booked and paid for safari to Bandipur, 1 week before they cancel leaving me no hope of rebooking, all because they couldn't be bothered to call an international phone number or email me/whatsapp me to ask I call them. Disgusting company

I booked safari tickets online for Kabini National Park on a site that purported to sell Park entries to major wildlife parks across the country. Before purchasing, I carefully read the cancellation and refunds policy which stated that cancellation requests would be considered within 7 days of purchase. The next day I realised that accommodation in the park provides the safari tickets in their package. I requested cancellation of the tickets. The operations team came back to me on WhatsApp to rudely reject the request for a refund and persisted to bully and threaten me when I insisted on a refund. They cited a line in their terms and conditions which purported to say no refund was possible. No complaint procedure was provided at my request.

I had an awful experience with this camping site at Nandi hills. The property was tiny, lacked all basic amenities, and was nothing like the pictures they advertised. I booked a premium tent, but they claimed it was sold out. Worse still, we were the only ones there—no other campers, making the place feel isolated and unsafe.

The photos on their site are completely fake, as I later found the same images used on other websites. To top it off, there’s no option to leave a review on their website, which makes me suspect the reviews they’ve posted are fabricated. We left within an hour of arriving. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs!

I did a "3-day" Ooty trip from Bangalore on 28 June 2024. Remember the "first day" of your trip starts at 10 PM for your overnight travel to Ooty. It would have been appreciated if the tour company had notified the "bus" was a Tempo Traveller so passengers could prepare themselves for an uncomfortable journey. The pickup details were shared 5-6 hours before the overnight journey despite my multiple requests to the tour company to provide the details in advance to plan my logout from work. As for as the "tour guide", he only wanted to sleep and hurry us up everywhere as he wanted to get back to Bangalore before the metro services ended, despite the itinerary saying that the return would be around 1-2 AM. The itinerary of the day, the bathroom breaks, the payment mode at different entry sites were not communicated leaving the passengers frustrated with the way the trip was organized. The only communication the group received was via WhatsApp messages from the tour guide telling us to get back to the vehicle. The cherry on top was the fact that the train ride was not organized by the tour guide/company in advance. When asked on the very first morning of the trip, the tour guide kept dilly dallying with excuses until we were finally told the train ride was not possible without advance booking. This left the passengers even more frustrated as the train ride through the Nilgiri hills was the highlight of the trip. The least that the tour company could have done is communicate this in advance so the passengers could have booked the train ride by themselves online, in advance, or reconsider booking the Ooty trip at the last minute, which was the case for some passengers.

It's fraud website. There was a big scam with us. Our team left alone at Balu ka Ghera. We have booked a package for Hampta paas Trek. But team left us for die at Balu ka Ghera location. We took package from Manali to Manali. But no one came to leave us. We had to pay and booked a taxi for go back to Manali. Even our safety was not taken care of. I suggest that don't took package from this website.

Hey there, I enjoyed going with you guys. People in the company are really helpful. I did have some issue but they solved it in no time. The food was nice. All over a good trip to remember.

BanBanjara basically takes booking and pass it on to some other tour agent/company. Once you do the payment then they would not listen to anything. Their complaint team won't pickup calls. Only sales team will pick up and they would tell you that we will ask our complain team to call you which they never do.

I had booked a trek for Gokarna and itinerary had Mirjan Fort and Jog Falls as well.. but both the fort and falls were not covered.. package included breakfast which was provided at 3pm and 1 pm respectively for the two days of the tour. Only rice and poori were given along with tea in breakfast after 12 plus hours of travel. The sales team told that for sleeping we would get a mattress or sleeping bag but were given a chatai and bedsheet over it. The pickup bus was also late by 3 hours and it was quite uncomfortable. They picked us up at 1am and drove without stopping for food till 3pm. Basically entire tour was mismanaged. Now its been a week and still their complain team is not picking up nor they care to call me.

Not going to book or suggest anyone to book with them.

They do not have their own tents or stays

Him trek is the one with whom they have tie up and they will offer everything and you get nothing

Had booked an Itinerary with BanBanjara. They have a tie up with HimTrek but the the information passed on by BanBanjara to us and to HimTrek were totally different and hence we weren't offered the service which we paid for to BanBanjara.

Had a very bad experience and will not be looking to book again.
