Don’t order it. I ordered to be more eco friendly. Waited AGES. Then it did finally arrive and the level of brush is rubbish. It just faintly buzzes near your teeth. I wouldn’t recommend it. I’ll be looking at suri instead

I found them very quick and efficient with excellent customer service but I now need replacement heads and won't be able to get them. Big disappointmet

I ordered 3 darn toothbrushes & replacement heads! Emailed last year to ask where they are. Said still trying to get them out. As of today never received them. Email bounced back last week! Took my money & ran. A lot spent on those brushes which were gifts also!

I'm very sorry the company has gone under. I received a beautiful toothbrush which works perfectly, but I won't be able to get any replacement heads. Very sad. Luckily I bought enough to last about a year.

Reading the reviews I realise that this company no longer exists but felt I should write this as a WARNING!! My toothbrush charging unit started to burn last night. Where the end plugs into it and the area around it are singed. The bathroom was full of acrid smoke and if it hadn't been in a cabinet, possibly would have caught fire. The cabinet is 6 months old so am fairly sure the unit is at fault.

Never received the 4x toothbrushes I paid over £100 for in July 2022. Followed up with “customer services” several times and ignored. Utter utter scam.

I bought two toothbrushes 2022 one did not work quite as described, I had bought one as gift but decided to try that instead and it has been working great since. If company still operating I would love to know how longe one should leave it on charge. This one works for a month without recharging the other needed recharging every few days. I am sorry for whatever start up problems the company had but the criticism expressed does not mean that it was a scam. I would love to know the real story

Ordered and paid for a Bambooi electric toothbrush February 2022, never delivered, no responses to emails I sent up until September 2022, Just a BIG SCAM don't buy Bambooi products.

It is now Spring 2023, and I have neither received our toothbrushes ordered Feb 2022 nor have I had any correspondence. Further, in waiting for the company to respond to my monthly emails, I missed the 6 months paypal money-back guarantee and now am no longer eligible. Such a ridiculous waste of time and money.

Unlike everyone else on this review, I did receive mine, but guess what it has stripped working after 6 months. What a waste of money when we all thought we were doing something to reduce plastic going to landfill at the end of life. Did not expect it to be so soon for this toothbrush.

I never received my toothbrushes. I originally thought it was taking so long because it was a kickstarter or something. Turns out they just took my money and ran. It’s unfortunate that one of the few sustainable products for oral care turned out to be a scam, especially when you don’t have much income in the first place and thought you’d invest in something good.

Well, I came here to write a review on the actual toothbrush and was surprised to discover that the company seems to have gone bust and that many people didn't even receive their toothbrush.

Mine took a very long time to arrive and I started using it in late January. It sounds like I can expect it to stop working in a few more months. I didn't buy any extra brush heads so I guess the toothbrush will become unusable as soon as the two that came with it have are worn out (I am using one and my daughter is using the other). It is the opposite of eco-friendly to have something that needs replacing so soon :(

In terms of the toothbrush itself, I don't like that either. It only vibrates, the brush doesn't rotate at all, so I'm not convinced of it's effectiveness. The noise it makes is truly obnoxious. The battery indicator doesn't seem to work properly. I guess I should be relieved that I'll have to buy a new toothbrush soon, but I'm disappointed that I was taken in by the environmental claims and that I've wasted my money.

Has anyone worked out how to get money back from this company seeing as they never delivered?

NE33 2EH have gone bust. It appears they took my money without ever intending to fulfil my order. I was scammed by this company and there’s no way to get my money back. I also see they received several rulings by the Advertising Standards Authority, but that’s all too late to help me and others. :(

I bought a toothbrush back in 2021, and it arrived in June 2022. I was excited to finally receive it; it is however now completely broken and keeps randomly turning on and off (without even touching the buttons). I've tried contacting the company, but my email has bounced back. Very disappointed.

In October 2021 I ordered a Bambooi brush and 15 boxes of replacement heads, enough for many years for myself and my husband. After months of no response about the January/ February 2022 delivery date, I just accepted that it might not arrive and be a scam.

My order arrived in June. The brush worked OK, looked nice, so I decided maybe it was just international shipping to the U.S. or supply issues. Fast-forward to December, not even 6 months later: 100% dead. The metal part attaching to the brush heads sunk into the brush, so the heads don't fit on, and the unit won't charge or turn on. Back to Sonicare, which I, fortunately, didn't get rid of and have used for 8 years!

As one of many who Bambooi have scammed, I've bene keeping an eye on the company. It looks like its being liquidated by Accountants - RMT, Gosporth Park Avenue, Newcastle.
I've also found a load of the toothbrushes being sold at auction by BPI Auctions (Good luck to whoever buys those!).
I'm going to email RMT to lodge my claim although I don't expect any money back but it might raise awareness of what Lewis Bryden has done & stop him trying to trade again. What a shame its ended like this.

Unfortunately, like many others writing here, my experience has been pretty rubbish.
I was lucky enough to receive the electric toothbrush but after a few months of use, it will no longer hold charge for more than a day. The company has since ceased trading and I am unable to buy new heads for it anyway.
It's a shame this has happened to myself and others as I think we all hoped to be buying a new product that would be better for the environment. Instead, we have ended up with nothing, or something that no longer works. Back to the Oral B for me.

Over a year ago I ordered 3 toothbrushes and many spare heads. They arrived eventually (about 5 months later) and I didn't get on with them. I returned them. No acknowledgement of the return until, after much chasing, they said they had them (they noted the way I'd packed them) and said they'd tested them and I'd been using them incorrectly. I said I wanted a refund not a refurbished return of the items I'd sent back.
I was told I had to delete my original bad review of Bambooi (because of lack of contact, info etc), because that was affecting the refund, (which I did!) and then they'd put my refund request to the refunds committee.
Obviously, I've never heard anything else and don't know what happened to my request for the returned items to be refunded.
Happy to hear from you Bambooi - you know who I am.
I'd happily respond to contact from Bambooi but they don't seem to be interested.
Companies House was going to strike off Bambooi but received an objection. Lewis James Bryden filed accounts in Nov 21; it looks like he's the one who filed the change of registered office address info in December 2022. Would be happy to hear from Mr Bryden.

Ordered and have never received my brush and spare heads. It’s been so long now I can’t even remember when I actually ordered it. Sent several emails to enquire how long will it be and got back generic replies.
Appears I’ve been scammed 😡
