The product I received was completely different from the one shown in the image. Unfortunately, because I trusted the company, I hadn't bothered to read the product description—which, as it turned out, matched the item actually sent. When I explained that I had ordered the item shown in the picture and that the product I received was intended for a different use, they didn't even care; they simply insisted that the item matched the description and claimed the correct product had been sent. If you buy trousers online and the listing says "100% cotton," and the item you receive is indeed 100% cotton but looks different from the photo, it is naturally considered the wrong product, and the seller should cover the return costs! Instead, they told me I could return it only if I covered the return shipping myself—for a shipment error that wasn't even my fault. Their customer service is not solution-oriented, and I will never consider shopping with them again.

Whoever is on this site's WhatsApp line is trying to argue and get the upper hand instead of helping you. Dealing with these people is nothing but a frustratement. I said the product information on the site is incomplete and misleading. The person says they provide information on the products you want upon request. It's a joke. You have to look at dozens of products and choose. There's no proper information on the screen. You have to request information individually.
I ordered two portions of kadayif (a type of Turkish dessert). Something colored with bright orange food coloring arrived. I had to throw it away. The person on the WhatsApp line is just making fun of me by saying I should have requested information about the product.

Save yourself from the trouble and use alternatives please. Things frequently goes wrong due to the delicate nature of sending perishable goods. Customer service literally have zero respect and understanding towards customers' concerns. Some items are different than how they are described with photos on the website and they said terms and conditions that I accepted says that is okay to have variance because these are "natural and or manufactured" units. You have to chase them to get an update on your complaint. A business with zero understanding and respect of a lifetime value of a frequent customer over a disappointment less than £20 is not something worth doing business with. I was told to be transparent otherwise they might basically sue me over the fact that they have something called brand protection policy. Took literally 5 minutes to get the money back from credit card company.

Terrible company keep away

I ordered meat from this website this time. It doesn’t come with any labeling. when I ask them about this. they avoid the real issue, my concerns about the product especially about expiry date. their customer service is not helpful and annoying. I regret shopping here.

i spent £325 for my order they send 2 boxes i received 1 of next day but other one received after 3 days and all frozen food melted and gone to bin waste money they said we will refund for gone food but they didint refund any money anyway they are loosing not me

They sent expired products. I got my order on the 30th of January and the products were expiring in February. And two wrong products were sent to me. I never recommend this website.

Like many people here, I am kicking myself for not reading the reviews now before placing my order. They refunded my money after deducting the shipping fee for the product they couldn't deliver because it was out of stock. Their customer service is terrible. if you want healthy mental, must’nt shop with them even if they give it away for free.

Do not shop from this organisation. I am kicking myself for not reading the reviews now before placing my order. Order placed and was meant to be delivered on a Tuesday which then changed to a Thursday and then finally came on the Saturday. Had salads and meats in my fridge waiting on the products to arrive which just caused unnecessary stress. Communication at the the beginning which then stopped from their side. Order came eventually with missing products and fresh products being disposed due to off smell. Do not order from this company.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent order from Bakkalim. I ordered a product, but, without any communication or my consent, it was replaced with another product. I've been trying to resolve this issue for the past three weeks, but the customer service has been unsatisfactory, stalling, and now, they have stopped replying to my messages altogether. This experience has been frustrating, and I urge potential customers to be wary. be carefull about giving order!

İlk ve toplu siparişimi verecektim, buradaki yorumlar dolayı (patladı va) deneme amaçlı sadece bakliyat aldım. Hepsi tek tek poşetlenmişti, patlasa bile poşetin içinde dökülücek gibiydi. Kolinin altında bulgur vardı, ondan önceki ürünler sağlamdı bu da öyledir diye aldandım direkt poşetten çıkarttım. Patlakmış ve birazı döküldü ancak bakıp çıkarsaydım poşetin içinde kalabilirdi. Bakliyat alırken her yerde bu tarz problem yaşanabilir, patlak gelme ihtimal var önemli olan böyle geldikten sonra ürüne sahip çıkılması. Hediye sakız ve ıhlamur için teşekkür ederim ☺️

AWFUL PRODUCT QUALITY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE.

This is my third order with them.
1st order was placed during pandemic so I won't complain, but I waited days for my order to be delivered and only after I contacted them they cancelled and refund me the amount.

My second order was going to be delivered the same day by their vehicle, instead they shipped it so all the chilled and frozen products went to waste. They apologised and told me it was a mistake. Ok, things can happen of course.

The third time is the charm! They sent me an expired product, I sent them a photo that clearly shows the expiration date. Asked for a refund, and they asked for further proof. Because they think everyone else is as dodgy as they are, they are asking for further proof instead of being apologetic.
I will never make a purchase and I do not recommend it to anyone else. Terrible company.

Never ever use again, they send me broken bottle of olive oil and expired date products.

Avoid them to be a customer of them! For the first 2 purchases they were shipping the boxes tidy and proper. The last time on my 3rd time, the inside of the box was not like it was and both couscous and rice were broken and spilled up. I have sent them photo as a proof, they told me they could only make partial refund as some of the rices/couscouses still usable. I bin them all both the products and bakkalim.co.uk.

I have them the second chance and placed an order. In the explanations area I kindly asked for not to be sent something out of date. They did it again! For what? They just lost a customer for ever now.
