Fantastic product

Had a great bread box sent that was a beer bread. fantastic product and simple instructions. I feel my bread may have got the Paul Hollywood handshake!

Purchased subscription for an Xmas…

Purchased subscription for an Xmas present for my partner. She has repeatedly emailed to receive the box and has had nothing but apologies and guarantees that they will be sent out, even the promise of additional boxes to rectify the mistakes. It's been 4 months and we've received nothing. At this stage I would completely avoid this company. I will also look to contact the websites selling these boxes to advise of the issues push for them to be taken off if nothing is done about this.

Bought a subscription for my daughter…

Bought a subscription for my daughter for Christmas, the first box arrived on time but for subsequent boxes I had to repeatedly chase. Excuses given were; I had not activated my subscription in time for the second box to be sent that month (the monthly cut off times seem to change) but it didn't arrive the next month until I chased again, for the third box there was a delay in sending it out due to an ingredient not being available. I wasn't told this until I emailed to ask where it was. It's a shame as my daughter liked the boxes but I wouldn't buy another subscription due to the company's tardiness.

Great boxes, terrible delivery

I have renewed our subscription, received the first box and nothing since. No replies to email, no phone number. This has happened before, so not an isolated experience. The boxes are great when they arrive, but actually getting a box seems nigh on impossible. I can't even cancel the subscription as I get no response from the company.

Hot cross buns
Followed the instructions with the ingredients provided and they turned out like undercooked scones.
The bin was the unfortunate recipient.

Perfect gift

Bought as a gift for my mum, she loved it so much she extended the subscription for herself! Super inventive and creative recipes, easy to follow, and perfect for baing/bread lovers!

Still no item.....I am starting to think it's a scam. Bought over a month ago. No response to emails and no items sent, now taking a second month's payment and no items

Order went through 19.02

Order went through 19.02
Had to chase it two weeks ago. Promised early this week for dispatch..didn’t get “dispatched” until Thursday the week after (over a week ago now) sent a tracking code which is stuck on Royal Mail we are expecting the item. I don’t believe they have sent the item although they are blaming Royal Mail. Trying to contact someone is more than annoying no answer on phones, ignored emails

Great concept but poor customer service

Great concept and the actual boxes are perfect for gifts. The customer service is so poor though. I guess they are a relatively small business, but have emailed multiple times, called, eventually managed to get a response after chasing on Instagram. One month the wrong product was sent - was told they would get back to me - never did. Money taken and no indication when the products are going to be sent. Such a shame as it could be an amazing business, but I can't keep chasing multiple times each month for answers. Plus it's a bit embarrassing to gift this and the wrong products sent or delayed.

Great product and service

I received a bread subscription for Christmas 2024 and thoroughly enjoyed. One box arrived damaged and after contact with customer service they quickly sent a replacement. On Christmas 2025 I received a Trend boxx subscription. First bake (of spiced chocolate orange cake was great). Had an issue activating subscription but customer service quickly resolved. Highly recommend.

Don't get a subscription

I received a 3 months subscription as a gift. The activation was relatively easy and I received the first box quickly.
After this, the company proceeded to not send the other 2 boxes in my subscription until I emailed them to ask where my boxes were. Whenever I emailed, the company would quickly dispatch my items, but there was no acknowledgement or apology from the company.
The content of the boxes is generally good, but there is something significantly wrong with their subscription and customer service.

Delayed dispatch. All good now.

I wish I had read the reviews about poor communication and slow dispatch before placing my order.
Ordered 31.12.25 for estimated delivery 5 to 9.1.26.
8.1.26.still not dispatched. Payment taken 2.1.26. No explanation. Queried this yesterday with Baker.Boxx via Etsy link. Had auto reply asking me to raise the query via contact form on supplied link, which didn’t take me to a contact form! Replied to auto reply with my query. No response to that after 24 hours. No chance now that my carefully chosen gift will arrive in the estimated time frame. Very poor communication and service.

Edit. It seems a major reason for the poor service was a glitch between Etsy’s and the seller’s IT systems. Once baker.boxx realised what had happened, they really went the extra mile to put it right, cancelled the Etsy order, arranged a refund and sent out the baking kit direct themselves by Royal Mail.

We have recently identified a technical issue where some Etsy orders did not come through to our internal ordering system as expected. This is not the level of service we aim to provide, and we are actively working to resolve the issue to prevent it from happening again.


We would also like to sincerely apologise for the lack of communication. We have not received any direct messages from you, and we have raised this with Etsy as it appears there may have been an issue with messages not being delivered correctly on their platform.

Christmas present

Bought my daughter a 12 month subscription for Christmas last year. So far she has received 8/12 boxes, with some going missing despite never getting a tracking email to say they've even been posted. Every email is responded with they'll chase it up with IT and don't know why the boxes haven't been sent out.
Yesterday I emailed them again to chase up another missing box. They didn't reply to my email, but I received a tracking email yesterday evening and a box arrived today. However it's a box she's already had an the recipe card has best before December 2025🙃 They've just panicked and sent an old issue out which is just rubbish.
Since posting this review I've been emailed by the founder of the company who apologised and offered to renew her subscription for free. He explained that they are a very small company and are working on improving their communication and processes. As my daughter has really enjoyed the recieving the boxes and trying new and different recipes we are happy to do this and we look forward to a better experience this year.

Box 2 and never arrived, no response to calls. Scammy behaviour

Ordered my first box via a partnership offer, it was great so I signed up for a subscription box. Had to cancel after the first month bc I'd overestimated my budget. Despite paying for the first month though, I have never received my order. It is still marked as processing, from May! I have called multiple times across at least 6 different days, left my number, order ect. Got a response on only one day, where I was assured it would be on the way. It has never arrived. Haven't picked up the phone 5/6 times. Unfortunately coming off as a scam at this point.
