Sally helped me troubleshoot a few issues I had 6 weeks or so after birth. She was knowledgeable, helpful and kind. After being let down by a few other lactation consultants, it was fantastic to have someone reliable. Would recommend!

Sally is amazing! I got in touch with her before giving birth as I wanted to have an idea of what to expect from breastfeeding. She made things so much clear then, and kept texting me and asking for updates until I gave birth.
I then asked her to come and visit me at home to help me with latching and see how baby is breastfeeding. This was so helpful and so different from what I was told at the hospital when giving birth.

Overall, an absolutely amazing experience, and Sally is just a wonderful person. Would recommend to all first time moms to be, as otherwise it can be so hard to figure things out by yourself.

I messaged a friend when I was close to give up on breastfeeding my second baby - baby not gaining weight as he should and my nipples bleeding. My friend recommended Sally. Sally was kind, non judgmental and her expertise was invaluable to us. I especially appreciated that she asked me questions about what I wanted rather than simply assuming and giving me standard advice. She came to our home and took her time. She wrote clear notes afterwards, which I still go back to. Four months on I’m still breastfeeding, even though it’s not been easy for us. When it feels tricky it’s always reassuring I can turn back to Sally should I need to. Could not recommend more.

After a difficult time in hospital, where I was left feeling that there was something ‘wrong’ with my feeding, Sally was just the warm, knowledgeable and calm presence that we needed. She offers gentle guidance, supports your natural attunement to your baby and helps you to feel confident in your capacity to breastfeed. Sally came to the rescue when I was experiencing a lot of pain at the start of our breastfeeding journey. In the face to face consultation she was kind, sensitive and gave tailored advice and insights which were invaluable, even putting us in touch with another specialist who was able to treat our baby’s tongue tie.

Sally proactively followed up after the consultation over WhatsApp and continued to provide support for our changing circumstances.

On top of this, it’s clear that Sally really cares about both mum and baby, which is so reassuring during such a turbulent time.

Sally came to my house when I was struggling and feeling panicked about breast feeding due to having bigger boobs. She showed me various positions and sat and showed me how to get the right latch! I needed a bit more help so she came back against quick notice to help perfect the position. Sally was helpful with weight, tongue tie and made me feel comfortable and relaxed whilst learning this new “skill”. I would really recommend Sally, she we such a help to me and my baby is gaining weight at a good rate thanks to her!

Sally came to our home at short notice when we were really struggling with feeding and weight loss and overwhelmed with conflicting advice and a lack of other face to face help. Sally showed us various positions and techniques to help and supplement feeding which were really useful. Sally was also very realistic with her advice and pragmatic about how long I might need to be triple feeding in order to one day EBF again, which really helped manage my expectations and help us make an informed decision about how to proceed. Sally’s follow up email was really helpful and I would encourage anyone thinking of getting in touch with her to do it. I feel confident my feeding journey would not have been as positive as it has been without her help and kindness.

Sally was very helpful and reassuring in my breastfeeding journey. She provided great positioning tips and tricks, and also provided good advice regarding pumping and introducing a bottle to the baby - who took to it without any issues. Her post-visit WhatsApp support was invaluable, as the baby experienced some weight loss and we were figuring out why and how to address it. Will most certainly be reaching out to her again when returning to work and looking for a plan to continue breastfeeding the baby.
