DONT DO IT
DONT DO IT: ‼️
If I could leave this establishment a 0/5 review, I would have begun there…but I’ll provide a timeline instead. One of the most unbelievable and completely true timelines I’ve ever seen.
August 5th: I inquired about a listed vehicle and DeeJay called me right away.
August 6th: I gave a $500 deposit for the vehicle promised to be ready in 2 days
August 8th: I drove 2 hours and was told the car would not be ready. They then promised they made an appointment to fix a recall at the dealership because the car was not ready.
August 14: still no car, recall not complete
August 15: we purchased the car up, without the recall being done
August 18th: the car was in the mechanic because the vehicle smelt like gasoline and they found a fuel leak
August 20: Autonation told us to bring the car down & they would fix the fuel pump under warrantee
Aug 21: DeeJay promised the car would be fixed and ready tomorrrow
August 22nd: Abel (a manager) told me
There was no leak detected and they oxidized the vehicle to remove the smell, dispite the gasoline smell & other mechanics findings. He felt it was fine for a 16 year old child to drive the vehicle off the lot. The next manager Mitch took over, agreed to fix the fuel leak but that no rental car was available for us.
August 27th: we still had no vehicle, and the mechanics ordered the wrong part to fix the fuel leak.
September 1st: car was finished & promised to be dropped off
September 2nd: I confirmed drop off time with Mitch and then he sent me a message that my son could come pick up the vehicle. He also assured me that a check would be sent to reimburse the cost of the mechanic we paid for to find the leak…still have no check.
From Aug 22-Sept 1, I was assured, and promised by multiple employees at many levels that the sales manager would call me. (6+ times)…and I never once got a phone call from that sales manager (Elijah?)
September 9th: I dropped the vehicle off to get the recall fixed…only to find out that the title had never been switched to our name.
I called the finance department…I messaged both managers…and today is the 15th of September… no one has called me back.
This was without a doubt the absolutely worst business exchange I have ever encountered in my life and would warn any and every person that even thinks about buying from them, to invest in something else, somewhere else.
