She made our experience an absolute pleasure.
She went out of her way to make sure we got everything perfect regarding the size, clarity and colour of our diamond. She got similar sized rings and diamonds out to show us in order to see how our ring would look and advised on the choice of metal for the diamond to sit upon.
I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Nadia to anyone considering a quality service to purchase a beautiful ring. You won’t be disappointed

Very very poor service.

1. They don’t make you aware of the design issues telling me after “ Unfortunately, we are unable to resize your ring due to its hollow construction.” Not being told this when purchasing the product when I struggled to choosing ring size wasn’t mentioned everything I need to take in consideration. I wanted this ring to last for many years so I can alter sizes when older.
2. Delayed return of my ring few times with excuses each time.
3. When purchasing the ring manager said there’s no difference between 9k and 18k yellow gold but also no one will notice the difference between the natural diamond and lab made.
4. Received an email from dpd saying they are coming to MY HOUSE for collection? I sent the screenshot to customer service and they confirmed it’s my ring delivery so I waited! No it wasn’t it was a collection of my ring. How unprofessional is the fact you didn’t know where this ring was!
5.Called you explained what happened someone called Ben left a voicemail saying you arranged the wrong pick up! And the fact my ring is coming back to me in a basic box not the usual Austen Blake one because it’s coming back to me quickly?
6. When the ring returns I find out you didn’t even do anything to the ring in the first place and again you apologise for not getting back to me and keeping me informed. You state “ While hollow rings offer excellent value and aesthetic appeal, they do come with limitations—particularly when it comes to future alterations or customizations.” Even though your customer service agent said you will re size it and I paid for that.
7. Been told to see if a local jeweller can help me with the issue as you can’t?
8. Got given an email to speak to customer service and it’s been over a week and still no reply whilst I’m sat here not being able to wear my wedding ring which was £1200+

Completely lost trust in this company and after all the issues they only mention 70% refund, still waiting for my FULL refund. They give you 30 days return policy but who wears their ring before the wedding and who leaves it till last minute to buy it.

Disappointing Experience with Faulty Product

**EDIT** I replied to A&B based on their response to this review, but they never reached out to me. Disappointing that their customer support is all for show.

Our experience with Austen & Blake in Bristol has been extremely disappointing. We were given a faulty/wonky ring, told it would be fixed for no cost as it was a manufacturing error, then pressured into paying even more money to get the repaired ring returned to us. We’ve regularly had emails and phone calls that have not been answered, which has made the whole experience of purchasing an engagement ring from A&B disappointing and very stressful. A&B were a good company up until the point of needing support - since then it’s been a horrible experience for us.

My partner and I started the process of purchasing an engagement ring in December. We tried on rings in the showroom and then went to purchase our ring online. As every item is custom made, we used the measurements from the website to help make our decision on ring style and placed our order. Until this point, we'd had a good experience with A&B.
After 4 weeks, we got our ring - not only did not match the details that had been provided on the website, it was also set incorrectly in multiple places and it was extremely wonky. We tried several times to get in contact with Bristol to get this issue resolved, and finally we were able to drop the ring off to get repaired and were told this was a manufacturing fault and that we would not be charged for repair. Over the next 8 weeks, we repeatedly tried to get updates but were often left in the dark not knowing what was happening. We had also requested some changes to our ring so it was more in line with the measurements that had been on the website when we originally placed our order, this was also a nightmare to deal with. We reached a point where we were unable to get any update from Bristol (despite them holding our ring AND our money, and us trying to email and call to get updates). We instead reached out to the main customer service number where we were finally given some of the information we had been requesting for weeks. We were also informed that Bristol had put a hold on our ring so that it could not be sent to us without a further payment, despite us originally being told there would be no cost for us as it was a manufacturing fault. We felt very pressured into making this payment, as we’d had neither our money nor our ring for months. I have since tried to contact customer services to explain the situation and request the refund for the additional payment that we were never told about and then pressured into making, but I’ve been unable to speak to anyone.

Easy and fast process to get rings.

Sharon was very knowledgeable and easy going, and made the whole process simple and stress free. We were able to pick a bespoke ring that we had seen somewhere else and Austen & Blake made one that was almost identical but around half the price. Timescales were quick also. Would definitely recommend.

Great communication and assistance

Tamara was absolutely amazing during my wedding ring journey. I am a very indecisive person and she never pressured me when I asked for more thinking time on more than one occasion! She was very good at communicating and keeping me informed during my time with her. If I ever purchase a special piece of jewellery again, I will be back!

Brilliant wedding ring appointment

My partner and I had an appointment with Arwen yesterday to find our wedding rings and she was so fab we had to write a review.

We turned up and they had taken our preferences into account and even provided better options that we hadn’t seen in the website.

Arwen was so friendly and had tips on how to get the sample ring to fit flush - and we (a pair of indecisive over-thinkers) felt sure in our decision within 45 minutes.

Thanks - we can’t wait to get our rings!

Five stars isn’t enough :)

I’m not usually one to leave reviews, however I had such a lovely experience and found the wedding ring of my dreams at Austen and Blake so just had to share! The lovely Tamara in the Bristol office looked after me. She was so welcoming and friendly and made me feel at ease. I didn’t feel under pressure at all to buy anything, unlike some jewellery shops where the assistants were pushy. She was knowledgeable and honest about the rings and helped me to find the ring of my dreams. The prices were extremely reasonable too! Overall a wonderful experience and would highly recommend. Thank you again Tamara.

Great experience

Mine and my partners experience at Austen & Blake in Bristol was a great experience. We have been assisted by the lovely Arwen who has been helping us finding our wedding bands. Visited the new store in Cribbs Causeway for a walk in appointment with the intention of looking at a few wedding rings I had seen online. We experienced an exceptional level of service from every member of staff, but a special mention goes to Tamara who assisted us and was fantastic in every way. She really listened, took on board my preferences and wishes, and showed us some beautiful rings with a gentle and completely impartial approach. Loved the products, loved the experience and all at such a reasonable price - I couldn’t fault it.

Wonderful experience

Genuinely cannot recommend enough. Our entire experience from start to finish was seamless and well communicated. My now fiance(!) and I arranged a consultation with Tamara as we both wanted to be present whilst choosing the perfect engagement ring, and had let her know of what style we were interested in looking at (Emerald cut, roughly 2-3 carat and 18k gold band). On arrival, Tamara was so welcoming and friendly and had set aside a display of options in different carat’s sizes, and settings. We found our dream ring at the appointment and felt like we had full control over our decisions and no pushing at all! We were quoted 4ish weeks and got well within that time period. Nothing to fault and the proposal went wonderfully. Thank you so so much we couldn’t be more happy X
