I would not recommend Atwell Martin based on my experience as a landlord under their full management service.

There were repeated failures in communication and basic property management. I was not informed that the property was becoming vacant and had to discover this indirectly. I received no meaningful feedback from viewings and was not told that the tenant was restricting access — all of which are fundamental to managing a re-let effectively.

Following each tenancy, I encountered multiple issues that had not been identified during inspections, raising serious concerns about the thoroughness and reliability of their inspection process.

Clear and direct answers were consistently lacking, and I found myself having to repeatedly chase and extract information that should have been provided proactively.

When I challenged the individual on these issues, the response came across as defensive and not focused on resolving the concerns.

There also appeared to be a high turnover of staff, and the quality of service was inconsistent and dependent on the individual handling the property at the time.

These are not minor oversights — they are core responsibilities of a managing agent. The lack of oversight and communication contributed directly to an extended void period and avoidable financial loss.

Overall, the service lacked professionalism, transparency, and accountability. For a fully managed service, this fell well below an acceptable standard.

I would highly recommend Atwell Martin for selling a property. A very professional company. Communication was very good from start to finish. All the staff I had dealings with were always friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

Atwell Martin does not help at all and is the most rubbish company I've ever had to talk with in my life of living. This morning i had an incident down in the carpark with people living in the block and all of a sudden this man comes up to me, id assume he works for the block since he was telling me i was not allowed to take my dog down their anymore which me or my mum did not know about since their was no signs or not letters telling us. Basically, he came over because I was swearing at 2 people who were shouting at me for different reasons. I had apologised for something, then they were shouting at me for another thing, which was none of their business, which was stressing me out due to the fact that I was by myself trying to pick up my dogs poo in a corner, being ganged up on by the two people. But boom, he comes over and starts saying, "If someone's telling you to do something, do it", and talking about how it was wrong of me to swear. Like Brochaco, you are not my dad. I tried to explain the situation to him, but he did not let me talk and went straight to talking about how I can't bring the dog down to the car park. I've been living here for like 7 years, and it's been fine, but there is a new block now and i only just found out about how i cant take the dog down to the carpark which is fine now that i at least know. Then he proceeded to continue telling me not to swear even though he wasnt listening to me, and now theres 3 people ganging up on me, 2 of them for a stupid reason and the other 1 just being dumb. Then he asked me what apartment number i live at which i proceeded to say "im not giving you it". then he pulled his phone out and took a photo of my face. (Just want to say im 16 years old and a minor). After he said how he's going to report me and he will found out where I live so after i finished picking my dogs poo up i left but then he started accusing me of stuff that i havent done like saying "shes picking the dogs poo up for once" like brother i dont know u. So I went and told my mum, and obviously she's pissed off because he's taken a photo of my face and ganged up on me, so she's arguing with him, saying he needs to delete the photo. Then this mf turns around and says "not until i report her shes was abusing those people" LIKE HELP BRO, when he came over to me they were both right as rain ganging up on me so stop lying. Then i said to him "respectfully you were not there and only came over half way through" His reply was that I was abusing them. So me and my mum went upstairs and called the block of managment ( Atwell Martin). I told them what happened and my mum said that shes now knows the dog is not allowed in the carpark and we wont take him there anymore. But the block of management martin or whatever the mfs name was starts banging on about people not picking their dogs poo up to which we say "we pick are dogs poo up and this doesnt apply to us" which we do because i know its not nice to step in dogs poo and its not allowed ofcouse. So then my mum trys to talk about other things that happened but he keeps going on about the dog not being allowed in the carpark and we have literally past that Martin mate. Then hes not letting my mum speak at all to my mum is getting angry and stressed and starts swearing at him so he hangs up. I decided to leave my mums room and talk to him without my mum in the room. i basically just asked him "why did you hang up on my mum?" he said "because she was swearing" i mean i understand why he hung up but hes the reason why she hung up. Anyway i tried to explain he wasnt letting her speak but he wasnt even letting me speak at all, so it was so annoying. Then he hung up on me because i was raising my voice due to him talking over me like what an absolute bozo. I called back and he basically hung up because i "swore" mind u i said the f word and it wasnt even at him whatsoever. Then he said the person that was at the incident in the carpark has already told him everything thats happened and has been in his office for 20 minutes. so what he is saying he wont hear my side of the story so i basically gave up. I called up a teacher who i trust very much from school and explained to her the situation which she responded with how it was illegal for him to take a photo of a minor (me) and how she was going to call the management back (w teach). So she called back and got it resolved (w again). See how easy it is martin. Anyway sorry for the long message but yeah that's my complaint/review. Moral of the story Atwell Martin are a bunch of snowflakes.

Started well then every time I thought we were getting somewhere things would go quiet. Contacting the office nothing had progressed and the agent dealing with me had left.This happend twice, eventually I had the misfortune of dealing with the owner.I have never in all my travels around the world come across a more pompous rude dismissive man.It all became clear why staff retention would be an issue.I had 5 months of stress and ineptitude, suppose you don't know the good without the bad.

Sarai's in my opinion the leading rental agent in the area - 7 years working together with regular "state of the nation" catch-ups is testimony.

The absolute worst. These people are just sharks. If you want to do yourself a favour, stay away from them. The most unprofessional, lazy people I have ever had the dipleasure of dealing with. You have been warned.

Outstanding service! I have been dealing with Sue from my initial point contact and she has dealt with all of our enquiries with ease! Sue has gone above and beyond for us. From being quick to deal with issues and the communication in between have been fantastic. You will not find a better estate agent in our opinion! Thank you Sue.

Tried to booked a viewing . Was told by Sara Slade that there was only 1 time available and it was a weekday at 11.30. So had to take it . Did not even get a follow up email. Phoned on the day to see if agent was turning up and no answer but message left on both office number and mobile number. Sara Slade didn't even turn up , so a wasted day off work .

If I could give this estate agency a zero on the rental side, I would!.
I can't speak for the sales side, but on the rental side they just LOVE to collaborate with dodgy landlords and rent out below-standard properties with death trap electrics.
Supposed to be a "Managed Property", but even a single-celled Ameoba could do a better job!.
Oh, and the inventory check out? - extra photos not in the original inventory of previous marks on walls and flooring marks coming through the lounge ceiling from the floorboards above? That's okay, because they pin it on you!. Infact, whatever they can find, so that you don't get all of your deposit back. They behave like they are in cahoots with their landlords for a little extra "pocket money" on tenants' check outs. If you want a professional estate agency who is honest and fair, then this is NOT THE ONE!. PLEASE - AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!....

So these people that use atwell martin live above us, they smoke inside which we have given hard evidence and shown they do (video) they still haven't done anything about it, it's still happening, I've emailed multiple times, they also bang around, drill, move furniture, scream at each other etc past 11pm, it's not on, AND THEY WON'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. I have a 7 month old kid who's now weezy with bad breathing and they still won't do anything about it. This company should be ashamed.
