Attitude Swim Coaching offers, wild swimming experiences, introductory sessions, coached sessions. We run weekly, safe supervised swimming at Wyresdale Park, Scorton and Preese Hall Farm, Weeton. We deliver a range of trek n swims, kayak trips, long swims E2E Coniston, Crummock & Wast water with kayak support provided. We do sunrise, sunset and moonlight swim experiences. We also run a range of RLSS courses, open water lifeguard, NWSMP, WRET as well as NUCO outdoor first aid.

I enjoy swimming here as it’s relaxed and friendly. You can swim at the side of the lake if you are not confident to swim all the way round or just want a dip because of the cold. Has safety measures in place with kayak and someone watching from the deck. Wish could book on a bit later as the slot closes soon or maybe just turn up and pay!

Hi Christine, thanks for your review, you can pay cash but you do need to book in advance particularly during the height of the season. During the winter you can just turn up and pay, just check for post or message beforehand just incase session has been cancelled due to weather.

An absolute must experience
An absolute must experience. Which once tried you will continue to enjoy. Fully experienced friendly , support given. A safe swim which is supported and swimming water is always checked.

Great venues and fantastic support
Annie is always supportive and encouraging. The swimming venues at both Wyresdale Park and Preese Hall Farm are lovely. I know I am safe with Annie overseeing and always love the experience.

I joined Attitude Swim Coaching for a recent guided swim a…
I joined Attitude Swim Coaching for a guided swim across Coniston in July 2025 and Annie was brilliant at providing reassurance and confidence.I would highly recommend Annie for any guided swims within the Lake District such as Coniston, Bassenthwaite and any others.Sometimes moving from a smaller water space to a larger lake needs a strong guide with a professional non judgemental approach.
Also Annie supported myself to swim End to End Coniston in 2023 which was a true achievement.This was well organised and safe.Annie's trips are good value for money.
Also Attitude swimming offers improver front crawl classes, which is a great platform for anyone needing additional skill development to progress to longer outdoor swims.
