My visa came through and flight details and now I’m going! Astute education has held my hand every step of the way, calming my nerves and keeping me calm through a life changing opportunity - ensuring I was well informed throughout. I have been guided with great expertise and clearly very knowledgeable team at Astute! Couldn't be happier and ready to embark on my new career! A fantastic Company with terrific workable system for great flowing communication.

I have found the Astute Team to be very helpful, accessible and informative on all occasions. Particular thanks to Ruth and Colin who always provide as much information as possible, also thanks to Jake and Danielle who are very efficient, positive and friendly. Great team!

I really rate the service that Astute Education gave me when I was searching for a teaching role in the UAE...this was my first time working abroad and they really helped (especially Ruth) make it simple and easy. Astute have been extremely helpful in preparing me to work for the MOE. I have never felt alone in the process before arriving and have always felt as though there is someone friendly to talk to if I need any further guidance.

Once I arrived in the UAE and Astute were no longer the company solely responsible for me (the MOE has now begun to take over) I have still felt that I can approach the helpful team at Astute, if I want any clarification on anything. The MOE, too, have been extremely welcoming and the initial stay at the hotel is out of this world. I feel very lucky.

It is worth noting that once you arrive, you do need to understand that a 'go with the flow' attitude should be adopted, as moving to a new country can be tough, but a positive 'can-do' attitude is the best remedy for this. I am really happy and feel very fulfilled with my experience with Astute and with the MOE and look forward to finding out my set location.

My fellow teachers are lovely and I have made some fantastic friends already. :)

I applied for a PE and Health teaching position and it's fair to say I was very happy the company, the support I had received and how my application initially progressed. It wasn't until my contract came, which has me down for teaching Physics and not PE, my trust in the company went. For obvious reasons a new contract was requested and I assumed it would be relatively quick process to sort out. However, for months I was constantly told my new contract was due any day, asked for information I knew had already been sent and contact from the company with updates became scarce. The company has since completely cut contact (I got fed up with calling/emailing and being told the same story) and still to this day I have not received any updates regarding the status of my contract/application - I have been waiting since June 2018! Don't bother wasting your time!

Very poor company. Unacceptable behaviour in almost every aspect, I would certainly not advise anyone to go with them. Please do what I did not and look at all the bad reviews.

I applied for a role advertised through another teaching website and it redirected me to Astute Education. I was pleasantly surprised by the professional efficient response which asked questions that were about me and to help them to help me secure a role that’s correct for me. I have been helped through a complete relocation process and no question is too big or small for them. The team have all been marvellous and I am so happy to know I have them on my side helping me into a role that is totally perfect for me. I have used many other agencies in my time - but, none as efficient and candidate centred as Astute education.

I can’t rate Ruth highly enough. My daughter, a fully qualified UK English teacher is embarking on her journey to work in the UAE and Ruth has gone above and beyond the call of duty to support her throughout the entire process. Ruth is a true professional; she’s incredibly knowledgeable and provides customer service as well as emotional support that is second to none.

I would like to thank Ruth, Jake, Chloe, Danielle, and the whole team at astute for making my dream of working abroad into a reality. I have received so much help and support from the team throughout the recruitment process, I cannot thank them enough. I highly recommend astute education!

Ruth Leeson has been the most supportive, kind and encouraging person throughout a very stressful transition time. This company is a joke. Don’t bother applying for their jobs, you will only be left in limbo. The company will give you interview dates, which will then be altered and eventually cancelled. People put time and effort into prepping for these interviews. If you don’t mind wasting a few months of the year awaiting interview dates then go ahead and apply, but will there actually be a job at the end of it? Who knows, if your lucky enough to get an interview that is!

I can t see why people would moan about Astute Education..Ruth and her team kept me up to date and supported me all the way.! Thanks guys z👍🏻

I would sincerely like to thank and commend the Astute team, with particular reference to Ruth Leeson, who literally guided me step by step through the entire recruitment process. I cannot recommend Astute highly enough for anyone looking to find work in the Middle East.

I would highly recommend Astute Education. Ruth and her team where there for me every step of the way. The process is long and takes time but Astute Education worked hard to help make the process smooth and stress free. Ruth was only ever an email away and would answer any questions I had and give advice when needed. Here in UAE now and enjoying the experience :) thanks all at Astute. I would highly recommend them to anyone thinking of applying :)

Worst company I have dealt with. Came from over 250 miles away only to be given the wrong entry exam (Maths, not my subject) and told I HAD to complete this. When finished, I was told that I had failed, which I expected. Had me down as a Maths Graduate, even though I am already a teacher, teaching a total different subject! Only response I got was sorry, We will have interviews again in September and we will invite you again. Waste of money and time. Do not go with this company! They know nothing about Education!

Kept me in limbo for over 9 months with excuse after excuse and repeatedly asking for the same information.
They use a simple model, which is to deliberately "recruit" an excess of candidates, and then blame the MOE for cancelling the contract - funnily enough, this happens to them every year.
Wasted over $200 in transport, certifications and other expenses only to get a very contrite email advising that my "offer" had been withdrawn.
Requested an explanation and was treated with contempt - utterly unprofessional and duplicitous...............

I have never experienced such professionalism as I have with Astute Education. The advice and ongoing support from the team has been incredible. Making that first call was the best thing I ever did and I cannot thank them enough. I would like to name Ruth and Rachel for your being there for me from the very beginning of my application process. An outstanding company it deserves a lot more than 5 stars.

I'm so pleased I discovered Astute Education, they made my dream of teaching abroad a reality! There was definitely a few hurdles when I got to the country, but that was all part of the experience and the attraction of teaching overseas. I'd recommend them to anyone nervous about making the jump, because they really listen and take on board your concerns.
