Leon strikes again. I have used this company twice in a recent move and they have sent Leon each time.This guy goes the extra mile and has been great to deal with. Cleaned up after job was finished. The office /Customer service guys were really helpful to price was set out and honoured 🎖

We had an ongoing issue with our kitchen circuit that another firm had failed to fix, so we called Assured Electrical, Kriss came out the same day and quickly identified and resolved the problem with real professionalism and care.
The office staff were helpful too, arranging everything within just a few hours of my call and keeping me updated throughout. The whole experience was smooth, friendly, and reassuring from start to finish.

Freddie was super - very polite, knew his stuff & quickly checked the issues. Unfortunately the unit itself was broken, but he offered some useful suggestions & support for when we get it replaced as part of a wider kitchen renovation,

DO NOT BOOK IF LOOKING TO GET A REPAIR ON YOUR ELECTRIC SHOWER!

Given the general 5 star reviews, I'd had high hopes. They promised to attempt to fix my shower and, if that wasn't possible, fit a replacement (with the initial cost covering all labour, but with an additional cost for the new shower unit, if needed). They took my payment of £203 (inc. VAT) upfront and booked me in for a 7.30-8am slot the following week. I rearranged my work diary and forwent my morning to be available. When no one turned up, I rang and was told my electrician was running behind on another job but that they would arrive by 11am at the latest.

No one turned up until ~1pm, explaining to me that they'd booked the morning off and had asked the office to inform/rearrange with customers. After looking at the shower for a couple of minutes (at most) they said the only thing they could tell me is whether electricity was going in and out of the shower - obvious to all, as the lights had been flashing - but that they had no expertise in fixing showers. As such, the only option they could offer was to put in a new shower. I rang the office and, by chance, got through to the CEO. I explained my frustration with the service. After a tense and difficult conversation in which I had to really stand my ground.. to their credit they did agree to refund me £150 (which is why I'm giving them two stars, instead of one).

I later discovered that to get a repair on a shower - unless it's clearly an issue with the mains electricity or the plumbing (in which case you'd need a plumber) - you need to go direct to the manufacturer to see if they offer a repair service. Assured Electricians (and other electricians) should be upfront that they simply don't have the expertise to fix showers and instead direct prospective customers to check with the shower manufacturers first, rather than take people's money under false pretences.

Shaun came to install my EV charger and did an excellent job. Communication was spot on from start to finish, he was punctual, professional and kept everything extremely tidy. Really impressed with the quality of his work — highly recommend!

Ross was very efficient and on time

We had 9 LED downlighters fitted. Ross did a good job of explaining where they should go for fewest shadows. He completed the job promptly so overall were very pleased.

Jake came and sorted one easy and one very tricky electrical problem. He sleuthed the problem and fixed it. Great job. Highly recommended.

I booked this company after reading the reviews, on my first experience i had to chase them up as the electrician was late, the engineer himself was nice enough however the mess he left was disgusting, he even damaged the wall where i wanted a socket fitted, he never cleaned up after himself and ruined our new carpet he never put anything on the floor to protect it, i complained to Assured and they arranged to send another electrician, who never turned up, their headline is, trust us to do a great job, i wouldn't trust them again, following my review i had a call from someone in the office telling me they were going to refund my money, like that resolves the way i have been treated, following that that person then asked that because they were going to refund my money and offered to get my carpet cleaned would i take down my review, why would i it was my experience, people should know the good and bad that's what reviews are for, when i said i wouldn't, that person replied, good luck you are going to need it and hung up, very professional. There was no explanation as to why the engineer who was supposed to turn up on the 8/12, didn't.
In response to your reply, yes you arranged for another engineer to come and rectify the matter but they never turned up and no explanation given, as for my other reviews they are my honest reviews as is mine of your company, they have nothing to do with your work, and just because you have offered me a refund it doesnt change the fact that the work was shoddy, as for signing to say the work was acceptable, i wasnt told i was singing for that and my signature was done downstairs not on the landing where the work was done, my review was honest i believe bad reviews are as important as good reviews, its not just the work its having to chase you up and your second engineer not turning up. You mentioned my other reviews good ones for good service and bad ones for bad service, like yours so dont try to make me out the villain in this if your second engineer turned up this review might have been different, oh i have been sent another job udate, no idea why. My review hasnt changed i have responded to your remarks some of which are quite pointed and sarcastic, yes you offered to rectify things in good faith but it was your engineer who caused these issues and i repeat, your second engineer never turned up, one fact you have ignored, lets not carry on with this your so called standards missed on this occasion by a long long way, one last thing when i read your reviews they were all good, which was why i chose your company, im wondering if other customers have taken bad reviews down as i was requested to do, as per your request i have reluctantly taken the name of the person who asked me to take down my review which of course i wont be doing, funny thing is there are plenty of names given in good reviews that are still there, very strange. As a 71 yr old disabled man this has given me problems i could do without, As in the words of your office person, i wish you luck you are going to need it. 11/12 so to end this sorry saga i thought i would add this and im not even going to mention how the conduit was cut too long so instead of shortening the conduit the box was moved down over my skirting board, the agreed price for this job was £199.00 so i asked for a refund which ive had however these very trustworthy people didnt tell me that they took £238.80 which was not agreed on and i was told nothing of any hidden charges so they should have taken only £199.00 as agreed, i have already asked they pay the remainder back but they have yet to respond, so i have informed my bank and they are ready to act should the remainder not be forthcoming. Oh the work has been rectified very professionally, all cleaned up the carpets were not damaged further. 11/12 and there i was thinking this was done with, ive just had a call from assured cant mention his name because they dont like it but basically i was called a liar, if anyone is considering using this company i would stay away.

Kris and Fran did a lovely job replacing my gas hob with a new electric induction hob. I had previously had the gas supply capped off. They were able to cut the work surface to the new required size, fit the electric hob and sort out the red switch / fuse box for the new appliance. I am pleased with the good work they have done, many thanks
