I cannot recommend Asssa in Quesda enough. I’ve had my policy for a few years now and have on occasion now needed to use it. Esther has not only helped me numerous times but her care and compassion for even the smallest of questions to my worries are always dealt with promptly and compassionately. As a family we really feel we always get the personal touch from Esther and do not hesitate to recommend Esther to anyone that needs insurance. She’s an absolute asset to this company and hope she’s appreciated as much as we appreciate all she does for us and the many others she looks after. This is what customer service is about!

Wir sind seit fast 2 Jahren bei der ASSSA, Quesada und werden von Sabine Segelecke betreut. Wir fühlen uns sehr gut betreut. Sie ist immer freundlich, zuverlässig und hört uns zu. Sie hat immer ein offenes Ohr für unsere Belange, gibt Hilfestellung, berät uns ausführlich, macht Termine für uns und hilft sogar bei gelegentlichen, telefonischen Übersetzungen beim Arzt. Wir können die ASSSA absolut empfehlen da zu der tollen Betreuung und Beratung auch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis optimal ist. I've been with ASSSA for a month and their process has been the most confusing, time-consuming and difficult I've ever come across. I tried to get a simple test and I had to return to the doctor 4 times, even then I was denied. I then tried to leave but because of the contract, I have to stay for 12 more months. ASSSA is the worst insurance by far. I would highly recommend anyone else because this has just become a massive waste of time and money.

gleich als wir nach Spanien kamen sind wir bei ASSSA eingetreten und mehr als zufrieden.
Ich finde es hervorragend, wieviele deutsch und englischsprachige Ärzte angeschlossen sind.
Man bekommt immer gleich einen Termin.
Dagmar und Sophie vom Büro in Denia, abeiten schnell, sind freundlich und kümmern sich persönlich um alles.
Jetzt brauche ich einen Termin bei Oftalvist in Denia für eine Kontrolle und bekomme sofort einen Termin.

Trying to swing a new cancer diagnosis as a pre-existing condition, cancelling the oncology appointment, trying to get policy renewal cancelled - all sorts of underhanded techniques and leaving a patient with newly diagnosed cancer completely in the lurch. Shameful.
And yet, that is their job - making profits for the company and not giving one toss about patients.
Buyers beware.

The Asssa office in Ciudad Quesada have always gone the extra km to provided us with an outstanding service, from knowledgeable,friendly and professional staff who are always incredibly helpful, through to the Quiron Hospital, we have always and will continue to put our trust and our health in their hands

Generally I have had a good experience with ASSSA.
Their representatives, Diane and Jane based in Mazarrón have been truly excellent. Very efficient, helpful and responsive.

Having been with Asssa for a couple of years I can honestly say I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Esther in the Quesada office goes above and beyond what is expected. I would go as far to say the face of the office - I was most surprised when I learnt she wasn’t the manager, she should be! Due to her diligence all appointments, queries are dealt with the utmost efficiency. 100% recommendation from our family and a big thank you.

I took out a Basic Medical Policy
With ASSSA as part of my Non Lucrative Visa almost two years ago! Unfortunately in the swings year of living here in Spain my health condition deteriorated and I was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer! The staff in the Orihuela Costs office arranged all my treatments via email and telephone conversations! Nothing has ever been too much trouble for them! They arranged the initial blood tests, then the Biopsy, MRI Scan and CT Scan. Whilst undergoing these thorough medical tests it was identified that I have High blood pressure. ASSSA approved me to see a Cardiologist and as a consequence I was sent to a Sleep Clinic where I have been diagnosed with sleep Apnea on top of my Cancer!!
ASSSA staff have been in constant contact with me in all my related medical problems ensuing that I was afforded the best service and treatment! I am now in recovery having had a Radical Prostectomy which ASSSA funded along with all my other treatment, they did it efficiently and effectively and they are currently working with me to resolve my Sleep Apnea issue. I can’t thank ASSSA and their staff enough for their help, advice and support and brilliant Service!

I was recently diagnosed with cancer and initially Asssa were good and I had a lot of tests but then when it came to treatment they failed, I was told I had exceeded my policy limits! I was not informed about these limits when I took out the policy and that I would be denied treatment, so I was shocked and very upset due to my condition. I had to go to the Spanish SIP health system to get treatment. I would not recommend Asssa for your health care

My wife and I have health care insurance at the La Zenia branch in Costa Blanca. When my wife needed medical assistance Irini assisted us from advice at the outset to arranging hospital appointments and Echo scan. Follow on appointments are also covered. What was a stressful time the process was easy and straightforward.
We are glad that we engaged ASSSA to cover our health insurance.
As an aside: Irini also arranged our yearly dental check-up and follow up x-rays. All included in the policy.

Durante este largo período, ningún llamamiento nuestro pasó desapercibido. La cara de cualquier empresa son sus empleados que se comunican directamente con los clientes. Nuestra oficina es OFICINA PRINCIPAL INTERNACIONAL ORIHUELA COSTA (ALICANTE). El personal de la oficina es gente extremadamente competente, servicial y amigable. Nuestra gerente, Valentina Rosenberg, es una especialista altamente calificada con amplia experiencia, habla 4 idiomas, presta atención a nuestras solicitudes y siempre ayuda a encontrar las soluciones más rápidas de los especialistas más competentes. Durante 6 años, ha sido la cara de la empresa ACCA para nosotros. Tenemos algo con qué comparar y creemos que la compañía de seguros ACCA es una de las mejores en su campo. Creo que tomamos la decisión correcta.

Horrible customer service, 1 month amd never got approvals, finally cancelled the service after 2 mos, I pai 1200 euro, 6 mos later the have yet to pay me back. Avoid.

I would recommend ASSSA for health insurance for expats moving to Spain. Judith Gil was extremely helpful and patient in assisting us with the best plan to suit our needs.

ASSSA Fuengirola:- Excellent customer service from start to finish when applying for my health insurance policy! Everything was done quickly which was a big help when applying for my visa as this is time critical! For me personally, this was the best health insurance policy at very reasonable rates! I would recommend them 100%

I very recently had cause to be quite concerned regarding various health issues.

I had been on the receiving end of a very dissatisfying appointment and, having been an ASSSA patient for many years, spoke with my local office who arranged for a pretty swift appointment with a clinical specialist to whom I will be eternally grateful.

If it were not for me being referred to the specialist in question I feel convinced I would be nowhere near as far 'down the road' as I am now to finding out what was wrong with me and getting solutions.  There are no two ways about it that had it not been for ASSSA’s Quesada office, and indeed the specialist, reacting with such high levels of professionalism and knowledge I would not be where I am now - and for that, to you both, I say a big heartfelt thank you.

The following I have copied from one of my emails and make no apologies for naming the individuals who have contributed to my peace of mind after a very turbulent and worrying period:

“Esther, thank you so very much indeed for what you do for us and as I have said previously in this email we both appreciate your commitment, outstanding abilities and professionalism very much indeed”.

Finally, it would be very remiss of me not to say thank you to Dr Zepeda of SanySa in Almoradi and to ASSSA who for many years have been there for me and my wife in our time of medical need.

Absolut tolle und sehr kompetente Beratung und Betreuung von der lieben "Jenny Schuster". So ein Service ist echt wahnsinnig. Hier ist man als Kunde echt super aufgehoben.

Initially they were great however when I discovered I had a cancerous Carcinoma..this is what happened., Firstly I had to travel an hour and a half to see specialist after seeing doctor near me.
Medical Insurance disputes paying for me to have a procedure to remove a carcinoma I noticed AFTER the policy started. The Policy is specifically no waiting time no co pay policy.

They say “ the carcinoma started growing before the policy started”.

I say, it may well have. It was noticed AFTER the policy started as it was only discovered by myself after the policy started. The dermatologist discovered 2 other carcinomas I didn’t know about.

I am going to fight them.

Does that mean that if something extremely untoward was discovered in my body such as heart disease that I knew nothing about, cant see or discover without a specialist they will also reject that claim on the basis that this started manifesting itself a long time ago??? Utter rubbish

Ive demanded complainst form after talking to lawyer

From the initial enquiry, through underwriting to the speedy issue of the certificate, nothing was too much trouble, answered all the questions and provided info immediately, I can honestly say I have not seen this level of customer service before, in the UK or in Spain. Judith Gil is an exceptional asset to this company
